Hi, all, So I was happily chugging along in Premiere Pro dynamically linked to After Effects for a demo reel I was working on. Everything is fine and it successfully renders the video as an MP4. But I go to do a final check on the render and I get these strange glitches that happen every now and then. I've tried several ways of exporting (both alone via the Export command, and via Media Encoder). All give the same result. The only way I can get around it is if I use software rendering. Not a bad solution, but not ideal, either. This obviously wittles it down to the GPU, but why? Example of a glitch: Example of the glitch in motion (watch between 18 and 19 seconds; it's very quick): As I mentioned, everything is absolutely fine (playback, effects, performance, etc.) up until checking out the final render. It's...weird. The only thing I can figure out is that during these "glitches," they seem to happen between clips on the Premiere Pro timeline that are up
In my system, there are 3 GPUs. A GTX 1660 TI OC 6GB, a GTX 1080 SC2, and intel UHD730. I am looking to output a video file in HVEC with HDR10 (PQ, 4k UHD) recorded on my galaxy s24 (standard), BUT... Because of TWO DIFFERENCES in the turing encoder and the pascal encoder, it won't touch my 1080. Here's the thing: The 1080 DOES NOT support B-frames in HVEC mode and lacks the abillity to normalize multiple frames or whatever. HERE'S THE ISSUE: I come from Shotcut, so disabling these settings in my encoder prefrences is usually an option, but Adobe's complete and utter lack of hands-on hardware control makes it IMPOSSIBLE! I have used blender with both GPUs, I have tried OpenCL options in premire, IT JUST WON'T WORK!! I am VERY tempted to STOP using this software, as making an entire GPU worthless (and my main one at that) JUST BECAUSE OF 2 DISCREPANCIES IS SO DUMB!! I JUST WANT TO DISABLE B FRAMING AND MULTIPLE REFERENCE FRAMES FOR HVEC! it would be th
It's been 8 years since I've built a computer. Instead of building, I'm going to buy a prebuilt laptop.Which would you choose for mainly editing 4k in Premiere Pro? I'll do some occasional After Effects work. Intel® Core™ i7-14700HX (up to 5.5 GHz, 33 MB L3 cache, 20 cores, 28 threads) and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4070 Laptop GPU (8 GB) Intel® Core™ i9-14900HX (up to 5.8 GHz 36 MB L3 cache, 24 cores, 32 threads)and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060 Laptop GPU (8 GB) Also, can I use Windows standard or do I need Windows Pro to run Premiere Pro?Thanks!
Hello, I am an Adobe Premiere Pro use and currently planning to buy a new desk top computer. Please suggest me by providing configuration within moderate budget. Thanks in advance. [Typos edited by moderator]

have a Dell 8940, with an i9 processor, and an Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU. Would going to a newer Nvidia GPU improve speed? The GPU i am looking at is the RTX 4070. Would this help speed things up in premiere pro? Thank you, Michael
Which Nvidia GPU driver do you recommend?

Hello community 👋 I wanted to update my video card which no longer has support for Premiere, I had a 2GB GeForce GT 710, I was searching on the Adobe page about the minimum video card requirements for Premiere 2024 but they only name the GB board memory but not the model. My idea was to upgrade to a GeForce Gtx 1660 Super 6Gb, I edit video only in Full HD 1920x1080, my question is if I can get a few more years with that model or will it become obsolete for Premiere in a short time? Thank you
Looking for the best current MacBook Pro configuration that will ensure I experience smooth performance for editing media up to 4K 120-240FPS. Most likely storing files on an external SSD.
Heyy! I would like some advice 🙂I want to work from my macbook (M1, 2020 - but considering buying a better one soon) in adobe premiere.I want to store the 4K files (and proxies) on the extern drive and work directly from this drive. But is the black one (using thunderbolt) better for me while working in the timeline with adobe. Is there a significant difference? And is the orange one also fine if I want to work with adobe directly? If the orange one is also OK then I would like that one better.. They are both the same price right now (in Holland), the black one (Thunderbolt) is 2Tb, the orange one is 4TB. Thanks!! [Typo in title edited by moderator]

My daughter is going to do a journalism and publish degree and the university uses adobe Creative Campus . What laptop will be suitable for this course and Adobe . Thank you 😊
I use Premiere Pro and do a lot of editing in 4K. I mostly use Lumetri Color and stabilization effects. My projects can be up to 100GB in size. Would you rather choose the RTX3060 12GB or the Arc770 16GB? I prioritize a smooth workflow over fast rendering. This is my current build, and I'm also wondering if an i7-14700K might be a better choice. Guten Tag, ich habe derzeit einen Mac Mini mit 32 GB RAM bei dem die Grafikkarte in der Bearbeitung mit Lightroom u. Photoshop Probleme macht. Das gerät ist 6 Jahre alt. Ich will mir einen Mac Studio M2 Max, 32 GB Ram, 12 -Core CPU, 30-Core GPU, 16-Core Neural engine kaufen. Reicht das für die Bearbeitung in Photoshop? Mit der Bitte um Nachricht.
Hi all,Picked up an RTX 4090 and I noticed my render times improve ever so slightly over the 3090. However I've been wondering about the new Intel Arc GPUs. The reason is that most of the footage I'm editing is 8k h.265 10-bit 4:2:2, which Nvidia doesn't have hardware decoding for. Intel DOES. An Arc GPU would allow me to edit my source footage without proxies, which would save a ton of time. But NVENC is so fast when rendering to h.264. If I install both a 4090 and A770, is there a way to have the best of both worlds? Can Premiere be told to use the A770 decoder for my source footage, and still use CUDA on my Nvidia card for rendering and effects? Or is Premiere limited to one GPU at a time?

What will have a bigger impact on performance/workflow going from 64gb to 128gb or going from a Gen4 SSD 7,400mbs to a gen5 14000mbs ssd cache drive? I Use Prem and AE edit 4k h.265 footage
translate) Not long ago, I saw other computer communities claim that the performance improvement of the Mercury Playback engine has enabled all GPUs, including Radeon, GeForce, Intel Arc, and Apple Silicon, to accelerate decoding hardware as well as encode, and that previews work well without necessarily using QuickSync. Suddenly, after seeing this article, I wonder if there is no need to use quick sync, so I would like to ask the users three things. 1. Did you feel any improvements in preview performance since you heard the Premier Pro 2024 version? 2. What was the last hardware acceleration update? Did the preview performance actually improve with the 24.x version? 3. Do you feel that the premier has slowed down since applying the Intel baseline settings? If you feel anything, please comment.

I was just moved to a different desk in my office and I'm getting all this annoying glare from the overhead lights reflecting on my screen. What's the best anti-glare screen cover? Thanks!
I'm about to callibrate my new LG oled G3. Is it still normal to use 100 nits as the level for peak white on SDR footage? I think most home tvs view a alot brighter.
Hi. I added a voiceover yesterday using a cheap headset with a microphone attached and the results were pretty good with the cinematic feature in Premier Pro. I was wondering if others here use the same thing. I was thinking of getting the ones in the link below. I kind of like the fact that I don't have a mic boom attached to my desk, but maybe that's the better route? Any recommendations? Thanks.https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1066286-REG/koss_184755_full_size_headphones_noise_cancelling.html
