Hi, how did you format the external disk? Donor use EXFAT , only transfer disks between pc and Mac's should use that. smart objects default to using the startup disk.

Hi, could you try reset Photoshop's preferences manually by dragging the preferences folder to the desktop. This way you can copy them back to as you've set it up: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually This way, you'll see its footprint when only the default presets are loaded.

Hi, there is a preference for that. Edit > Preferences > Advanced (Windows) or Adobe Bridge > Preferences > Advanced (macOS) and enable "Generate Monitor-Size Previews".

FYI, I use 26.6 at work, no choice, and CTRL+3, 4... works to change the colors, in the image>Selective Color. CTRL+1 and CTRL+0 does scale the interface.

Even, as a seasoned user, one can have the issue: I rename folder 1, then change folder, why can't there be an option in batch rename to continue the numbering as now, OR to reset the numbering to 1? I imported a month of holidays pictures, why should they continue the numbering for each day?

Hi, first I would recommend against removing watermarks and editing copyrighted images. Do not post them online to avoid litigation! I would open the image on camera raw from bridge or convert to smart object and use camera raw as a filter. I'd lower the saturation and vibrance and lower the color temperature to start.

Hi, could you provide screenshots? it is not clear wether windows goes to sleep, locks to the screensaver, or even when simply opening another app ? Does Photoshop get minimized? Do you know the Ctrl+0 shortcut or the double click on the zoom tool (hold shift to affect all documents)

Hi, I assume that you are using the latest version, it is supposed to adapt automatically: while versions prior to 2023 require a preference change: Edit > Preferences > Type(Windows) or Photoshop > Preferences > Type (macOS). In the Choose Text Engine Options section, select World-Ready Layout. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/arabic-hebrew.html if you have the latest version, maybe reset the text tool via a right click on its icon in the option bar.
