Color labels are a great way to avoid wrong cuts in your sequence. Sometimes an ISO is switched by accident for a long time, visual 'color' check avoids this accidents. When using a multiclip though, the color labels of the individual angles are not displayed. In attached jpeg an example. The left segment is a multclip, with a few cuts to different angles.the right segment is a copy of the left segment, but flattened the multiclip. note; Productions misses the checkbox: 'display the product item name and label color for all instances' Thanx!!
With the latest Adobe Premiere Pro Beta build we have enabled Hardware Accelerated Encoding through AMD GPU card. If you have AMD GPU card on your Windows machine, you will be able to use this feature. To enable this option, select H.264/HEVC from the Format drop-down under Export Settings. Then under the Video tab, go to Encoding Settings and set the Performance to Hardware Encoding. Setting it to Software Encoding will disable hardware encoding and Adobe Premiere Pro won't use AMD HW to encode the media. Please see attached screenshot. Feature is enabled in Adobe Premiere Pro Beta, Adobe Media Encoder Beta and Adobe Premiere Rush. Please try out the feature and share your feedback.
Upon startup, if I move the "open" screen to a different monitor with different resolution, the scale (on screen) is incorrect. A window drag resizes fixes it.
There seems to be a missing preset in Render & Replace. Would love to see Adobe add "ProRes Proxy" preset to "Render & Replace" feature. ProRes Proxy is what I use for my video previews in sequence settings, so it makes no sense that it's not available as an option in Render & Replace. It's a very easy preset for Adobe to add. This will be specially helpful for people who use Smart Rendering & use ProRes Proxy video previewsin sequence settings Why is this important? Because if my clip codec matches my video preview sequence settings, it completely removes any color bars from video and playback is perfectly smooth:(look at clip on right compared to clip on left....clip on right doesn't even have any color on work bar because its codec matches my sequence video preview settings) So yea, would be awesome if Premiere Pro added ProRes Proxy as a preset for "render and replace" since I use ProRes Proxy for my sequence video previews settings.
Both Beta and non-beta version of Premiere Pro are missing the "display the project item name and item label color for all instances" under file > project settings when working with "Productions". This sucks because there's a cool plugin called "Labels Pro" that lets you easily color label items in Pr, but it doesn't work in Productions since Productions doesn't have the "display the project item name and item label color for all instances" option. Read about it here: https://rendertom.gitbook.io/labelsppro/known-issues#targeting-sequence-clips-does-not-work Please add "Display the project item name and label color for all instances" to Productions.
Bug in recent release versions: If log out of Vimeo, cannot log back in. This may be AME rather than PR, but I am reporting the crash when starting from PR. AME uservoice bug: https://adobe-video.uservoice.com/forums/911308-media-encoder/suggestions/40445803-vimeo-cannot-connect Thread in PR forum: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/can-t-log-into-vimeo-upload-directly-to-vimeo-from-premiere-cc/m-p/11138281#M271557 This is not the same as the problem reported in 2017. In this Beta, log in works, but then crashes. Steps to reproduce:1. Export from PR using publish to Vimeo, starting with Vimeo not connected/logged in. 2. When log in, it does go to Vimeo, log in is successful, and you can "authorize." (This does not work in the release versions.) 3. After authorize to Vimeo, PR/Export Settings window is greyed out. 4. Clicking in PR on task bar, or in another test, on the export settings window results in crash. 5. Crash reports submitted - late August an
In Premiere Pro, "Remove Attributes" works at the local level in the effects controls, but does not work with the Master settings in the effects controls, in both cc2020 and this Beta version (v14.4.0 build 28).
as I can see with mutliple XDCAM-HD422 disks , copied to the local storage as well, the playback is always asyncronous 1 frame. The audio is always, reproducable, 1 frame ahead of the video. This is in regular playback, and, at stepping through the timeline frame-by-frame .It is independend from the audiodevice...regardless mme or ASIO or internal soundcard. That should be fixed in the releaseversion .
