Hello, I often edit batches of photos where I need to use the adjustment brush to paint over a subject’s face. It would really improve my workflow if the adjustment brush could stay open and active as I advance through images. Right now, I have to open the brush (K), paint, close it (K), move to the next image, and repeat the process. If the brush could remain open while I arrow through multiple images, it would eliminate the repetitive task of constantly opening and closing it. Thank you for considering this feature!
How to put this politely ... ? Having had my workflow completely disrupted recently trying to reconfigure the colours back to what I've known and used for 12+ years, it now seems that we've had "Audio Transition Handles" forced upon as well. On audio tracks a small grey box appears at the end of each audio clip when you hover your mouse over it. As you scroll your mouse across the screen, the grey boxes jump from one clip to another, and it's. the. most. distracting. thing. ever. I've tried all the options in the Wrench/Spanner menu, I've looked at all the options in the three bar Hamburger menu, and I can't see a way of turning thisZfeature off. Does anyone know how to turn them off? I just don't want this "feature", please. Please Adobe, please. Please let me turn this off. This post is also more time wasted I've spent to day, instead of working, costing me time and money. Many thanks all.
For my commercial and video editing work, I rely on nested sequences quite a lot, for everything from split screen comps to advanced layering and more. Just as I would in After Effects with Precomps. However inside of After Effects, there exists a beautiful feature known as the Composition Mini-Flowchart, where you press tab and it displays a flowchart of where the current precomp exists. You can then use arrow keys to move in and out of the flow, which is handy for comps inside of comps. What I find most helpful in this context is when you open a precomp to make a small change, you can very quickly return to the previous view by hitting tab + left arrow, to go back out to the main composition it resides in.I would love to see something like this in Premiere with nested sequences, whereupon stepping into nested sequences to make some changes, you could quickly step back out, and also see a flowchart illuminating where else the nest exists within your project, or if you want to step further into nests within nests. Many helpful reasons to do this, where AE makes it a breeze, but unfortunately in Premiere the workflow of stepping in and out is a bit clunky.Thank you!
Is there any way to have ruler guides be contained within a sequence? I work between 16:9, 9:16 and 1x1 all the time and hate having to change my guides each time I go to a different sequence. I've finally set up some templates for myself which obviously massively speeds this up, but it's still a pain! Any thoughts appreciated or if this can become an idea for the dev team then sweet.... 👀
There are many, many (potential) Photoshop users and users of other Adobe products for who a monthly subscription just isn't affordable. They simple don't use the products often enough for a $20 monthly subscription. I estimate that for every heavy Adobe user (designers/photographers/etc. ) there are at least 50 users who love Adobe products but use it less than 10-15 hours a month. If Adobe would create a credit based payment system, where you pay, for example, $0.50 for 1 hour of product use, I believe many of them would start their favorite Adobe product(s) again. If only 10% of then spend $5 a month, Adobe would double their revenue from Adobe design products. I, for one, would definitely start using Photoshop again if such a system would exist. I tried many alternatives, but nothing is as good and intuitive as Photoshop. And it would be far more fair as well. Right now, someone who uses Photoshop for 5 hours a month spends as much as a full time designer who uses it all day long. That's far from fair. I hope Adobe will create something like this and gain back the enormous share of users it has lost since they started their subscription model.
Reviewing photos on mobile is my main use case for the mobile app, but currently the app does not allow you to say in just a review mode if you want to go back to the grid. I frequently want to star or flag photos, then go back to the grid to go to other photos. Current state the app forces you back into a develop/edit mode, then you have to hit back again to go back to the grid. Then viewing a single photo takes you into develop again, where you have to hit the menu to get back to info and rating mode. This is a huge slowdown in workflow when just trying to review and not edit photos. I think they should either be entirely separate modes that you explicitly switch between like desktop, or at a minimum it should stay in the info and rating mode once you enter it and hitting back should take me back to the grid and of I view another photo from the grid it should still be in info and rating until i explicitly switch to an edit mode.
The Norwegian AI trancription/captioning service "Randi" has introduced "temperature" setting for captions.I want this in Premiere Pro! It would be great for universal design. Here's what they say: Choose “temperature” and preferred sentence length when transcoding your video to get the sentence length that best suits your particular video. This will help you shorten the sentences in the subtitles so that they better suit your preferred style. At high temperatures (50-70%), Randi (the AI) will also try to make the sentences more “general” and readable, as we know from TV for example.
Is it possible to have Adobe set the Libraries & Brands in the online view of a library to be default set to “View by group” instead of “View by type”? We have very organized groups that that display very effectively as we have organized everything by group. But the default “View by type” just lumps it all in one disorganized jumble. To get it to view the “View by group” mode you have to set it each time you enter a library, and each time you view an item and then go back into the library it reverts back to “view by type” it is very frustrating and would be much more user friendly if Adobe would set the View by group as the default view type. Please pass this on to the ones who make those decisions, it would be an easy thing to implement and would improve the user experience greatly, Thank you!
