I am trying to find a budget notebook (for my daughter, who begings her Design study this semester) capable of running InDesign + Photoshop + Illustrator. My professional background is electronic / IT engineering, so I would be able to select an appropriate configuration, if - IF! - technical requirements were clear.To come to the point - I must say I am really confused with respect to the GPU choice.For these three software packages Adobe lists "compatible" graphics cards, but these lists seem to be - hm... - a bit outdated? I haven't found any "ultimate" GPU, which would serve all the three applications well. Hello, I have a PC with W10 Pro and Intel i7 6th generation. I saw on the Adobe site that the latest supported processor is the 6th generation. Will the planned updates of Premiere, After Effects, and the Adobe suite in general in 2022 no longer be compatible with the processor? 1.) I edit on a MacBook Early 2015 with a 2.7 GHz Intel i5. H264 files sometimes play back choppy.In buying a new external hard drive, would any of these factors help with the choppy playback:A.) Thunderbolt 2?B.) 7200 rpm vs 5400 rpm?Or is the issue primarily with my GPU? Would the best solution be an external GPU or a new computer? 2.) When I import HLS H264 video, it's definitely choppy. Do newer computers play back HLS smoothly? Or is the only solution to convert in Shutter Encoder or Handbrake?

Looking at laptops for video editing.Does the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 no longer work for Premiere? I don't see it listed under Adobe's recommended graphics cards?

I've been thinking of upgrading my Mac Pro with another Pro Vega II GPU, for use with various 4K/8K video projects in Adobe CC. Mainly working with a lot of 10-bit 4:2:2 XF-AVC, Red Raw, Canon Cinema Raw Light, etc. A good mix of media codecs. Color grading mainly through Lumetri Color, but use various GPU-accelerated effects and plugins like NeatVideo.I've been researching the Infinity Fabric Link that comes with having 2 of the same MPX GPUs in the Mac Pro, but can't seem to find too much information on its usage. I see that it provides a far faster interconnect between the 2 GPUs, but I'd assume that an application has to be programmed to take advantage of IFL specifically, correct?Does anyone know if Adobe Premiere Pro treats 2x Pro Vega II GPUs with IFL as one GPU, similar to how it sees Crossfire on the Windows side? Or if it sees it as 2 separate GPUs, will it at least take advantage of IFL, or does it treat the 2 GPUs and just 2 separate GPUs connected via separate PCIe slots.A

Currently the value of video cards are a robbery. In my country you also have to add the cost of taxes (50% more expensive).Is it possible to build a good pc to edit without a video card?I ask this because apparently the m1 macbooks (I use windows) edit quite well in 4k without the need for a video card. I have a BMPCC4k camera.

Hey guys! I need to ask a question about GPUs for Premiere Pro. As you know the GPU market now is in a very bad state and prices are inflated ridiculously.I'm trying to buy a GPU now and my question is, how much GPU power do we really need for Premiere Pro? Is there a line where it comes to the point where buying a better GPU will make no difference in performance?And what is this line? As in, what GPU card specifically would someone need before they are wasting their money paying more for power that doesn't make any difference in performance.The list is long from GTX 1070 to crazy RTX 3090 Ti to quadro cards in the thousands. If I got something at the bottom of the Adobe recommend list and something at the top am I really going to notice any difference? Your advice and recommendations are appreciated. I hope my question makes sense. What's the sweet spot for the typical video editor? Thanks so much, Mark

Question: Will Adobe Premiere work if I purchase an Intel integrated graphics chipset UHD model?I am currently trying to upgrade my desktop because Premiere told me that my current CPU (Intel Core i7-4790k @4 GHz with Graphic HD 46000) is not supported when opening the product.As I am researching all of the Intel CPU chips, I can get either a gen 10 or 11 BUT all of the chips that have the integrated graphics chipset recommendations for Premiere are NOT for purchase to the public. The only integrated graphics chipset that is available is a UHD.PS: If you know where I can find the correct Intel chipset, that would be great.

Will there be support for rtx 3060? Hardware decoding averages 6% (CBR),(CUDA). My GPU is not used. I have the latest Nvidia studio driver. Do you know anyone solved please?

As I work mostly with Adobe Creative Suite and Premiere Pro, I'd like to buy a new computer but there are so many options. 1. cpu with many cores(Min. 8 or so)2. powerful graphics card3. much ram (32gb or more)4. fast hard disks (m.2 Ssd) Can you give me an advise?

I was curious if anyone else has had this happen to them...it's the first time I've seen anything like it. It's a new computer so I'm not sure if its even an adobe issue. Ich habe eine Frage bezüglich der CPU Auslastung von Premiere Pro. die meiste Zeit bin ich Premiere pro Benutze, zb. Einen Rendervorgang starte oder etwas exportiere liegt die CPU Auslastung meines starken Macs bei maximal 20% 80-85% der CPU Leistung ist inaktiv und nicht genutzt. die Performance von Final Cut Pro ist da deutlich stärker. Dort liegt die CPU Auslastung bei 75-85%  kann mir da bitte jemand weiterhelfen denn ich möchte Premiere gerne weiter nutzen aber es ist schade zu sehen das die Performance nicht genutzt wird. lg jo

Hey Guys, Can anyone recommend a really good display to use primarily for PS? My iMac 27" just died and I quickly replaced it with a Mac Mini M1 for now and need a monitor quickly. I'm looking for a 32" 4K (16:9) IPS,  good connectivity HDMI, USB-C, with a good stand, tilt n swivel, up down  etc.  What other if any specs should I be considering? My budget is anywhere up to around $1K or so.   I just started looking, reading reviews and watching You Tube.  One was recommended by B&H; the ASUS 32" Pro Art ASPA329C  $1095 also with Adobe RGB but received some very negative reviews on amazon. One was problems with calibration and the other dead pixels.  Another option was the LG 32UN880 Ergo. Your input is most appreciated.  If this was already recently addressed I apologize for the redundancy. Thanks,Howard 

Hello,Since working on a 4K monitor, After Effects UI is very slow and although the preview is fully cached to RAM, it does not play in real time.I've read about a workaround for this issue, which also works for me: overwriting high dpi scale by the system. When using this option, it runs smooth and fast.But it makes the UI blurry and that's why I am looking for a better solution.The not real-time RAM preview issue is solved by choosing the "Full Screen" preview option.