Render In to Out is missing and replaced with Render Entire Work Area. This render selection does not provide the same results. If this omission is intentional, I beleive it to be a less than desireable decision by the development team.
connecting (for example) a MOTU-MicrobookII to PremierePro, and selecting ASIO as hardwaredevice (instead of MME...multichannel and latency reasons) , there is a bug in the last line of "outputMapping".The last 2 entries in my case should be "Aux 1-2 1" and "Aux 1-2 2" , but instead, the second to last line "Aux 1-2 1" will be doubled and shown as well as the last entry.Same for the last column , where the trackselection is shown. And on top, I cannot grab the last button there (Trackselection) to drag it somewhere else .Every line from the first to the penultimate is working well ,and shows the correct values.... the last line has unfortunately a bug to be fixed (because we need this AUX-Setting).
Reverted the app back to 14.3.2 and it seems to work as expected. There also seems to be a bug with SED on longer clips. Will often cause a crash. Still pinning down the exact circumsances.
I have succesfully install and can use Pro Beta on my machine but not sure if this new version will work on this machine after public releasing date? Thanks System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v14.4.0.25 OS: Windows v10.0.19041, RAM: 4.00 GB, CPUs (logical): 2
Steps to reproduce: 1. ...run scene detection Result: ...not many shot changes found, and the edits that are added are incorrect. Not actual shot changes.Expected: ...all shot changes found We were using this on multicam sequences (on a Line cut with many shot changes) and it worked perfectly. On the latest beta the options menu changed from what's shown in the what's new section. No more sensitivity option. and at the top it says it will work on flattened footage. It didn't use to say that. So I guess you took out the ability to work on a multicam sequence. But it was working beautifully before! Every since the latest Premiere update (regular update and beta) .. I can't play native 4k h264 footage anymore. It's very choppy (mainly when I have two clips on top of each other on separate tracks). I even tried 1/4 resolution and still choppy - unusable. I never had these issues before update. I've had multiple layers with effects with no problems. PLEASE FIX ASAP!!
Updated 19 August 2020 Exciting HDR news! We are proud to announce that we are testing an HLG HDR workflow in Premiere Pro. Work natively in Rec. 2100 HLG with the added sequence working color space option. Apple ProRes and Sony XAVC Intra are both fully color managed and GPU accelerated throughout the HDR pipeline. This is not just one feature; this is a set of features that will allow you to import, edit, and export HLG content in Premiere Pro. HDR is a complex area and this is a work in progress so we would appreciate your feedback. Below are some quickstart instructions to get you up and running quickly. Read on for even more detail. Quickstart Add some HLG media to your project. Currently, we support ProRes or XAVC-Intra formats. This has been an issue for a few years in Premiere. It may be a bit niche but it's one that is pretty annoying. Steps to reproduce: - System Dual monitor setup with one "normal DPI (~72ppi)" and one "high DPI (4k)" Display : An image of my dual monitor setup. - Drag a bin or other premiere window into a second display (dual monitor interface) - Turn on transmit - Transmit does not properly scale to one display but instead bleeds into your primary workspace. The transmit issue is just one of the issues Premier has in a mixed DPI setting. I would love if Premiere was DPI independent and scaled it's windows properly no matter what display they were on. The interface always awkwardly scales on whatever display is not the OS "primary" DPI setting. I.E. The interaces appears somewhat less sharp. Other modern apps such as Chrome and Windows Exploer manage but Premiere and other Adobe apps have had a hard time with a mixed DPI environment. Defin

Hello, It's great to implement Working Color Space in Sequence Settings, with Rec. 709 and Rec. 2100 HLG, but we also need Rec. 2020, (and maybe Rec.601). F.V.
Hello, I have a Timeline with Effects and Transitions in Premiere Pro Beta. I'd like to export this, as an XML if possible, to Resolve 16 so that all the individual Clips are kept separate. Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks in advance. Regards,Rajnesh
