Lightroom Classic

Since updating to latest version 15.3 I cannot use my presets or update AI edits.When I try I get a box appear saying I am downloading AI models. This gets to 99% then stops. Then when I try to use presets or update the AI edits I get a red box that says ‘some Ai models failed to download. Please try again later.This has been going on since yesterday. I have tried uninstalling LR and reverting to previous version but problem persists.  Any ideas?  

Hello all. I had to replace my old GPU (GTX 1660 Super) after it died. I’ve never experienced any problems using LrC with it on my pc with a Ryzen 5 5600 X processor 16Gb RAM.  But since I replaced it with an RTX 5060 I’ve had nothing but problems: initially any action (opening masks, moving sliders) would take forever to respond and were very stuttery) I’ve since updated the GPU drivers and things have improved somewhat. But I’m still having issues. It still takes a few seconds to open masks and use sliders, but once they start they operate smoothly. But it’s particularly slow at responding to the \ “before and after” action, it takes about 10 seconds to switch between the two. J'ai des problèmes de synchros sur LRC sur des photos avec beaucoup de calques. Il n'envoie pas tout dans le cloud (ce alors que je suis en vert la liste est vide), quand je récupère sur Lightroom mobile il en manque régulièrement je dois jouer avec l'historique des versions pour retrouver la dernière.Tout est en dernière version et je n’ai pas de problème signalé dans Lightroom web.

Lightroom Classic is crashing when trying to select the background mask tool.

hice actualización de la versión de LrC    ultima y cuando utilizo herramientas como eliminación de ruido, mascaras, aparece una ventana de error y se cierra  el programa, regrese a la anterior y el problema sigue. regrese a la versión 15.6 el problema sigue, parece que cuando se conecta con la nube surge el problema.

This happens in all “local edit” modes, such as brushes, gradients, “select subject” etc.In these tools, the “white” and “black” sliders behave weirdly, almost as they are editing a jpg. There is no latitude in the edit, even though it’s there in the original file: the same sliders, in the full image mode, work perfectly fine. it’s much quicker to provide an example so I’ll attach screenshots.https://imgur.com/a/rXdu48p (uploader not working today... I used imgur then) as you can tell, in the screenshots on the right i can pull whites to recover sun spots, and push blacks to recover detail in the furniture. on the left, doing the very same edit with brushes, both whites and blacks are severely clipped.  this has been happening forever, I’d love to see it fixed especially for recovering sun spots.

Whenever I try to apply a preset, any preset, this message pops up. “Downloading AI ModelsSome AI Models are downloading. Please try again later.”There’s nothing wrong with my internet, or disk space or anything really. It literally just started happening after an update I did (v15.3.1). I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled a few times, same thing. I can’t apply any preset, but lightroom can still function properly as normal. Can anyone help? 

Before updating to LRC 15 last week I routinely blitzed through bulk HDR merges of dozens of images in just a few minutes, as well as other dng processing/import from DXO Pure Raw, and now these tasks are taking an exorbitant amount of time to complete. This is destryong my work flow at a critical time for my clients. Merge to HDR in LrC 15.3 is stalling (beach ball) or not responding.  I frequently merge HDR images for Real Estate photos and today, after updating to LrC 15.3 I had to Force Quit from LrC multiple times to regain control of LrC.  I stacked my bracketed shots and used CTRL+H to merge.  LrC did process a couple before stalling.  After multiple attempts resulting in Force Closing, I tried using the menu commands, no change.  I then uninstalled 15.3 and reinstalled a fresh copy of 15.3 and the HDR problem continued.  Finally I uninstalled 15.3 and downgraded to 15.2.1 and the Merge to HDR function worked as expected.  

Updated to LR Classic 14.4. Initially everything seemed OK. Managed to do a few HDR merges, but now when I try, I get the preview screen coming up, but once I click to actually do the merge, it gets a little way into the process an then the progress bar just seems to stop and the merge doesn't complete, even after like 10 minutes. The interface is still responsive. It's just the merge process that doesn't complete.I have tried restarting LR and my PC but that doesn't seem to fix it.I also downgraded to version 14.3.1 and it still doesn't work.Seems properly broken, which is very annoying, as I have client work to do. LRC 14.4  with ACR 17.4Windows 11

Performance has significantly degraded after the recent update. Lightroom CC is now frequently freezing and crashing, with HDR merge being especially unstable and slow.This is occurring on a high-end system (Ryzen 5900X, 64 GB RAM), so the issue does not appear to be hardware-related. Description of Issue:Merge to HDR stalls (application unresponsive, beachball) when merging exposure-bracketed images on 15.4.1. Another user in an original 15.3 thread reported this resolved after updating to macOS Tahoe 26.5. I am on macOS Tahoe 26.5.2, a newer build, with a fresh OS install, fresh Creative Cloud install, and a brand-new catalog, and the stall still occurs on 15.4.1. When you exit, it just sits in the background then begins to consume ram. Hard exiting from Task Manager seems to work, but upon restarting it shows it’s a process but never appears as an app in the foreground or background.

So I've opened an image in Photoshop and I want to make a specific size crop, let's say 2048x1365 pixels. I select the crop tool and proceed to make a crop. And as I move the handles, I get visual feedback of the height and width of the crop as I move, allowing me to make a precise crop Now let's try and do the same thing in Lightroom ClassicI have an image open in Lightroom Classic, and I want to do a specific size crop as I did in Photoshop: 2048x1365 pixels. So, I select the Crop tool in the Develop module and proceed with the crop tool, moving the handles; there is no visual feedback, and I can not make a precise crop, So the only way to see any image dimensions is to press the letter I on the keyboard, which brings up the info overlay so now I can see the dimensions of the image, but as soon as I start to crop the image, this information disappears, and I'm working blind again until I stop moving the crop tool handles, which means that I have to stop and start moving the crop tool

Lightroom Classic will not open unless I pull plug on computer and reconnect.  Even then, LR classic is very slow to open and use of crop tool and sliders are fidgety and sometimes unresponsive. Photoshop does open easily.
