HiI'm multi point push streaming with adobe flash media server 4Stream structure like thisOpen Broadcaster Software (or Flash media live encoder) (RTMP) -> Home Flash media server with multi push script (main.asc)-> Stream to 2 justintv channels + 1 dailymotion channel (1024x576 , 1750Kbps)no problem at all when streaming to justintv but some another stream services have speed problemustream can not push with this methodand dailymotion, vaughnlive push speed slow down than OBS or FMLE Direct streamfor examplewhen direct streaming with OBS or FMLE (Without home server) , no problem at all stream to dailymotion and vaughnliveclearly no lagbut when push with server script, slow down push speed and unstable (it affect only for dailymotion and vaughnlive streams)justintv upload speed same as OBS, FMLE's bitrate but dailymotion, vaughnlive bitrate always slower than justintv or OBS, FMLELike this - justintv , OBS, FMLE (1750Kbps~2000Kbps) but dailymotion, vaughnlive (1600Kbps~1800Kbps)

Hellow everyone,I have some video stream in FMS, when the clients connect to the FMS Server I send the result of video streams on the server for them.  Now I like add some detail of video streams in the server for clients (how long stream this video, how many client are looking this video) etc.  Please advice me to get this Information of video streaming on the FMS server.Thanks in advance

Hello everyone.I've been trying to analyze the FMS5 logs with AWStats, but I am stuck on the log format setting. I've tried to add all fields on the log, but every time I update, all log records are dropped and AWStats shows all in zero.I've read that some users here have this AWstats setup working with Adobe Media Server, so I wonder if anyone could share the contents of your awstats.conf file.I am also asking this on the AWStats help forum, if I get the solution, I will share it here too, in case someone else gets stuck like I am.Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to configure IP addresses and ports when you distribute Introductions across servers? Or to achieve this, can you use only edge or origin servers? Thanks in advance

I try to publish my camera stream to FMS4.5 (applications/multicast) as a P2P stream on the client-side，and I get reponse：“NetStream.Publish.Start ” and “NetStream.Connect.Success” , but the NetStream info is "currentBytesPerSecond=0 byteCount=0 maxBytesPerSecond=0 audioBytesPerSecond=0 audioByteCount=0 ....metaData=null xmpData=null uri=rtmfp://218.199.102.119/multicast resourceName=null isLive=true" . I'm using Adobe Media Server 4.5 and the FLEX 4.6.0 sdk.I have an .swf application that connects to Adobe Media Server over RMTP, takes audio and video input from the user's webcam and mic, and does a NetStream.publish() to stream the file to the server. When the user is done, I do a NetStream.stop(). On occasion, the resulting file will end up with a size of 1kb.What's causing this and how can I prevent it, or otherwise end the session and inform the user that something went wrong?Alternatively, these forums seem dead, so does anyone know of a place where my question might be better suited?

I run an online radio station and would like to use the Adobe Media Server on Amazon but am concerned about the costs racking up because I broadcast 24/7.  How would the pricing work in this scenario?

I am using AMS 5.0 starter edition running on Windows 2008 R2 SP1.From the videoplayer.html, when the stream URL is "rtmp://10.40.102.91/livepkgr/livestream", no problem to get the live stream traffic via RTMP.However, when try to replaced with protocol as  HTTP as "http://10.40.102.91/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m" mentioned in related doc, not able to see streaming traffic.What wrong for abve HTTP URL?

Good morning,             I am wondering if Adobe Media Server is capable of streaming to my xbox 360. I could not find either a "yay" nor a "nay". Before I subscribe to this; does AMS stream to my 360?

