Media Server (read-only)

I just installed Photoshop Elements 14 and keep getting error message when trying to complete first full backup?  The error message lists a path and also a blue link appears "Search online about this error".   The cite talks about an Erno?  error that makes no sense to me. 

i have a problem thatPublisher side : RTMPWatcher side: RTMP or HLS playersometimes my live stream( ,which publishing via AMS ) is paused and resumed again and again at watcher side without my intent in case access amount is 900 or more.(and sometimes view's quality become bad.  )But other stream is no problem at same server , same env.Please tell me some solution to resolve this problem if you have met similler problem.Thank you.( Adobe Media Server 5.0.9)

I have few mp4 files of one hour. For few mp4 files m3u8 has few less segments than total video duration, While for other mp4 files it is working properly and generates proper m3u8 file. For m3u8 which are having problem, when i hit .ts file in browser, which are not in m3u8 file but its within duration then actually it returns .ts file. So it seems AMS generates .ts files properly but somehow not added those into m3u8 file. e.g. for segment duration 8 seconds, suppose m3u8 file has 379 .ts entries (which is 50.32). Now when i try to get .ts file upto 450 (a hour) it returns those files. I tried to put mp4 files on two AMS server, and both have same problem. What could be the problem?

I use Macs I get this message on several sites that until a few days ago worked fine.  "failed to setup flashJason.stringify cannot serialize cyclic structures" If I remove flash from my system they work fine  but as soon as I put it back I get this. On my other Mac computers with flash it all works fine together. I think its started when I loaded 20.235 ? What did they do and is there a fix. ?

Hi all,I'm very new to Adobe Media Server, actually i'm not in this field. Somehow i ran into a project doing live streaming, and we bought AMS standard edition.I wonder if different serial numbers have different restrictions or behaviour, even installing AMS with the same installation package file.i downloaded the installation package from the link provided by adobe and i can install and run the AMS successfully.but somehow it doesn't work with the system our vendor developed. So they (vendor) installed the AMS with the SAME installation package on the same machine with fresh system, and their SERIAL NUMBER, it works completely fine.I did follow their installation step, same configs, and i have compare two different installed folders, the only different is the SERIAL NUMBER.could anyone help me about this?ThanksWayne

FlashMediaPlayback_101.swf doesn't appear to be working or hosted by adobe anymore  http://fpdownload.adobe.com/strobe/FlashMediaPlayback_101.swf. how do I install strobe player? Or where can I get the free version of Flash Media Player?Thanks

I am streaming video from Adobe Media Server and playing it back thru the Flash player and it works great. What I'd like is for the video to resize as the user resizes their browser. In my current implementation it works great as long as the user resizes to a smaller size. In that case the video resizes correctly. But, if they resize it larger then the video itself does not resize. My guess is that I'm not really resizing the stream and that I'd have to remove the existing net stream and replace it with another one. Is this the correct way to do it and will doing so cause major performance issues? My attempt at doing so is noted below but it had no success. When I open a video from my e-mail home page, half the time I get a white square on top of the video that says someone wants "permission to store information on your computer.  Up to 10KB."  Within than is a place to check Allow or Deny.  When I click either allow or Deny, nothing happens - I still can't see all of the video and I can't get rid of the square.  I guess I took my computer to the wrong repair shop because they couldn't get rid of it.  Does anyone know?  Thank you

We've been using the Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder as the foundation of our live webcasts for the past few years, and it has served us well, providing multiple bandwidths and iOS compatibility.We're currently in the process of updating our facility, and I need to know if we can continue counting on the Flash Media Live Encoder for our future webcasts, or if we'll be heading for trouble in the future if we continue down this road.If my impressions are correct, it look like a new version has not been released since 2009.  Furthermore, Adobe's removal of the ability to export video in the .flv format from Adobe Media Encoder, (not to be confused with FMLE), has me very concerned that we're relying on an outdated technology that has no future.Can anyone give me an indication as to whether we'd be better off abandoning our investments in the Adobe Media Servers and Flash Media Live Encoder?  And if so, what approach we should adopt instead?  (YouTube live streaming, for exam

I have Flash Media Live Encoder to stream to a private server. I am using a Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio for video capture. The problem that I am having is that the ATEM TVS shows up for other encoders, (Livestream Procaster, MX Light) but it does not show up in Flash Media Live Encoder. Can someone help me with this issue. It would seem to me that if there was a problem with the ATEM TVS showing in FMLE then it would also be a problem with the other software encoders.

Hi guys i'm interested in streaming content from a rtpm source to a stb (like a mag 254) for an iptv stream and i don't know where to start, i've looked online but i didn't find anything useful. the most useful thing is a 3-line string that i don't know where to put. I've also whatched a video on lynda.com for a HDS VOD stream but i don't need that. i think that i need a Adobe media server 101 curse. can you explain me that? Or give me useful links. Another problem that i wouldn't have is that if the rtmp link changes how does fms to grab it automatically?Thanks.

I have an older version of Photoshop and Premiere- Elements 10. I recently bought a new laptop but it doesn't have a cd drive. Is there any way I can download it using the serial number or something of that sort? I understand there are newer versions out there, and I plan on updating soon, but I need this on my computer fairly quickly for work.

I'm opening my HLS streaming URL directly on Safari. Is this a known issue? Has anybody experienced this before? I have tried following to no avail:- Invalidated HLS streaming URL path from edge locations- Restarted AMS from admin console- Restarted FMLE- Spent 4+ hrs googling for any relevant infoWhat are the things i can do to reproduce and narrow down the root cause? How can I  generate a smil file for rtmp://localhost/livepkgr/livestream%i? Can you give us an example like WOWZA do?Every time I searched on the net for smil example, WoWza pops in.

I am trying FMS 5 on my computer it works nice,but the problem is when i stop the video streaming and restart the streaming to the serverthe sample player which i am using to play the video does not play automatically, i need the solution for this.
