Have been using photoshop desktop for years to edit photos in .jpeg (mostly removing little objects) and outcome photo is always little smaller or little bigger in size with same resolution and meta data. Now started to use photoshop web version for the same above mentioned editing as my computer doesn't support latest version and ai features of photoshop but here the outcome image size of .jpeg files is drastically reduced while keeping resolution and metadata. There is no option to choose image quality while saving a photo like in desktop version Any idea to keep photo size about intact like desktop version
can we have it?that the parent whip can connect to the objects on the preview panel so we don't have to navigate tons of layers to parent our wanted layer
I need to use symmetry path a lot in my work and I'm working with huge documents. I'm always frustrated beyond time and space that it's ALWAYS appears somehwere THERE where I cannot see it. I need to make new concept in another place of the doc so I need it to follow my "viewport". Could you do this please? You already have "use last symmetry" why don't you give "place symmetry in a middle of the screen" option (or make it as default)? This would GREATLY reduces my time and frustration with this tool.
One of the best features about the EGP is that you can put controls at various levels of a nested composition. While designing, I might want something immediately accessible, but when I start to animate, I might need more controls and some of the same further up. Users already have this functionality but unfortunately, its very laborious. A simple way to say "this control" should be "surfaced to the top" would mean I can always see that particular control no matter how many times I precompose something or move things around. Its a small quality of life update but one that I would truly welcome. It shouldn't be a global on/off, but rather selective to the particular control in need.
A common issue I've seen here. When exporting a sequence from premiere the color shifts dramatically in the majority of playback programs. Quicktime, Vimeo, Youtube etc. VLC works fine but not everybody is using VLC. Makes for lots of wasted time on color grades. Comments from Adobe below This is an issue we (Adobe) are aware of. The best desciption of this issue is in this article and the related video: https://www.todddominey.com/2021/01/24/why-are-videos-washed-out-on-the-mac-exploring-quicktime-gamma-shift/ A feature for handling this issue - adjustable Viewer Gamma - has been added to Premiere Pro v24 and is explained in this documentation: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-ideas/quicktime-gamma-shift-prevent-color-shift-on-export-from-premiere-on-macos/idc-p/14186643. On Windows 10/11, even if you have dark mode enabled in Windows theme settings, it still leaves you with a white glaring title bar on the top of Premiere Pro and After Effects (pictured). I understand this is a technical limitation from Microsoft since their dark mode is wonky, not perfect (essentially just a lazy reskin of their white menus), and even broken in some contexts, but I think what Adobe devs could do is create their own title bars in-app similar to how Photoshop and Acrobat do, and that will give them the ability to color it independantly from Windows. With the onset of different OLED monitors becoming more common & mainstream in the near future, this would be a really helpful feature request as it can help avoid burn-in of pixels, and also cause less stress on the eyes for longer periods of work.Presently, the only real way to get dark title bars in these applications is to use third-party Windows customization software and themes, which pose a major risk to effective Windows operation as they have a tendancy to break other things, and are generally untrusted. P.S. Perhaps we can also look into making the context menus (the menu that opens when you right click a piece of media or your timeline) dark as well? 👀
I hate Microsoft with a passion, they've bricked 2 laptops and cost me THOUSANDS trying to retrieve lost audio files (yes, yes, I should've backed up my computer, but I didn't because I was like 19 and stupid and the automatic updates that I turned off **shouldn't have gone through anyway, and an update shouldn't have broken my computer**) so I'm ditching them for Linux, but I love Audition and really hate to lose my favorite audio editing software. It would be sooooooooo so so cool if you guys could make a version that's Linux compatible, especially with the rise in Linux users that's happening these days.
I'd love it if when you add a Null, I could have the layer selected add the null and have the layer selected automatically parent to the null. This could be used on multiple layers selected too. That way, you're not having to parent layers to the same null one by one.