I am using XSplit to feed live streaming to AMS 5.0 with "RTMP URL as rtmp://localhost/livepkgr" and "Stream name as: livestream?adbe-live-event=liveevent".By using videoplayer.html from AMS, ok to "rtmp://ams-ip-or-dns/livepkgr/livestream?adbe-live-event=liveevent" to retrieve live traffic very fast.Then, when I changed to use HTTP as "<a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://ams-ip-or-dns/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://ams-host-ip-dns/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m</a>".    It only show "Buffering ..." and could not see anything.</bodyTested with VOD. no problem when "rtmp://ams-host-ip-dnsvod/mp4:sample_720p_5m.mp4" or "http://10.40.102.91/hds-vod/sample_720p_5m.mp4.f4m"

Hi,I have an issue with my AMS 5.0.3 Standard Server in that .flv content will only stream if the file extension is ommitted from the URL.Is it possible with AMS 5 to stream flv content when the extension is specified?We stream off NAS and also have the same behaviour for the sample flv content that is shipped with the product.We have an in-house player that requires the extension to be specifiedthanksJason

If the internet connection drops for some reason I have the config set up to attempt to reconnect. Sometimes however, after a drop the connection will reestablish but with a "Netstream.Publish.Badname" error -- for all intents and purposes however the FMEncoder doesn't think there's anything wrong and continues to encode, but without publishing to the server. Usually it's fixed by either disconnecting and reconnecting again, or by stopping the encode, waiting til the network has been properly reestablished then running the encode job again. Is there anyway I can avoid getting this error? Or, if not, is there any way I can get FME to recognise the error and restart or something? I have to have this streaming going 24/7 and if there's a network outage currently FME loses it and won't continue.

I have just installed Flash Media Server. The default ports are 1935 and 80. I want the clients to establish a connection to the server and distribute peer lookup requests across multiple servers.  Is it possible to configure IP addresses and ports when you distribute Introductions across servers using RTMFP groups? Or to achieve this, would I be required to deploy an edge/origin servers? Or, is their another technique I can use? Cheers

HiI try to deliver a large video from Adobe Media Server 5.0.3 on Windows Server 2008 R2 over RTMP, but it doesn't work good.As a trial, I create two mp4 video files, differ by the size (4095px and 4100px in width) from a video source.The smaller one is played normally in flash video player ,but the other one isn't.When the larger video is played, the video screen become uniformly green in spite of the elapsed time displayed counting up.(the controllers such as play/pause button and seek bar work normally.)I want to deliver videos over 5000px in width. Can i do it?If there is a limits on size of video, could you tell me a reference or a help file that describe the spec.Regards,

Hello,I'm using AMS ver 5.I want to run server-side scripted application (for custome authentication logic) and my server is origin / edge structure.I bought AMS Standard Licence for these servers, but I met the following error.2014-03-12 00:11:30 12763 (e)2651379 (_defaultRoot_, _defaultVHost_) : Application (mylive) is not a valid signed application; loading access denied. -Then I think that i have to buy Professional License.My Questions are1. Is this correct? Do I have to buy professional licenses to write custom server-side script (like main.asc)?2. If so, do I have to buy professional licenses not only for origins, but also for all edge servers?  In other words, does my app can run with Professional License on origins, and Standard Licence on edges? Professional License is so expensive than standard, and I have many edge servers, so I don't want to buy professional licenses for my all servers.Thanks,

Hello,We're using FMIS 4.5 exclusively for recording streams from webcams via RTMP. We don't have a lot of load currently, maybe a couple hundred videos being recorded every day. Every 1 or 2 days the FMS starts logging "The FLV segment cache is full" and refuses to record anymore until a restart. I've adjusted the cache setting to the max for Linux:SERVER.FLVCACHE_MAXSIZE=3000I suspect that it's putting everything recorded into the cache, and refuses to record anymore when the cache is full. Why is it doing this? The files are written to disk, why won't the data be evicted from the cache? Am I misunderstanding what's happening?Thanks for your help.

I have this application that connects to an AMS instance over RTMP and, using NetStream.publish, I stream a video to the server for storage and playback.99% of the time this works, but every so often, a video will be saved with a size of 15KB or less. These videos are corrupted and cannot be played back.Then, suddenly, none of the videos would stream properly, and they all kept coming out with a size of 1KB. I had to restart the server, and the issue cleared up. All users could get Net.Connection.Success events, so they could connect to the server just fine, they just couldn't stream their videos to the server.Why does this happen? Hi,I'm using a recent version of CamTwist and the newest Flash Media Live Encoder on OS X Mavericks. FMLE does not find the CamTwist video device and tells me there is none on startup. This isn't right because the CamTwist device is found correctly by all other apps (Skype etc.).So what's wrong here and how do I fix this?
