Hi Adobe Community, I’m running into an issue when using Generative AI on the iPad versions of Lightroom and Photoshop. I’m working on portrait photos where the model only has exposed shoulders—absolutely no nudity or explicit content; the model is draped with a sheet and nothing private is visible. When I try to use AI tools to extend her hair or make small edits, the software gives me an error or says the content violates Adobe’s guidelines. I also cannot edit the background, like adding a vase of flowers. Has anyone else encountered this with non-nude portrait photography? Are there any workarounds to allow edits like extending hair or adding background elements while staying within Adobe’s guidelines? Thanks in advance for any advice!
I want to create a repeat tile image in the mobile version of PS, for a repeat print however this tool is only available on desktop.
Tomo foto con cámara Sony formato raw, la edito en Lightroom the iPad, la paso a photoshop y no me permite usar la opción licuar
I have a brush asset from Adobe in my CC library. I can use it in desktop photoshop. I see it in the cc library on my iPad. But in iPad photoshop, there is only a set name, but any brushes inside. My other assets are here and can be used. What can I do to see and use a brush set in iPad photoshop?
It may not be feasible (at least for now) to add Liquify to Photoshop on the iPad, but how about Transform> Warp as a workaround? (Being able to manipulate an image using Liquify — or Warp — is a basic image editing feature.)
I was trying to select the sole of a shoe, but I'm on iPad, and there is no magnetic lasso tool on the iPadOS version of photoshop. Is there any alternative methods?
Hello!I have set the "stylus only painting" option in my setting but i can still use many tools with my finger. How to disable finger for tools? Also, why no Apple Pencil hover?
Hi everyone, since the latest Photoshop for iPad update, I’ve been having a persistent issue with the Liquify tool. It works perfectly fine when I open it and use the default brush size (100) — but as soon as I change the brush size, the tool completely stops responding. It doesn’t crash the app, but it just stops applying any distortion — no matter how I move my Apple Pencil or finger. If I reset the brush size back to 100, it still doesn’t work anymore until I restart Photoshop. Here’s what I’ve already tried:– Restarted the iPad– Reinstalled Photoshop– Cleared cache / checked storage– Tried different files and formats (8-bit, 16-bit, different resolutions)– Checked Pencil pressure and smoothing settings Nothing fixed the issue. It happens every time the brush size is changed. My setup:– iPad Pro (M4)– iPadOS (18.7.1)– Photoshop for iPad (6.6.2)– Apple Pencil Pro Would really appreciate if the Adobe team could confirm whether this is a known issue and if
I just installed Photoshop iPad 6.6. Can someone explain what has changed as I can't find/see anything new? Thanks.
Please add a polygonal lasso tool for PS on iPad. Or implement a lasso tool as Adobe Fresco has. Right now it is pretty challenging to make straight selections with available tools. So I find myself using Fresco instead of Photoshop whenever I can.
Adobe - PLEASE make Photoshop iPhone available on iPad. Inasmuch as Photoshop iPad is DEAD - no feature updates in 20 months notwithstanding a minor remove tweak. Photoshop iPhone has numerous features which are not available on the iPad. Thanks for listening. BTW, Photoshop iPad was released six years ago in october and no guides/rulers and shapes..
Device: iPad Air (5th Gen) running iPadOS 17.2. Stylus: Apple Pencil (USB-C) - A3085 Photoshop for iPad version: 5.4 (20231204.515) When using my Apple Pencil in the Photoshop for iPad app, my brush strokes do not show up on the screen until I lift my Apple Pencil off of the screen. When using my finger, my brush strokes show up as I make them. Of course this makes the creative process difficult because you can't see where your brush stroke has been unless you lift your pencil off of the screen. I have completed the following troubleshooting steps: Tried this with my wife's Apple Pencil (same model) on her iPad (10th Gen) and hers does the same thing. Unpaired and repaired my Apple Pencil Restarted my iPad Uninstalled and reinstalled the Photoshop for iPad app. I tried the "Stylus only painting" option both on and off with the same results. I have searched high and low online and have seen others with this same issue, but no resolution. I'm 100
Adobe has launched a full-featured mobile app for Photoshop, offering a desktop-like editing experience on the iPhone. The app includes layering, masking, and Firefly-powered generative fill. An Android version is forthcoming. The web application has been updated with enhanced selection, adjustment, and color correction features, allowing for seamless cross-platform project work.Adobe is developing AI agents for Photoshop and Premiere Pro, designed to simplify and accelerate the editing process. These agents will offer context-aware suggestions and execute photo and video edits based on natural language prompts. What are your thoughts about it?
YES. iOS is updated to latest versionYES. Crayon works in every other program with no lagWHATS GOING ON: ONLY in Photoshop for iPad, when you draw with the crayon, you will not see the line or whatever it is you drew until you lift the stylus off the screen. you make a circle? you get nothing on screen until you lift the stylus off. Draw a line? nothing, until you lift the stylus off the screen. what if you use your finger? then it works like normal, seeing whatever it is you are making in real time. no lag, no delays. how do i fix this? I am subscribed to photoshop and it's un-usable in this state.
Hi,Can anyone tell me where to find pattern preview in the Ps app for iPad? I am fairly new to Photoshop, and would appreciate any help.
When I tap the B&W button in ACR on the iPad, the image converts to grayscale, as expected, but I don't have any control over the luminance values for the various colors found under Color Mix. The only way I've found to get this control is to adjust the color image in ACR, open it into PS, then apply a B&W adjustment layer. Shouldn't tapping the B&W button cause the Color Mix panel to morph into the B&W Mixer panel the way it does on the desktop? Am I missing something?
I installed the Photoshop Camera on my iPhone and iPad. The two are not sync-ed; that is to say, photos I take on my iPhone do not appear on my iPad. But that is a side issue. My question is, how can I import the photos taken on my iPhone into Photoshop and/or Lightroom on my iMac desk top? Thank you.
I have an iMac running Ventura 13.1, an iPad Air 5th Gen, an iPen 2 and Photoshop v 24.1.1 installed on my Mac. I enabled screen mirroring to the iPad. I get the warning above, Pen Pressure requires the use of a pressure sensitive tablet. None of the pressure sensitive brushes show any pressure sensitivity. I think it has something to do with the warning. I know pressure sensitivity works, because I have Procreate installed on my iPad, and the pressure sensitive brushes work with my iPen. Is this feature not supported yet? Does a setting exist to remove this warning and enable pressure sensitivity? Does anyone have pressure sensitivity working with this hardware configuration? Thanks.
I use Smart Objects extensively as I edit photos, since it gives an incredible degree of flexibility. Smart filters mean that I can always go back and don’t damage the pixels in my images.
It would be great if Photoshop for iPad supported iPadOS 13’s new multiple application instances (windows) feature. This would allow users to open multiple Photoshop documents within different Photoshop windows.Architecting Your App For Multiple Windows - Apple
Hi,I'm a fashion illustrator who now creates my layered sketches on my iPad Pro, then exports them to my Creative Cloud Files as a .PSD file. Then I openThen I open the .PSD file on my desktop's Photoshop and add colors, patterns and fills to complete each final sketch. Does anyone know or can recommend an iPad Adobe App which can allow me to do the second part of my work flow on my iPad?Ideally, I would like to bypass the desktop and stay within the iPad's ecosystem to do this work.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Sincerely,Patrick
I would love to be able to control what color space and bit depth that I am working in.
