Lightroom Classic

Hey y'all, For the last few months I've been encountering an irritating bug that I would love some help solving.  I have a catalog of around 90,000 images--a mix of digital camera files as well as film scans. Running Mac OSX Sonoma 14.4.1 with Lightroom Classic 13.2 (CC, updating automatically). The issue: In Library grid view, I see my edited images, but when I select an image, after a few seconds of "thinking", the edit dissapears and the image shows as if it just came straight from camera (unedited). This remains the same when I move into the Develop module. The edit history is still intact, so I simply have to navigate to the most recent (top line) of the edit history and select it to reload the edit. Almost like I'm reminding it that it's been edited.  This bug only affects images from before a certain date. So if I import new images and edit them, they hold their edits just fine. Since updating to LrCC 15 yesterday (Windows 11), I find my workflow much slower. Both the library and develop modules are slower, photos taking a long time (a couple of seconds) to paste settings in the develop module (despite LRCC receiving the input to paste immediately, the effects take a few seconds to apply to the image - this is true across both my Phase One tiff/raw files and my Fujifilm X series raw files).   Anybody else experiencing some slowdowns (as usual with a new LRCC release, unfortunately). 

I am having issues with LR (15.0.1) behavior when applying auto profile lens corrections (via copy/pasting, "paste from previous," or creating/applying a preset).   As soon as I reduce the "amount" of distortion or vignetting, the profile setup gets changed to "Custom" and as such copy/pasting applies the exact lens profile (the model & profile of the copied image) to the next image regardless of whether it used that lens or not.   My usage case is something like the following: 1) I have pictures taken on a Canon EF16-35mm f2.8, as well as pictures taken on a Canon EF35mm f1.4 and a Canon EF50mm f1.4. 2) Often when I click "Enable Profile Corrections," I like to turn the distortion correction to "0", and reduce the vignetting correction to 50. 3) When I proceed to the next image and paste from previous, LR also applies the Lens corrections with the lens profile & model of the previous image. I just installed 15.0.1 and the 2nd monitor no longer shows or toggles the info display with the press of the 'I' key.  OS is Win11.

On my imac importing mp4 or mov files in my library has n problem.On my New windows 11 laptop it is impossible to import both file types.Does anybody have a solution for thuis problem. / I

Suddenly i am receiving a 2nd prompt screen when Exporting a photo to disk. As far as i know i have not changed any settings. The first screen has "Export To: Hard Drive" and "Export To: Specific Folder" with a valid folder selected. When i click Export a Windows File Explorer window appears with the proper folder already selected and i simply need to hit "Select Folder" to continue. I have run into a problem after upgrading to the latest version of Lightroom Classic. I keep having an exclamation mark on my ultimate parent folder, but there is no exclamation mark on any of the subfolders. Hence, I can see if there are any missing photos. Everything seems to work fine but I’d like to get rid of the exclamation mark. I have tried to make a new catalog with the same photos. This works and the exclamation mark disappears but I am loosing all my collections. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I'm using Lightroom Classic version 15.0.1 on a MacBook Pro, Sequoia 15.7.1.I understand that you may get an icon showing that folders have missing subfolders in them. My main folder, Pictures, shows the icon. I have gone through every folder & subfolders within that parent folder, and none of them have the icon.I have no idea how to get rid of that icon without starting a new catalog and reimporting all my images (26K+).Is this a bug as was suggested by a Lightroom Classic guru, or am I missing something?Thanks! 

Running LrC 15.01 on Mac mini M4 Pro with 64GB of memory and Tahoe 26.1. Catalog is on the main drive with over 300GB free. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling LrC. I also tried factory reseting the preferences on LrC.Certain things are not responsive. The most recent example is exporting. I selected 10 photos to export and hit the export button. It took over a minute for the export dialog to come up. I selected the options I needed (nothing exotic and nothing that has not worked quickly before) and it has been several minutes already and there is no sign of the export happening. Another example is marking a photo as rejected. I hit the X and it says the photo is rejected but it is not marked with an X nor grayed out in the grid view until minutes later.I observe that LrC is often running at around 100% in the background regardless of whether I am doing anything or not. I left it overnight and it was still doing 102% CPU usage in the morning. I have paused sync, AI culli

I recently had the external hard drive containing all of my images fail. Today the 4 TB WD SSD from Backblaze arrived. My Macbook Pro shows this new drive in Finder but LrC is not seeing it. I've used multiple SSDs in the past as I travel quite a bit and never had a problem with it recognizing any of the Samsung T7s that I use. I am using LrC version 15.0.1. Apple M2 Pro  Sonoma 14.6.1. 

