Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a sequence from a file with a suitable audio track, open Captions Workspace, Click Transcribe, and accept the default. Result: Nothing happens - Expected: The same sequence in 15.4.1 works perfectly This is the result after waiting 15 minutes. The activity monitor also shows Premiere Pro doing nothing but resting. With the latest Adobe Premiere Pro Beta build we have enabled Hardware Accelerated Encoding through Nvidia GPU card. If you have Nvidia GPU card on your Windows machine, you will be able to use this feature. To enable this option, select H.264/HEVC from the Format drop-down under Export Settings. Then under the Video tab, go to Encoding Settings and set the Performance to Hardware Encoding. Setting it to Software Encoding will disable hardware encoding and Adobe Premiere Pro won't use Nvidia HW to encode the media. Please see attached screenshot. Feature is enabled in Adobe Premiere Pro Beta , Adobe Media Encoder Beta and Adobe Premiere Rush. Please try out the feature and share your feedback. [Image embedded by mod]
This is so incredibly frustrating. But for some reason, even though there are fields avaialable for camera make/model and lens even, selecting them to view is TOTALLY useless. No data appears! In this day and age, with so many heavily meta-based camera formats from RED, Arri, BlackMagic, Sony & Canon, we need to be able to sort and batch things by camera model! We can't even search by camera model! Please, please please, fix this immediately! Sincerely, R. Neil Haugen
I scrub though tons of content in thumbnail view. Usually it takes a little bit for it to go through the "Media Pending" and then I can scrub through pretty quick. After this last update, it is now taking FOREVER to scrub over 1 clip. I'm going to have to switch off of Beta to continue editing because it's killing my speed so much.
How do I import new clips with the new import panel without making a new sequence in an existing project. Is this even possible, or am I missing something. I don't see a way to disable Create New Sequence. BTW the beta does not draw very well on a 4K monitor W10.
Same footage converted to prores no problem So guessing this is a codec issue? I have 4 projects with old dv footage: non of them show in the import window.
on IMacPro OSX 10.14.6 , premierePro 22.0 beta immediately crashes on startup, before showing anything ... no detailed error that could help investigating .. nothing...only the ..send report... what i did. What are the requirements for this version ? Did I miss something doing in advance ?
This effect was brought to my attention today, decided to check it out. Likely won't have to use it much myself, but I can see this being handy for tons of folks: A more expanded version of the TC generator, very nice! That said, one thing I recalled about the current TC generator isthat... it isn't very great at generating timecode, and I noticed this new beta effect still has the same issue. I specifically am referring to timecode conversions, and how it handles it (or the lack thereof). When selecting timebases other than the source timebase, it doesn't do any calculations or conversions, it just changes the target frame # at to which increment the seconds counter, resulting in differing real time values. (iex 00;00;10;15 in 29.97 DF is 00:00:13:03 in 23.976 as opposed to 00:00:10:12.). I guess it's just doing [Raw Frame #] / [Timebase Choice] = Timecode. Just figured I'd mention it, could be something useful for someone one day if corrected! Or maybe I'm missing some
We have some improvements to English, German and French transcription in the latest version of Premiere Pro (Beta). Please test it out on your own footage and give us feedback. We hope you will notice improvements in these key areas: - Speaker separation (Speaker 1 vs Speaker 2) is more accurate. - The new engine can support more pop culture references (e.g. famous people, brand names, art). - In addition, numbers are written in proper format: Years (2017) Dates (September 5th) Money ($15.30) Time (9.20 a.m.) Quantity/measurement (2000 miles) Check it out and let us know if you still need to make corrections for speakers, numbers, and pop culture.
Checked out the beta again, and things seem to be moving along well! Kudos to the team! I know the big focus on the new version is Import, Export, and Toolbar. My feedback below is just 1 specific thing from each category that I think needs addressing before it goes primetime. 1.) Import: Ingest SettingsThe Import workflow has a "Import settings" panel, and that's great! However I believe it is missing the best possible feature that can be leveraged here, and that are Ingest settings. Adding options for copy/transcode/create proxy/rename/etc. would be fantastic here. Currently, we'd have to import media the old way to take advantage of this, which bypasses the new workflow entirely. 2.)Export: Crop/Scale optionsWhile not the backbone of every export, I consider it to be a core part of the export environment. Being able to perform an on-export scale or crop is in my opinion, critical, despire how infrequently some may use it. There's plenty of UI space for it too! (above the p
Any updates and ETA on the Prores Raw White Balance and Tint settings?