Hello Adobe, I've been using Photoshop since the first public release. Same is true for Lightroom. Thank you for your superb products! When clients send me their selects, sometimes the physcial filename for those images get renamed because of how they are viewing, culling and emailing the images back to me. Recently I was sent images with cryptic filenames, which takes more time out of my schedule to track down the images. In Lightroom's Slideshow, there's an option to add text overlays for each image. One of the options is to show the image filename. I'm requesting to add the same text options found in Slideshow to the Export / Watermark menu. This will allow Lightroom users to bake in the filename as superimposed text over the image — so if the physical filename is ever modified, the Lightroom user can still easily track down the original file since it's visible on the image itself.I've included a sample image of what the Slideshow Filename overlay looks like. Also, it would be great to have left / center / right / top / bottom / corner justification options included for this. Thank you, kindly. Erik plan it
Doing lots of tests exporting from Premiere to Resolve as my colorist wants to work in Resolve. After the colorist’s work is done in Resolve, is it possible to make a tweak in Premiere and update the Resolve timeline? I wish I could export from Premiere again and Resolve would update the timeline rather than make a new one. The color settings would remain. Is this possible? Thank you.
In the {Photo} menu is a sub menu item called {Auto Advance}. When checked, I assumed it would behave like Auto Advance in Lightroom Classic. And after a fashion it does. If I choose a rating number or a flag hot key, the selected image will Auto advance. In Lightroom Classic you can add an image to the target collection with the hot key "B" and the image selection will auto advance. In Lightroom Desktop, the target album hot key is "T" but pressing that key does not auto advance. Can Adobe expand the Auto Advance option to include adding an image to the Target Album?
LrC, please add a Not Sky mask in the mask options when creating a landscape mask. Yes, I could simply create a Duplicate and Reverse mask, BUT. The purpose of such a mask is to be able to edit tonality, etc., for everything not in the sky. For example, Curve, Clarity, saturation, dehaze, items you may not want to apply to a sky.
When you create a landscape mask, you are prompted to select what subtype (Sky, Vegetation, Ground, etc). If you select multiple ones, the masks are automatically named as such (Sky, Vegetation, etc). BUT when you select just one, it is not automatically named as such, and you need to manually rename it (if desired) Request that this naming occur in both situations.
LrC, request Vibrance slider be added Effects sub-panel in the Masking edit panel. Also consider moving the Saturation slider to this panel from the Color panel, so as to match the general edits (not masking) panel.
For LrC, request that the option to hold down the Alt/Option key on sliders when in a mask as to show clipping (Whires, Blacks, etc.) be added as is already in the general tone panel.
Over the years using Premiere, this is the one thing that I repeatedly come up against. For sure, it's user error, but I feel like whenever I've added in and out points, Premiere should then automatically use them while exporting.
Hi,I download the plugin on Adobe Stock for AVIF/AV1 format compatiblity for Photoshop but i mainly use Adobe Bridge for managing and searching for images for projects. How comes that AVIF format not supported into Adobe Bridge?Could we have a plugin also for Bridge please? Thanks.
I had to do some digging on the internet on setting an output module as a default so it always shows up in the Render Queue. The steps are: Clicking the down arrow next the "Output Module" to bring up the list of output templates. Command+Click (Mac) or Control+Click (PC) the template you want to be default. Look for the confirmation in the Info paul that says "Default Movie Output Module set to:..." Devs, please acknowledge that this is esoteric UI and UX. This could be done a lot better, don't you think? What if the user doesn't have their Info panel open? How are they going to know the default was set? In the evolutionary timeline, programs like Photoshop are evolving into mammals with modern UI and UX while After Effects remains a dinosaur. I encourage you to take fresh look at the program and how efficiencies can be made and tasks can be more straight-forward.
This is super annoying. I create a keyframe, let's say a motion keyframe. Set it to 50. Then create another one, set it to 100 and put it at the end of the clip. Then I scroll to the second keyframe and suddenly, Premiere has switched me to the next clip in the timeline for some reason. This is so annoying. Even moreso when I'm using my mouse to move the scrubber around, sometimes it juts me all the way to the end of the timeline. I can't imagine a scenario where I would want this behavior.
This is a "simple" request (is it really?) with a lot of applications for me. I would like to be able to access the verticies of a text box via expressions the same way I can access them in a shape layer. I do a lot of lower third mogrts, and this would make it a whole lot easier to make more sophistcated graphics. I have been using MATH and sourceRectAtTime. It would be nice to have direct access rather than sort of "linking" like this.
When using Topaz, I woudl like to have a box to rename the modified (by Topaz) file when it is saved back to the LRC libarry. This option is available in Topaz Photo AI app, but not in LRC. A box could be put in the Additional External Editor menu saying something like.. 'add prefix' 'add sufix' etc. This feature would enable fast searches for all Topaz modified files.
Hi, Don't you find horrible to see a bunch of pictures scolling as developping in LRC, only because the index finger has slightly touch the back of the mouse... Does anyone know a way to deactivate this behavior, ideally only in LRC? I wish Adobe offers a setting in the general preferences to solve this...
