LrC v15.4.1 Windows-11: I am trying the Auto-Stack ‘by Visual similarity’ on a folder of images with many images I consider similar. Why am I getting the message- “Current slider settings doesn’t allow Auto-stacking”? and the [Stack] button is greyed out. Although the previews suggest that stacks will be created. This message appears for any position of the slider- except for the far right end when [Stack] appears but result is “0 stacks,...”Something I am missing?
Hi, Can´t acces a download link for v12.x for LrC anywhere, I run Big Sur so I need that version. Has it been cancelled? Best, Martin
I have a large keyword hierarchy with several layers of parent levels and subcategory levels. After catalog upgrade my keyword structure is in disarray, with keywords scattered into various levels parent to their correct placement in the heirarchy. They aren’t merely duplicated outside their proper place; some keywords have been removed and are missing from their proper place in the hierarchy. I understand that keywords can appear to be “misplaced” if files are imported from an old folder that was improperly moved outside of Lightroom control. This seems different. I may have done something wrong, but I don’t know what it was.
When switching Camera profiles in LrC and “As Shot” white balance is selected, LrC will change the Temperature/Tint so the visual result is the same before and after the profile switch. Yet, when the whitepoint is set to “Custom” the numbers are not changed so the visual result is different. Since this is hard to explain here is a small screencast: notice that Temperature changes when white blaance is “As Shot” (“Wie Aufnahme”, sorry for German), but does not change when it is set to “Custom” (“Benutzerdefiniert” in German). The user effect is the follows:With as shot white balance: the image is visually kept identical (apart from the different camera profile), with the same temperature and tint even though numbers change With custom white balance: the image visually changes, the perceived temperature and tint is different in addition to the different camera profile When using the white balance picker tool a neutral gray patch that was selected with one profile is not neutral gray wit
If you edit a keyword in Lightroom Classic (like adding synonyms or changing the keyword's export settings), all photos with said keyword are synced - even photos where keyword sync hasn't been activated.Lightroom version: 15.4.1Steps to reproduce:Open a catalog that is synced to Lightroom cloud. Activate keyword sync in LrC settings. Activate keyword sync on a selection of photos in the catalog (but not all). Choose a photo which doesn’t have keyword sync activated. Make sure that it has one or more LrC keywords. Find the chosen photo on Lr Mobile / Cloud and add a few random keywords to it. In LrC, edit one of the keywords of the chosen photo by adding a synonym to it.Expected result:Lightroom should sync any photos which have the edited keyword and keyword sync activated.Actual result: Lightroom syncs ALL photos with the keyword, regardless of whether they have keyword sync activated or not. (This sync will have the effect of the random keywords added in step 5 to be synced back to
Option to pause operations in progress. or even form a queue of operations.
Hello, TLDR: I wish the Ai was more clever when syncing subject masks, syncing faces rather than 'Person numbers' While editing I often create Ai subject masks for one or two people in an image. Let's say it's the bride & groom walking down the aisle for example... I've then got a big sequence of these images that I would like to sync. But when you sync, the Ai more often than not decides to choose 2 random people sitting off to the side, instead of the first image where I've selected the bride & groom. Looking into it deeper, it seems it always syncs the 'person number(s)' rather than the actual intended target. So after correcting the mask to the correct people - some shots of the bride & groom could be labelled differently... 'Person 2 & Person 3' while the next shot could be 'Person 3 & Person 4' or if it's getting it really wrong 'Person 5 & Person 6' ....even though the shot is only marginally different from the first
Hallo, trotz aktueller Version 14.2 funktioniert bei mir in LightroomClassic seit mehreren Tagen das Kartenmodul nicht. Ich bitte um Hilfe bzw. Aufklärung!
The smart-collection criterion Needs AI Update doesn’t identify photos with masking errors. To reproduce in LR 15.4.1 / Mac OS 25.4.1: 1. Download and open the attached catalog “needs-ai-update-bug.zip”. 2. Observe that the photo Error.jpg has a Sky mask flagged as an error, “Couldn’t find a sky to select”: 3. In Library, observe that the Library Filter column Needs AI Update doesn’t include an “Error” item identifying that photo, and that the smart-collection “_Needs AI Update = Error” doesn’t include that photo:
When using the denoise or enhance features, it would be great if the filters selected in the Develop module would continue to stay selected. Currently, if I have a set of filters - like hiding rejected images, or specific color tags - and then decide to enahnce or denoise an image, whenever Lightroom finishes processing, it resets all of my filters back to showing everything. If I've already rejected an image - or 100 - I clearly don't want to see them, and don't want to have to keep clicking the desired filter after every single enhancing/denoising process, just to get rid of the clutter. Sometimes, I can batch enhance or denoise, but other times I need to do it one at a time , and repeating this process for 100-200 images, for example, wastes a lot of time and is incredibly annoying.
I cannot use Lightroom Classic. Every catalog I try opens in the background. All apps and graphics driver are up-to-date. I'm operating Windows 11 on a Sky Tech gaming machine. I have spent many hours online with several different Adobe techs have been unable to solve the problem. One seems to think that the catalog is corrupt, but I have tried multiple catalogs--backups and new.
Hello, I am having major technical issues with the Lightroom app. It constantly crashes and does not work at all. Since the app is unusable, I would like to request a full refund for my recent charge. Please help me process this refund. Thank you.