Can we add a tool that select with straight lines in the rotobrush, as it will come very handy when we're roto tables or buldings and anything with sharp edges, it can be the polygonal lasso tool in photoshop
When i select multiple text layers and i need to convert them to shape layers the "convert to shape layers" is greyed outI need to have the ability to change them at once
I dropped in here to see if anyone else is as frustrated as I am by how virtually useless managing keywords is in Lightroom. Sadly, I discovered that the most recent post in one particular thread is... 8 Years Old and none of the asks that I read through have been acted on.PLEASE address our concerns and overhaul/redesign the limited functionality of the Keyword List. We NEED a means to reorganize keywords that doesn't require us to select a keyword and then drag it uuuup and doooown.Allow side-by-side display of the Keyword List, so that we can expand and collapse either list to facilitate moving and organizing keywords from and into either one.I'm attempting to organize my keywords by grouping them under sub-keywords. As an example, I need to select and drag the keyword Zebra all the way up to nestle under Animals, which is cumbersome and annoying.Furthermore, as one drags a keyword up or down the list, it becomes a challenge to stop at the word that one needs to nest under and becomes a ridiculous game of sneaking up and down so that it doesn't over or undershoot. In order of PreferanceSuggestion #1What I'm suggesting would work much the same way that Microsoft Explorer works with two windows open, allowing us to navigate in one to find eg. a document and then dragging that into a folder in a different window.Suggestion #2Right-click a keyword> Move> a text field opens up, which begins to autofill as I type and allows me to select that keyword to nest underSuggestion #3Similar to the Google Drive> Right Click Keyword/Document Name in a List> Organize> Move, featureThis is a SERIOUS issue, and your silence is extremely discouraging.
If you select multiple text boxes in Illustrator then auto-thread them (type>threaded text>create) it threads them but I can't seem to figure out the rhyme or reason to the order in which it threads them. It's not top-to-bottom, it's not left-to-right, it's not stacking order. It might go in order that the text box was created? That's the most consistent thing I can find, and that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Here are some ways I wish auto-threading worked: Defaulted to top-to-bottom; left to rightAbility to thread text boxes in the order in which they were clickedEasier way to reorder threaded text boxes (I know you can click the in-and-out ports. However, I'm often working in files a beginner designer who didn't understand how to work with type set up. There are so. Many. Text boxes. Haha I have to migrate all those boxes over to InDesign and it's just been a nightmare. In/out ports are tedious, auto-threading doesn't work consistently, and selecting all the text frames does wacky things when copied from illustrator and pasted into InDesign. Sometimes I just export an image and have ChatGPT or Gemini extract all the text, but an imporved auto-thread tool could also do the job. I wrote some scripts that auto-thread text boxes top-to-bottom L-to-R in InDesign, but haven't been able to find a comparable workaround in Illustrator. Suggestions are welcome and appreciated!)
My creative team has multiple designers in an InDesign file, and multiple editors in the corresponding InCopy file. We've recently started using Share for Review on the InDesign file which has been good, but it'd be really nice if it was integrated better with InCopy as well. For instance, if a designer left a note in Share for Review about copy needing to be cut down to fit in a layout, the Editor would be able to see it in InCopy without having to open the Review link.
There's currently a Google Workspace x Creative Cloud app, but it's currently pretty useless. It says it's for Slides, Docs, and Mail, but only actually kinda works with Mail. I'd LOVE to be able to use Paragraph & Character styles seamlessly between Docs and InDesign, for example. This extension says it can do that, but in my experience and the reviews from others, that's not actually possible yet. This would be HUGE in improving workflow with my creative team. Being able to receive notificaitons on Share for Review comments within Google chat. Integration between Google Docs & InCopy would also be amazing. My creative team does a lot of its brainstorming in Google Slides, and it'd be nice to be able to use CC Library assets in the slides. Again, this is advertised, but not possible.
My big idea is to have the source panel have the option to "free play". Often, I'm previewing music or sfx tracks in the source window and I'd like to scrub through sequences/ edits to see if the music will fit the raw footage. Why is this not a feature? It would be a simple button on the bottom or a setting in the wrench in the source panel. Thanks.
When an image is dragged from an outside folder (i.e., Images) onto the timeline, have that be the active clip, instead of another, so when features are applied, we are not inadvertantly adjusting a clip that is not showing in the Program window that is not to be modified--obviously--because if I had wanted to edit its features, I would have been viewing it in the Program window!) Thanks!
For once, the iPad version has something useful that the laptop version does not! When importing photos to the iPad version, the hundreds/thousands of photos on the import screen are broken up by date/grouped by date. This allows the user to toggle all the photos just for each day they wish to have imported. With the laptop version, while they are in capture order, all the photos are in one continuous field, not divided by day. Users must toggle 'Select All' is they want all of them, or do the usual click the first, the find the last and shift-click it, then toggle the check mark. Having what could be hundreds or thousands of phtoos on the import screen organised by day makes this process much simpler, especially when travelling and accumulating photos each day. Even better would be allowing users to toggle day or day+hour for really intense photo sessions.