The SDK call folder:getParent() raises the error "?:0: attempt to index field 'parent' (a nil value)" when called on the root folder of some catalogs on Windows -- it should return nil instead. To reproduce on LR 15.0.1 / Windows 11 ARM and Windows 11 Intel: 1. Download and uncompress this catalog folder:https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/t1gksh5hw2ov8g48tcca6/folder-getparent-bug.2025-11-20.zip?rlkey=kxqi5d5bx3tqcalrne14fyv2k&dl=0 2. Move the file "folder-getparent-bug.lua" from the catalog folder to the LR Scripts folder. 3. Start LR and open the catalog. 4. In the Scripts menu, invoke "folder-getparent-bug".  Observe this output: When tested on Mac OS 15.7.1, no error occurs:  Note that on Mac, the call to folder:getParent() returns 0 results rather than nil (though in most contexts, there's no difference).  

Problem: If I made a mistake in a face assignment to a named person, I cannot fix it. Steps to reproduce: Double-click the face of any named person to open up the collection of faces assigned to that person ("Confirmed" panel). Right-click any face - no menu available. This means that if I made a mistake in the assignment, I cannot fix it. Hola, En Lihgtroom 15, cuando se importa un preset despues no sale en la lista de la izquierda. y si se crea uno, no aparece en las demás carpetas. Aunque esta instalado y no se le puede llamar. Es decir que creas un peset y no lo puedes usar en otras carpetas o catálogos. El preset solo lo puedes usar en una carpeta.

Dear Adobe team,I recently upgraded to a high-end workstation running Windows 11 (Business Edition, fully updated) with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB, and noticed that Lightroom Classic 14.4 (build 202506051112) does not recognize or enable GPU acceleration.The app displays the message “GPU not supported”, and disables all GPU-related enhancements, even though:The GPU is fully recognized by OpenGL (GL_RENDERER: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti / OpenGL 4.6.0 NVIDIA 576.80).Photoshop CC 2025 detects and uses this GPU with no issue.The driver is up to date (version 576.80).I have tested multiple settings (auto / custom GPU selection, performance modes).This seems to be a listing issue, i.e. the RTX 5070 Ti is not yet whitelisted as a supported GPU in Lightroom Classic, despite offering full OpenGL and GPU compute support.Please consider adding official support for the NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti in an upcoming update of Lightroom Classic.Let me know if you need logs or diagnostic reports (config.l

As the title says, 2 day old proart px13 laptop, updated all drivers on my asus, downloaded nividia app and installed the studio driver for rtx 4070. When in develop mode the image seems to jump at the bottom of the screen up and down when editing, masking.  Tried turning HAGS off.Optimised lightroom in properties to enhabced performance.Forced Lightroom classic to use rtx 4070 in graphics settings on windows.Turned GPU off in edit > preferences on lightroom classic and no image jumping.Turned GPU auto and custom and set to GPU for image processing only, set cache to 50 gig also, still not working. Screen resolution 60hz and SRGB profile selected in windows.Optimised lightroom classic in nividia app. Reset lightroom classic cache. I have ran out of ideas and now with hags off it is running slower and still jumping.  Any advice or fixes would be greatly appreciated. 

Hello and thank you in advance.I'm getting ready to move my Lightroom Classic catalog and images to a new computer. Several years ago, My hard drive failed and, long story short, at the time I did not have time maching setup. I did have an online backup and also had the repair shop try to extract as much data from the drive as they could. The problem is that all the folders got messed up due to the issues, and, my negligence and general ingnorance of how folders worked within lightroom. I finally just finished reconnecting the photos that were "missing" in Lightroom, but the problem is the photos are scattered around in various places on the computer. I want to be able to clean this subfolder mess up and organize it the way it should be before I export to new computer.  Any guidance of the best way forward would be appreciated. I used lrc with no problem till 10 days ago. Then I  renewed the subscribtion and now lrc did not work. I tried to unistall and reinstal the app but the result is the same: it doesn't start. When I try to open the app, it appears for a while in task manager but then it is suspended and it didn't start. What does it means? It seems that windows reject it. On the other side Photoshop (PS) is ok, it works as aslways with no problem. I tried to install also lr with the same results. How can I solve then problem?

Everytime I open lightroom classis now and try to use my pixieset plugin I get the error code #1000 "Connection failed, please check your internet connection and try again". I have strong internet connection so this isn't the case. I am using Lightroom classic v 14.5.1 on Windows 11 and recently switched internet from spectrum to fiber, not sure if this has anything to do with it. I have removed and added the plugin several time as well. Would appreciate any insight, this has been very frustrating!!

On some photos in the library module an exclamation mark appears and they do not embed the changes made in the developer module. Then one toggles with the Developer module and goes back to library and the images loads the changes made in develope module (but the exclamation marks remains).

Where do you go to hire someone to help you straighten out and figure out your folders?

Alright, funky error when syncing edits:  I'm working with a small set of masks in my current edit. one masking the background, one masking the object, one for eyes and sometime one for skin. When syncing edit, LR tells me to update AI info, whe I do, it takes 10 seconds telling me it's 5 seconds, nothing changes. Still says that AI data needs to be updated.  Masking for eyes and face gets adapted to the new picture,at least in 3 of 5 cases.  Masks for object and background will stay empty, I need to update it by hand in every single picture. Anything like that ever happened to anyone?  Currently using Lightroom classis 15.0.1 on macOS 15.6.1, mainly working with canon cr3 files.