I forced myself to update last week because my project files were crashing immediately as I opened them. When I updated it fixed that problem but introduced new ones that came with the new update. Before I already had this issue where if you export a sequence, while it's exporting/done it'll automatically take you back to the first sequence in the timeline rather than the one you just exported which is a minor annoyance but what I have noticed since the update is a bigger deal. Now there are glitches in exporting when it comes to video and audio. I have noticed that certain audio clips won't be clipping when I am editing in the timeline but when I export, those clips will now be clipping and will actually do weird things to the audio around it. Usually it will do it when I use "woosh" sound effects for special effect. The other glitch I have noticed is that certain transitions like the cross zoom will change positions right before ending. Almost as if the transitio
Just updated to today's beta build (7/29/21) and noticed that I need to convert the project file. Any particular reason for this? I didn't see anything in the what is new pop up.
RECEIVED BAD NETWORK RESPONSE
With Premiere Pro V22.0 the option within media export, scale, stretch and fit to frame is missing. This is handy for the old SD formats!
click on export from premiere and go to click on send to media encoder and just nothing happens. consistly has happened for the last several hours. got it to stop for a little while but now back not working
Hi, I've noticed that you it seems you are unable to select multiple clips at once from the new create new project window which would make the process a lot longer having to manually click on on all of the items needed in the project. Also, is there a way to import and create specific bins to put these in to help with project media management? Regards,
Hello, please see this screenshot : In creative cloud, I have downloaded an MP4 file from Premiere Pro.I have an iMac with Mac OS Big Sur 11.5.2 and Safari 14.1.2.If I try to play the MP4 file in Safari, in full screen mode, I have a problem of display : the video file does not go full screen but only a part of the screen, because around the video I have a blank space at the top and at the right of the image (see screenshot).
Hi, I am translating using google translator, I apologize for grammatical errors.I downloaded the Beta version of Adobe Premiere Pro CC2022, there is some flicker in the videos when I play the videos after installation, this is often very noticeable when I put the panorama shots, the 2nd problem is Ctr + Alt + Shift When I reopen using Sapphire, the video transitions go to the video effects section, and re-installing Sapphiere (2021_51) still doesn't solve the problem, What should I do?OS: Windows 11 ProCpu: Core i9 9900KGpu: RTX 2060Super Game reader driverPlease help me solve my problems.
When the auto-transcription service completes its thing and I have it make subtitles/captions, it adds an auto-line break somewhere between 25 and 40 characters in. And this is not the 'wrap' for the text box, it ignores the text box, and happens even if it's already wrapped. Making a short middle line. Leaving out the last couple words of the text. And it is normally in the wrong place. I use supposedly the two-line option for captions/subtitles, which actually quite often makes a THREE line caption. Partly because it will break the first line, give a few characters on the second line, then break again. Look at the following two examples of original and fixed ... and I fixed by simply removing the auto-line break. Original transcribed captions ... Note that it's three lines with a break after 'system' for some reason, though it already "broke" (wrapped) on "this" for line one. And the last bit of the caption "... well together" is left out, not sh
It's been two months and the include captions on import preference is still broken. Check it or uncheck it, if the media has embedded 608/708 captions, the import time of the media takes a long time to import into Premiere. I have detailed this issue in the other Prerelease forum under Bug ID - DVAPR-4232208. Today I tested 3 versions of Premiere to see if this is still an issue.Version 14.9.1 (build 1) you do not see this slow import issue.Version 15.4.0 (build 47) you do see this slow import problem.Beta Version 22.0.0 (build 51) you do see this slow improt problem. For example, importing 16 ProRes feature films with embedded 608/708 captions leaves Premiere in an unresponsive state for hours while it chews through reading the captions. The workaround response from engineering is to use a file with "a contiguous block of captions" vs interleaved captions. Can you tell me how I request that from the Hollywood studios that have embedded their featur
This is funny: brought back just to end up in the Obsolete bin? Btw its in 15.4 too.
Multiple source clip message preventing application of lumetri colour at source. this seems like a bug as the usual fixes of ungrouping, unlinking, unlocking tracks do not seem to work. How do you continually select clips out side of the timeline anyway? seems like a bug
Nomatter how I select my clips, alt-select, trurning off linked selection, ungroup, unlink, unlock track, etc. when i select a video file it keeps showing up as multiple clips selected. This is true across sequences and I'm unable to edit my BRAW settings. [Moderator note: title modded for assistance to dev team.]
