Photoshop Elements

[1] When I open a RAW photo with Elements the first thing I see is a nice panel of controls on the right side of the screen that I will call PANEL A, shown in the screenshot below --To close this workspace, I click a little button marked OPEN (right side of screen bottom) which saves the picture with any changes made with the controls on the right side of the screen, and then opens up a new set of controls, shown in the screen shot below, which I will call PANEL B QUESTION:  Is there a way to revert to PANEL A while in the PANEL B environment ?  

can I ugrade to element 2021 from elements 9 and keep my organizer files? 

I'd like to add a drop shadow to a subject. I don't see that option. If it's there, where do I find it?

The first thing I see when I open a raw file is the environment shown in the picture below, with a set of nicely displayed controls shown on the right hand side of the screen.. QUESTION:  I would like to be able to edit JPG files with this same nicely formatted set of controls.  Is this possible, and if yes, how can I do it ? 

I want to print a 4x6. After preparing the photo to size I pick print Select the 4x6 paper size and my 4x6 photo does not fill the 4x6 frame shown and prints more like a 3.75x 5.25 0n the 4x6. So far all setting I have tried have not solved the problen unless I print from my printer. HP 7155. Using  Photoshop elementsn2019

Hi,need to install Camera Raw Version 12.2 or higher in Photoshop Elements 2020, because of new Nikon D780. Installaion of Photoshop Elements 2020 worked well. Downloaded Camera Raw 12.2.1Installation runs without failure, but PSE still shows Camera Raw Version 12.0What to do ??

Ok.  I'm a Photoshop Infant.  I have lots of Ancestor photos in rough chronological order under their own People Tags.  My siblings want copies, & I want to delete some. But when I copy them to a stick and open the stick, they're all out of order and I lose the captions. Can someone tell me how to correct either of these issues?

Just out of curiosity, and to solve a nagging tought at the back of my brain, in what order does Elements decide to do its backup, largest first, smallest first, date created/imported, file name or type or any other criteria?  Or is it totally random? Not vastly important in the scheme of things, but I just wonderedjohn

Hi. Any advice before I ditch Photoshop after a dozen years? 2020 and 2021 versions of Photoshop elements loads and works (usually) without a problem, but when I close the Mac at the end of the end, it system hangs. Checking the crash logs, I get messages like this. I have switched off the infuriating Autocreations, but...  If I remove Photoshop, the computer behaves normally. When I re-install, though, the crashes reucr. Just upgraded from PSE15 to PSE21.Default catalogue was converted like I expected.Now I would like to open another catalogue on my mobile USB hdd but no catalogue is displayed (in the folder where it was the day before in PSE15).  PSE15 already removed, how can I retrieve the catalogue? I am afraid importing the image file to an empty catalogue would damage the tag structure? Thanks for help. Klaus  

From Googling various sites and using the directions from Adobe for installation, I've managed to install ScriptListener for Windows 64 into PSE 2019 and it is recoding.  PSE placed the log file on the desktop with a .log extension.  However I've not been able to execute the script.  If I place the file in the PSE Actions sub-folder and give it an .atn extension PSE states it is not compatible with this version.  How do you run the script?

I'm trying to import my photo library to Photoshop Elements 2020. It starts the process and imports a lot of photos, but then freezes on a .mov file. It imports some (most) .mov files, but consistently fails on others. It doesn't give me the option to skip the file and carry on, it just freezes. See attached screen shot. I'm running Windows 10. Has anyone else seen this? Also is there any way at all to contact Adobe directly toget support? Thanks

Where there used to be image thumbnails for tiff files saved from Photoshop Elements 15, they are now only icons with "tiff" written on it. Viewer options are set to "show thumbnail" in Preferences, but it doesn't work. Computer is a Mac OSX 10.11.6. Any help on resolving this would be appreciated.

According to the page "Cameras supported by Camera Raw" the NRW format used by my Nikon Coolpix P1000 is supported by plugin version 11.1 Can't figure out how to download this plugin... searched and could not find.  Will much 'preciate help. -Bob  

Hello,I have 128,000 pictures in my Organizer and am running out of storage.  Have 1tb plus 250gb of SSD on my present laptop which has done me well for many years, but now down to 10gb left.  Therefore, I wonder if anyone can recommend any laptop, must have very fast specifications because I am a professional photographer constantly using Elements, including weddings.   I also like it to be a small monitor, so I can carry it around, say 13 or 14 inch size.  So, top of the range specifications, SSD obviously, small, but 2tb.  Thank you.

After using Instant Fix in Organiser I cannot return to Organiser without closing down and re-starting. This is an old problem, but the solution has been removed or the link to it has been changed.Can anyone help - it may be something to do with string in Register?

Does the version of Photoshop Elements Student Editon, expire after the study period?

I am using PSE 2020 in Windows 10. I have a collection of several cloud brush sets. Some of them contain only 1, 2, or 3 clouds while others have 10 to 15 clouds. Is it possible to combine all of these brush sets into one larger brush file (abr)? How do I do this? 

Photo Zoom Pro 8 is useful for high quality resizing in my old Photoshop.I don't see it in Photoshop Elements 2021.I recently re-installed Photo Zoom Pro 8, hoping it would "see" my Photoshop Elements 2021 and install itself there. That didn't work. And apparently Photoshop Elements 2021 did not "see" my Photo Zoom Pro 8 when Elements installed. Are the two programs incompatible? Save for Web works reasonably well for me in Elements, but PhotoZoom seemed to be a more sophisticated image resizer, and I would like to use Photo Zoom Pro 8 in Photoshop Elements 2021 if that is possible. Is there a way to do that?

Hi....     Is anyone else having this issue?  Im not able to paste into a selected layer. The option is greyed out and the shortcut does nothing.

Plz help!After I edit an image, save the file, close the edit screen, return to organizer, an hourglass appears instead of the recently edited image. If I double click on the image, it then does appaer a single image in the larger size. When I return to my catalog...the hourglass appears instaed of the image.  ANY ideas??Thanks for any help!

Most functions in Elements (2021.2) doesen't work on the cintiq (latest model: dec 2020)! Can't use the Pen for drawing and only half of the buttons are working!  (with a full Photoshop Version, it worked perfekt before).Can somenone help???

Most of my  (25k) image files now have event, people and/or keyword tags, but I still have a lot which are duplicated - images of a which a copy has been saved under a different name and/or in a different folder. Often this has been to send smaller copies to friends or printing services. As a result I still have a lot which are tagged ONLY as "possible duplicates", as well as many having this in addition to other tags.  Firstly, am I correct in thinking that if I simply delete the "possible duplicates" keyword tag, and then find untagged items (ctrl shift Q) I will identify the ones I haven't yet given any other tags to, without affecting the tags on all the rest?    Then ideally I would like to be able to check if they ARE in fact true duplicates (e.g. same file size etc) or compressed versions, and make a decision as to deleting them.  But at present I don't see a way to do this....
