Premiere Elements

HelloI am hoping to add a slideshow created in Elements Organiser to a MP4 movie project created in Premiere Elements (11) where they will be burnt as part of the same project to a DVD - that is, the movie will play and end, and then the slideshow will begin immediately after the movie clip and end.From the Help files, I understand that I create the MP4 file and save it. Then I create the slideshow in Elements Organiser (I note that there is no 'Save As' under 'File' in Elements Organiser), so this file, the slideshow, is always 'open' and unsaved in Elements Organiser, so to speak. With this slideshow in Elements Organiser open, and my movie project in Premiere Elements also open, do I then go to File | Add media from | Elements Organiser in Premiere Elements and add my (as yet, uncreated) Elements Organiser file to the Timeline in Premiere Elements?The MP4 file has the same pixel dimensions as the slideshow photos as I have resized them all, and all the photos have the same resolutio

First of all I did something quite foolish. I purchased Premiere Elements 15 thinking it was Photoshop Elements 15. I didn't realize it until after I installed the software. It was working fine at that point though, but then I went back out to purchase Photoshop Elements 15 and after installing photoshop now premiere isn't working.I feel like a fool because I beat myself out of 50 bucks.[Moved from FAQ, which is not for questions, to regular forum... I have a screen recorder for my computer, recording at 1680,1050 and thats what Premiere elements is rendering out as. But no matter what there is an ugly black trim that makes the video look terrible.Ex. IM NOT USING THIS AS A SELF PROMOTION BUT AS MERELY AN EXAMPLETHANK YOU FOR 100 SUBSCRIBERS! - YouTube When you first click you can easily see that there is the ugly black trim.Anyone know how to fix??

In media view, Organizer 12 will only display a filmstrip icon, not the first frame of video, for MP4 files.  If I click on the file, it opens up fine in Organizer, but it is annoying not to be able to see the film clip instead of the filmstrip icon.  MOV files are just fine, as are JPG and etc.  I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on two Dell systems and have tried this on both:  exact same problem.  I uninstalled and reinstalled PPE several times.  A couple of others on here have indicated that they have the same problem and I tried all suggestions posted to date.  Any new suggestions?  Thanks.

Hello, I have just installed PE 7 trial and on the video editor area it displays: "Created with Adobe Premier Elements 7 trial version" Can this be removed whilst still trialing it? I received some customer service online from adobe and they said yes it can be without buying it and told me to call 1800 833 6687. That was a sales number and they couldn't help and technical support line is closed. Any info appreciated. Thank You!

I want to skip the main menu and have the DVD open straight to the scenes menu. Is it possible to delete the main menu all together in Premiere Elements 14? I looked at all the themes and they all have a main menu page. If thats not possible, could you set the main menu to open to the scene menu after a certain amount of time?

I have Premier Elements 10 installed on my Windows 10 laptop. I created a new project and put in all my videos/images. but when I go into the Share tab and click "Computer, Export files for viewing on computers" nothing happens. None of the other options do anything either except for "Tap" and "Web DVD" where I'm prompted with a pop up. I thought it was my video file that was not being supported, but it's an mp4 file so it should work. I've tried creating a different project with just a random mp4 file that I have but the Share options still do not work.Any clue why this is happening?

When creating a disc menu, the main menu page seems to be limited to three or four buttons, depending on the template. Is there a way to add a button to the main menu page, or to create a customized main menu page?

Why can't I drag video from my sd card in file explorer onto a project?? Also If I had started a project with files from a sd card, copied those to a external hard drive and deleted the clips that were on the sd card would the video project say the files are missing? If so could I just find them and tell it they are on my hard drive?

Hello!In my current project every picture gets a strange magenta tone. But only in the video window, the preview, the timeline miniture picture etc. have normal colors. I have a macbook pro retina with the newest software updates installed.If i start a new project and use the same pictures, the colors are normal. But i dont want to start anew, i put too much afford in this one already. Anybody an idea that could help?

When i shoot video in 2.7k 60fps 2704x1520 and try to apply shake reduction i receive the following message "Shake reduction requires clip dimension to match project settings" Is Adobe Premiere Elements 15 not compatible with this resolution setting.

We use Premier Elements in Belfast Zoo for education.  The product is licenced, but Premier Elements is having a 'computer says no' moment and says we are using a trial version, and puts this message across the middle of our videos.  It's damn annoying frankly!!I can't even find where I can re-enter the key to see if this helps.Any thoughts?

          Every time I export a file from Premiere elements 15 it selects My Documents folder for me by default.  How can I change that? I'm not seeing any options under preferences or settings.

HelloI was sent a .MOV file which I have converted to an MP4. When I open that MP4 clip on my desktop (Windows 10), I can hear the audio. But when I open Premier Elements 11 | Add Media, the video of that movie clip plays but there is no audio: there are no green layers on the Audio 1 track on the Timeline and I am hoping to correct that, please?Other audio on the same Timeline in this same project play fine.ThanksSteve

I tried to load my video from camera to pc . I got this message " Cant load Adobe Photo Downloader.  What to do?

i have adobe premiere elements 10.  when i insert text, it won't allow me to put in a simple font only; say arial, or calibri.  it used to allow that.  it now ALWAYS has some "fancy" text style selected.  you can select any certain font to be used, but it will be in some one of the styles; ie, one of those style boxes is always highlighted.  how can i get it so that no style box is highlighted?   can i reinstall the software?

My camera is Lumix FZ 1000So far I use Premiere Elements 11. Is this programm compatible with mp4 4K?In the internet I saw a hint, that this is not true for PE 14, but may be for PE 13.What about PE 11, PE 15?Ludger Kaup

I created a project with version 15 on my Dell desktop.  Someone else edited the project on his MacBook Pro also with Premier Elements version 15.  Now when I try to open the project this is what I get.  The media never renders.  This has happened with all the projects edited on the Mac.  The project do not have more than 3 minutes of video.

Hi,When importing 4k with resolution 4096x2160 it goes as planned when looking at the info of the imported file inside PE 15. Then when trying to export to the same format 4k [4096x2160] PE15 says that the source is of a reason 4k [3840x2160] and there is no options for exporting to 4096x2160.My questions are:- I understand if the source is only 4k [3840x2160] I cannot export to larger format, but why does PE 15 change the source file from originally 4096x2160 to 3840x2160 in export mode?- Could it be that PE 15 does not support 4096x2160?

I have seen several exampleswhere the opening credit Title Screen has a blue background. How do I acheive this effect?Thanks for any help 

I was gladly using 14 with no problems but I was working on an important video project, so I thought I'd upgrade to 15. So far, it's been a mistake.It's constantly shutting down (which it did again while I was writing this) I read elsewhere that I should turn off the autosave and that will fix it....but it did...then it didn't.Any suggestions?

Hi, I find the dark gray interface of Premiere Elements 14 too dark and I'd like to make a lighter color workspace, maybe even mostly white with black text, make it much easier to see and read. How can I  lighten the interface workspace color?

Hi, I'm very new to this(just started today. I want to ad a title in the first 5sec of my video just down the the corner that will be there as the video is starting. When I click on the titles and text tab there's lots of titles to pick from but no text templates? Any help would be great.Thanks
