Premiere Elements

I'm trying to do something that, in my mind, should be simple, but it's proving difficult.I have edited the audio of my project. This consists of some video (which appears in the Video 1/Audio 1 timeline) and lots of music, which I've put alternately in the Audio 1 timeline and the Music timeline, so that I can do mixes and fades between the music. This has worked nicely.Now I just want to cover the whole thing with lots of still images. But when I try to put a still image in, for example, Video 2 timeline, this starts affecting the music clips in the music timeline, creating white gaps inside music clips. This, of course, messes up the whole audio edit I've already done.I just want to slap lots of still images on top of the edit without effecting anything I've already done.Anyone know what I have to do, please?

Hello,I'm using Premier Elements 15 to create a video. I have all the footage on now some with narration. I've started to add some music to it. When I added the first piece it went on at the beginning of the video where I have some narration but I didn't want the music there. I edited the music to where i wanted it but the narration from the beginning has gone. Is there any way I can get it back and how do I go about adding the music to a section, so that this doesn't happen again?Hope you can helpThanks

I've recorded countless gaming video games (xbox one) on my Elgato HD60 S and transferred them to edit on the Premiere Elements 15 with no problem. However, recently when I try to edit them there is no sound playing through my editing program (Premiere) yet the sound files are showing available. Anyone have a solution?

I have created a ton of motion Titles on my computer. The problem is I need to save them onto a shared server so other people can have access to them on their computers. How do I go about doing this? It doesn't make sense for each person to try are recreate the uniform motion titles I have taken the time to create. (I'm using elements 15)Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I did something to my settings bc it take a long time to load my videos on youtube it wasn't like that last time its a lot slower now. I don't know what settings were messed with

Why now that my C: drive crashed and my back up failed, I installed a clean install of win 10. Premiere Elements 14 crashes upon start up unless started in administrator mode. I think it crashes when starting Quick Time? What version of Quick time is needed?

I have been used the SD card 45MB/s to record my video and work well in Adobe Premiere Elements 11 for editing, recently i have used another SD card with 95MB/s to record my video,  it functions the video is normal but the sound signals disappeared, so can you tell me where is the peoblem!Thank you

i am using Premiere Elements 15.  I have seen others post about having difficulty getting beat detect to set beat markers that are accurate, but I have not seen any solutions to this problem.  I am having this same problem.  I have tried changing the time between beats, the difference, and the window sliders, but nothing I do seems to work.  The beat markers it sets seem to have no relevance to my song.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello,I have been using Adobe Elements to edit video for a while now with a conventional microphone. I recently bought a Rode NT-USB microphone, and now whenever I try to narrate, I get the message 'audio dropout detected'.I know the mic is working, the little multicolor mic sensitivity bar is jumping back and forth with my speech, and the audio file shows up in the window. But when i try to play it back I get 'audio dropout detected' and no sound at all. I plugged the old conventional mic back in, and it worked fine. I also recorded sound using microsoft sound recorder on the new usb mic, and it worked fine.Thank you for the help.

When I try to play a previously edited video in elements 14 the soundtrack (music) is silent even though it shows on the time line, any ideas what the problem is?[Moved from the non-technical LOUNGE Forum to a Program forum... I have some VHS tapes I wish to convert to video then edit in PE15. Is their a compatible device available to transfer the VHS tapes in real time to PE15 or will I have to generate a file of the tape first then edit it in PE15?Many thanks.Ralph

Intel I5, Windows 10, 8GB Ram, 2GB dedicated video card.Reproduction of any Presentation is interrupted continuously.This regardless of the size and number of images and theme choice.If the presentation is exported to MP4 format, playback is perfect.I thank someone for suggestions

My old Sony DV camera, DCR TRV950E,  is not being picked up by Premier Elements. I have tried version 8 and 15 but no joy. I have tried connecting using firewire and USB. How can I persuade the software to  recognise the camera?

A video that I had in my phone I downloaded to my computer , trim the video , saved to mobil and them saved back to my cellular, now when I watch the video in my cellular vertically shows the imagen top to bottom is ok but them left to right  is really narrow impossible to see it and if I turn the cellular horizontal  is too small ,don't know how to fix this problem, Thanks, Armando

I have two people speaking in one audio track of a video.  One is asking interview questions, the other answering.  I want to completely eliminate the interviewer asking questions -their waveform and just leave the person's voice answering the questions.  Is this possible? How?  I'm going nuts.

I have some 30 hours of archival video worked on P/E7 and windows XP, which I wish to rework using windows 10.   An upgrade package is offered by Adobe but it  seems to only upgrade from a higher version.   The upgrade for photoshop elements starts at F/S7 (which I also have,but do not wish to upgrade).   If I buy the upgrade, will I be able to rework all the old material? I am sending this again as I may have not entered the question correctly!   John

I have PE14 running on Win10-64bit and ATI Radeon 3000 (AMD Athlon II x4 640 with 8Gb RAM). Every now and then the display in the preview area goes grayscale and inverted (upside down), and sometimes it remains right-side-up, but dims out with negative colors (somewhat like looking at a negative for an old color photograph). This doesn't otherwise effect the operation of the program and videos export okay, but it is a nuisance.I haven't discovered any pattern to this failure, it sometimes happening after rendering, sometimes upon importing a new image to the timeline, and some days it never happens at all. The only way I've found to correct it is to close the project, and then reopen it.I've read other posts about problems with the preview panel. None of them seem to describe this same quirky behavior, but most of them seem to point to the video card or its drivers. I'd be willing to upgrade to a video card (e.g., Sapphire Radeon HD 6570 - not on Adobe's list of "Supported Devices"), o

Hi everyone, I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 11 on a mid 2012, '13 inch MacBook Pro with 4GB of Ram and a 500GB hard drive. I've tried to import some footage on a Sony HVR-A1E/A1P camcorder. Unfortunately when I try to open the DV camcorder import, Premiere Elements immediately crashes, leaving me unable to import the footage that I need to. I don;t have any other issues with Adobe Premiere Elements, other than the DV camera import. Thank you!

I'm using Premiere  Elements 14 on PCAll updates are good.Issue is this...when I go to used one of the Hollywood Effects and drag the effect to the video clip,the program locks up and I have to restart the program. Does this every single time.My PC has plenty of everything...able to run Adobe After Effects with no issues.So what gives?

I bought Premiere Elements 15 a few weeks ago but just now started using it but it is very hard as the fonts in the menus are too small to read. I am going blind trying to read them. I had Premiere and the whole interface was adjustable. I am running WIndows 10 on a laptop. Even going into the display settings for the laptop and changing the resolution and font sizes there (to 150%), the menu font in, for example Preferences, is still too small to read. Why can't I do this in Elements?JC

I just got a Sony a6300 camera and I will be doing video with it as well as stills. I don't like the 29 minute cap on recording time so I am thinking of getting a Ninja Blade recorder. Here are the codecs it records in:Codecs  Apple ProRes HQ, 422, LT  AVID DNxHD 220x, 220, 145, 36does anyone know if these can be edited in any PreEl programs?thanks

Just got my elements 15 disc which my PC (Windows) does not recognise. I understand that I must register and insert my unique serial number that was on the box but dont know where to go to register the product. Can anyone help?