In the Send Book to Blurb function first the pages are rendered. Thereafter the upload takes place, during that second part the upload is very often stopped with this pop-up:Error appearing many timesThe pop-up shows very often, like dozens of time (100+ page book, 300+ images). The interval between messages does not seem to be fixed. This is the behavior of machine network while sending (between the errors):Data sent while continuingUnknown if this is normal…The progress bar does continue to go forward, so progress seems to happen between the errors. However, as too many errors are given no full book is uploaded currently. The screenshot is using a cable connection (from machine to router), using WIFI gives the same. This is behavior is observed in the LrC 15.3 and 15.2.1 and previously in early 2025 (LrC version unknown).Machine is Microsoft Surface, current version of Windows, ARM64; further info in attached file.
The Yellow colour label is very green. When seen on its own you could easily mistake it for Green. It’s only when you see Yellow and Green next to each other you can distinguish them. It should be changed to a more obvious Yellow.
In Lightroom 5.4, if I select a collapsed stack of photos in the Library module, I would like the option to automatically apply changes (e.g. metadata) to all photos within that stack. Background: as a first-time Lightroom user, I used the auto-stacking feature so that my 3-shot bracketed (i.e. HDR) photos would be stacked together. With the stacks collapsed, I went through my library, selected multiple stacks, and typed in a GPS location to be applied to those photos. I assumed that by selecting the (collapsed) stacks, the metadata would be applied to all photos within those stacks. However, the GPS locations were only applied to the first photo within each stack. After the fact, I learned that stacks must be expanded in order to select all photos within the stack. From my perspective, this defeats the purpose of creating stacks - if one must expand the stack to apply changes to all photos within the stack, there doesn't seem to be much point of creating stacks in the first place.
It would be very useful for both Panorama and HDR stitching systems to add a colour to the stack created by the process. My photosets contain a lot of panoramas and my workflow is as follows:Auto group the photos into stacks Inspect each stack and add a “Red” to the ones that need to be merged. Batch process the panoramas and try and remember to set the colour to “Yellow” Inspect the “Yellow” stacks and check the panoramas success. Mark those that pass to Green.I often forget to set them to “Yellow” when I queue the stitching process. It would be very use full for the stitcher to perform this task for me.
In Lightroom 15.4.1:Open Image with blue sky Generate a virtual copy Set copy to B&W in Basic panel. Sky retains a blue tint. Adjusting blue tones in B&W mix panel deepens or lightens tint but retains the blue colour. This also happens when using B&W preset such as InfraredNOTE: In further testing, I have only found this behaviour in two images which have been edited in Photoshop and saved at TIFF.
some of these files date back several years. How do I best manage them and how do I free up disc space?
When Lightroom is unable to apply content credentials, a button to auto retry exporting the photos until it works would be great. Having to keep clicking export until it works is frustrating, that would make it a lot easier. For example, when the popup “couldn’t apply content credentials” appears, I could press a button next to the show in library that says “Retry”.
Hello, Community. I'm a photography hobbyist who chases the aurora. Novice-level LRC user. Mostly illiterate when it comes to the details of monitors/sRGB color space. You guys will be lightyears ahead of me in technical acumen, but I’m hoping you will be able to point me to on-line resources or provide “Dummies” level info to help me understand the image discrepancy I find between the RAW image and what I import into LRC. Currently working on an older MAC (newer more robust MAC sitting here waiting to be unpacked). When I started post-processing RAW image from my 2026 aurora trip I immediately noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference between the intensity of the RAW image colors (MAC Preview app) compared to the image imported into LRC Develop module. (both displayed on 5-6 year-old DELL monitor, with same discrepancy seen on husband’s newer DELL monitor) LRC import images are 1:1. Is it my monitor settings? Any information or resources for a novice LRC user to help me understand w
In my Lightroom Classic (15.4.1), the icon for each layer mask located next to the mask name has disappeared. Previously, each mask had an eye icon and I could click on the eye which would turn off the mask visibility and change the eye icon to an eye with a slash through it. Now there is just a dark gray area with no eye. The only way to turn a mask on or off is to control click on the mask and select hide which is clunky. Is there a hidden setting that will restore the eye icon? Thanks
When browsing the library, there is a gray frame around every picture. This takes up screen real estate and adds nothing to the functionality of the application. It would be great to have the option to see pictures without this unnecessary frame.
Please add an option to the Grid view in LRC where it's just the image. No other information such as extended or compact. Just image thumbnail. You have this in LR Desktop and it massively helps with culling and selecting. I have always found the current view so hard to focus in on. Like I said, it's in LR Desktop.
Lightroom 15.4.1 on Windows. As GPU I have an NVIDIA 4070 with 12GB of VRAM, latest studio driver 6.10.62.In the Graphic tab of the NVIDIA App I can choose to "Optimize" LrC, but if I do then in LrC settings under Performance tab it sets automatically CUSTOM under "Use GPU", option "GPU for export" is disabled and greyed out and it says I have only "Partial graphic acceleration".If I manually force AUTO under "Use GPU" than when i go back to NVIDIA App it says LrC is not optimized, and if I select OPTMIZE again than under LrC Performance it goes back to partial accelleration. Any idea?
