Kevin, After an unacceptable halt to productivity 2 months ago with all of the issues being caused to the Indie editor/producer with PR 22, my executive producer just told me the company's patience with Adobe problems has officially reached its limit and that I MUST move to another software or be fired. I guess I'm moving to Final Cut Pro today. Just what I needed on my plate - learning a new editing program from scratch with 3000+ hours of footage backed up and delayed because it's become impossible to edit and export even a simple video. I hope Adobe got what they wanted with this rollout, but for many of us, version 2022 has nailed the coffin shut on our careers, and now we have to try to ressurect our reputations. Every day it's another glitch and another problem. All I created in PR 22 is apparently not backwards compatible, so going back to 15.2 isn't a good option either (if reports on the forum are correct that 15.2 was the last time PR worked with any functionality). For those who still create DVD and Blu-ray discs I have been able to create a AVCHD DVD Disc that is 37 minutes in length.  I burned the DVD with TMPGEnc Authoring Works 6(PC only).  The video file was H.264 created in the latest version of Premiere.  Authoring Works reincoded the video.  I did not notice any loss of video quality.

Absolutely right and may the stable Premiere come with you. The client to whom you are doing the work will not wait for you to get stuck and sort out mistakes. He needs it here and now. I repeat, here and now. If someone does not understand, I personally face similar problems. And the customer does not care about what is buggy, crashes, works slowly. Premiere is a professional tool and just disappointing. You don't feel this pain and hatred when you are being hurried: come on, time is time, time is time, son. Make a truly professional product with all the working features that are implemented in each new update. I was just terrified today when the project delivery time was running out, and I don't have an easy way to use the second Capture text track. She's gone and that's it. January of this year I built a new computer, for a CPU cooler I bought https://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-ACFRE00052A-Freezer-Pressure-Optimised-Technology/dp/B07LGSDQC2   I have had a fan 'get loud' due to a bad bearing before... sometime last night the cooling fan just stopped... I woke up to a message on the screen that the fan wasn't working, so the computer 'dropped out' to just display a low power using BIOS message   I had a box of 120mm fans that I bought when building several computers, so I replaced the dead fan and all is well again   I am surprised that an 11 month old fan would die, but 'stuff happens'   Has anyone else had a fan just stop working?

@Kevin-Monahan  How about you go back to v15.2 and remove every "optimization" you did for M1, keep it all intel, and start making updates from there.   Every single version since 15.2 HAS BEEN GARBAGE ON A MAC.   

I am SOOO fed up with Adobe changing stuff like this in updates and no ability to turn it off or just go back to the old way.  Why overcomplicate this?  Before I simply dragged in my HLG3 footage, applied conversion lut, and renderd just fine.  Now when rendering it looks insane and blown out and messed up.  Switching all the settings interpret footage helped but still not the same.  I need to finally learn DaVinci and get off this total nonsense.   Mod note: Branched and moved to Video Lounge

After years of working with Adobe products, to me these issues like Dynamic Link and Exporting should be worked out in Beta. NOT when an official launch of a "professional" platform is live. A few minor bugs, well that happens. But with as much as we pay, and how important it is to trust the company we are relying on, this is unacceptable the way Adobe has been rolling product out. It feels like they are caring less and less about the professionals who have clients, deadlines, and more. RANT OVER...

This is by far the worst release of Premiere Adobe has ever put out. It's riddled with bugs... Having very similar issues and exports are even looking different than how they are in the program.   Mod note: This post is OT and the title was changed to reflect your issue. Thanks.

What makes a camera HDR? Is any camera with enough stops of dynamic range usable as a HDR source in Premiere. I have a BMPCC 4K but none of the HDR 'interpret footage' options seem available.

All versions of Premiere 14 are no longer available for download.  Davinci Resolve is available in many previous versions.  Why is Adobe so anxious to delete previous versions?

Hello, I'm a filmmaker and I saw on some YouTube channels, which were positing short films, that they collaborated with Adobe on that movie, like in this one. My question is how to do that too. Are also people with smaller followings able to do that? 

I'm going to call out Adobe's feature and bugs reporting function. A system that relies on upvotes from other users. This is ridiculous. I understand the logic with features, but bugs are a completely separate matter. Every single bug in Adobe's software should be addressed and the method given to report them is woeful. No logical layout - I've been part of a few beta programs in my time and the all had a better way of reporting bugs, with proper feedback from the development team and solutions published in a similar spreadsheet like layout for all those products. You'd lodge the software revision, the exact steps to reproduce the bug and the exact hardware specs of the platform you were on, along with OS revisions, graphics cards etc.  What's more the current method does not seem to work. Bugs simply get ignored. We badly need a separate and proper reporting function for bugs. Features are a completely separate area and tehy don't belong together.

Could you guys please stop adding new features to Adobe premiere and rather fix the bugs!!!I am literally thinking of switching to a deferent editing software. With every update it seems to get worse! Small things like pause/play delays, or simple text editing features which simply do not work, or random crashes at least one per day. This is really not pro software anymore. Rename the program to Premiere noob!

Ok I just used Adobe Rush and not gonna lie loved it but only 3 exports is outragous so this is mainly a complaint about both pro and rush First off great products and I'd love to support this and these products but my god $76/m is dear and I'd love to get the Student deal but i dropped out of school so is there a way i can get it anyway?  also even $15/m to $29/m solo is absoulty insane. This company has a fantasic program in-high demand mainly pro and photoshop but my god can we make it a little cheaper please instead of price over quanity and I'm honestly sorry for complaining and being broke but my god it has to be said also a Solution for Adobe it should be $15/m base for all single apps (rush should be free as a sexy sampler then they can upgrade to pro if they like it) and $30/m to $40/m for cloud and you guys would double you're community then sell stock photos and audio programs for a extra $10/m to $15/m each then you're regular patrons pay $60 still cause most would mos

I don't even use a Mac but I feel terrible for the people that spentthousands of dollars on a machine only to be left behind. "Out of yourhands" doesn't mean Apple told you to stop. It definitely means you weretold from up higher in your company not to "waste resources" on Macswithout the M1 chip. I use premier and after effects, but the way yourcompany treats it's users (The people that keep it afloat) I won't besurprised when everyone jumps ship when they can. Even Linus himself saidhe's using Adobe software ONLY because he has to. As soon as thosecompetitors get better.....tick tock tick tock...
