Lightroom Classic

For all the years I have used Lightroom I have used a User Preset to Import my photos. This is pointed at the current month in my Folder Structure and creates folders in that month according to the day of the month the photos are taken. Each month I edit the preset to move the output to the next month. I have recently mover my entire Catalogue from being split between my D: Drive and my external G: Drive so the entire catalogue is on the G: Drive. The Import User Preset has gone “wrong” and I cannot find a fix. Refer the following screens. Import using User Script - everything is as it should be with a couple of days straggling to be moved back to AugustLightroom structure after Import Nothing has added to September. Going through Previous Import - Photo - Go to Folder In Library takes me here. Which is outside my Master CatalogueThen I cannot Drag any of these new folders into their correct location within the Master Catalogue.I cannot find any way of either rectifying the problem wit

I have a brand-new Macbook Pro with the most up-to-date OS, and I can’t get either Lightroom installer (CC or Classic) to respond. Clicking on them does literally nothing; they just don’t ever open up. They don’t even give me an error message, so I’m not sure what I can even do at this point. Yes, I’ve restarted my computer multiple times and even had tech support take over my computer to try to fix the issue, and nothing’s worked. 

I upgraded from iPhone 14 Pro Max to 17 Pro Max. For some reason when I put my photos taken with the new iPhone through Lightroom (mobile version) to export them as sRGB for socials they come out much darker in exposure. This happens to all of the photos. I tried again my old photos taken with the 14 Pro Max and I don't have this issue. How do I fix this and what is going on? This is driving me insane. Thank you very much!

I use a Mac M5 Max with mac OS Tahoe 26.6 - lighroom cc keeps crashing within about 5-10 seconds of launching the application. What should i do? I have granted full disk access and tried disabling the graphics processor already.

It works fine for a few days and then won’t open.  Task Manager says it is running but I see nothing.  What gives?I should mention my catalog is huge … don’t know if that has anything to do with it.

I am currently using Lightroom to edit my photos, but I struggle with indoor restaurant lighting. So since 2 days ago, every time I try to apply a preset I get this pop-up saying “Some AI models are downloading. Please try again later.” that stays stuck at 0% and doesn't move.I saw one of the possible fixes may be to log out and back in, but when trying to log out I also get an error, the one in the attached picture.I've tried restarting my computer and router, changing firewall/antivirus settings, running as administrator, reinstalling LrC, and none work.It seems like all of a sudden LrC can’t recognize that I am connected to the internet.Does anyone have any other potential fixes? I’m on Windows 11 and using the current versions of both LR classic (15.5.1) and PS (27.10.0), but seeing different color rendering between the two programs. I checked a lot of color settings but eventually noticed that LR is using Camera Raw v18.5.1 and PS is using v18.6.0.2698. I’ve checked Creative Cloud for updates, but none are available. Why wouldn’t LR be using the current version of ACR?Creative Cloud shows current versions of LRC, Photoshop & Camera RawLRC 15.5.1 is using Camera Raw 18.5.1Photoshop 27.10.0 is using Camera Raw v18.6.0.2698​​DNG file opened in Photoshop immediately renders differently on same calibrated monitor 

I spaced and moved a Lightroom Classic folder in my external hard drive instead of in Lightroom so now the images can’t be found. But, when I right click on the folder or the parent folder in Lightroom the “Find Missing Folder” option doesn’t appear. What’s going on? Thanks!

Lightroom Classic 15.5.1 and prior versions. Using MacOS, but I doubt that matters for this bug.When using the Dust removal tool (in the Distraction Removal panel), if you rapidly add dust removal spots, the “Removing New Dust Spot...” dialog will stick and not disappear even after LR has finished adding the spot.Steps to reproduce:Enable Dust removal. Start rapidly clicking multiple spots, without giving each time to complete. The busy dialog will popup, timeout, but fail to dismiss automatically. Manually press Cancel to dismiss it yourself.

I installed the latest version of Lightroom, and every time I try to paste a preset onto a photo, I get the message: “Some AI models are downloading. Please try again later.” However, nothing actually downloads, and I can’t use my presets. And also I can’t use the AI in Lightroom Classic

Import photos from one drive to another with a lightroom catalog. Files are copied and sent to new location but progress bar shows an incomplete process (two actually). They get hung up more than ¾ of the way through. I shut LR down and restart. All photos are where I imported them to? LR will not do anything else until I restart. I’m downgrading.

It's all in the title. But here's a screenshot of the problem.Because of this problem, local AI functionality is much slower.I have already tried the troubleshooting steps on the troubleshooting page, but without success.This is intolerable considering that I pay for the subscription to this software.I've attached my dxdiag file.I'm also experiencing the same issue with Camera Raw versions 18.4.1 through 18.6. Only Camera Raw 18.4 still works correctly. And my NVIDIA driver is fully up to date with version 616.56, released yesterday.

Long time LR classic (windows 11 w/ networked 25T NAS) and med term LR cc user (on an iPad when shooting and on road) who has successfully been able to import, visualize, and edit pictures on both platforms using the synched feature and Adobe Cloud Storage. The work flow is 1)import pictures from my Canon camera directly into a new folder in LR classic and onto the 25T NAS with the same folder name for permanent storage with a copy to a 4T external HD (with additional redundancy by weekly automatic upload into the Amazon Glacier S3 Cloud Storage). 2) create a collection (same name) from the new folder  and sync to Adobe Cloud Storage (1T). 3) I edit on any device (windows computer, IPad,iphone, web) and all are synched.  Problem is when I go the other way when I'm on the road shooting and want to edit before i arrive home. A couple of months ago, I went to open a Lightroom Classic catalog, and it appeared to crash. The first Lightroom graphic appeared, but after a few minutes, the catalog didn’t open. At first, I force-quit and tried again. That didn’t help. Then I resorted to pulling an old catalog file from Time Machine, which worked initially but later failed the same way after closing the catalog and reopening. It wasn’t always immediate. Sometimes I could close the catalog and reopen it right away, and it would work, but eventually it failed the same way again.  I dug around in the Lightroom community and found many other people having similar issues, but most seemed to be using Windows 11. People said Lightroom would eventually open if you left it long enough. Several hours! I tried this and found that it was true. HI! When I upgraded to Canon R5 from the 5Dmk3 a few years ago my existing VSCO presets wouldn't work properly and a wonderful person on here sent me new dcp files for R5/6 which solved my problem and was amazing! And of course after looking for 3 hours can't find who it was. I have a NEW problem. Went to edit some older images taken on my 5DMK3 and of course my presets dont work properly  - they show in grey italics and the image is a bit washed out . It seem after a lot of searching the problem is the adobe no longer supports this“~~C - Kodak Portra 400_.lrtemplate” Is anyone able to help me please ! Im ready to throw my computer across the room. I have thousands of unedited images on the MK3 id love to finish editing , and obviously want consistency! My images shot on the R5 are still being editing perfectly with my slightly tweaked presets :) cheers Jo!
