If you are creating Blu-ray discs, I recommend TMPGEnc Authoring Works 6.  Export the video to H.264 Blu-ray.  The video will not be Multiplexed. However, Authoring Works 6 can Multiplex the video.  The video will not be reincoded when creating the  Blu-ray disc.

The Adobe video and audio team is focused on Apple Metal graphics for macOS, ensuring a stable and performant user experience for our applications on the Apple platform."   How dare you call this a "feature."  Apple's current most powerful computer, the MacPro7,1 with AMD GPU still support OpenCL, and Adobe's performance with Metal has always been inferior to performance using OpenCL.

This updated version does not reduce the file size, it creates a file that is larger.  Recommendations for another program.

I know that Adobe just announced that they're purchasing Frame.io.  Anyone know when that might go through and when we might see Frame.io as part of the Creative Cloud (if that is where it will live)?  I can't find that info. Thx!

Just updated Premiere and I'm seeing a feature that I really disliked about FCP - the fact that you open multiple projects at the same time.  I do find this occasionally useful, but not on a daily basis and really it ends up being more confusing and I can't always tell when I've completely closed an old project unless I quit and restart Premiere.Is there a setting so that I only open one project at a time like the way it used to be?The way it used to be was perfect for me, but now it would require multiple steps to either start a new project or open a different project if I already have one open.

I used to have the full Adobe creative package - Premiere Pro, Rush, Acrobat, etc. I didn't renew during the core covid pandemic.  I just contacted "customer support" (joke) to ask the rate for Premiere Pro (not the full package this time) as discounts have been offered to certain countries. But clearly NOT to UK customers. So I will simply take up a video editing package with one of Adobe's rivals. Adobe seems to have lost its way and Premiere Pro is not longer a leader as I'm finding out.Disappointed, but not surprised that Adobe has its marketing head in the sand.

Hello folks, Did anyone else watch this review/test of the Apple Silicon native version of Premiere Pro, comparing performance with FCP and Davinci? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTzRBNIhBXU I have to say, I'm a little jealous of the seemingly superior performance/optimisation of the other NLE packages. It makes me wonder to what extent Premiere Pro is truly optimised for Apple Silicon?  Are there still import/export filters that are running via Rosetta?

I know we are still a couple months out, and I'm sure a lot of usare curious... will the NAB Show happen?If so, are there currently any plans for Adobe to attend? There are many reason I attend, and Adobe is one of the leading reasons... I'm guessing they can't say, or haven't made a decision yet. But is there a 'we will decide by x date' ?

Why are Legacy Title going out. I use it in EVERY  project I make.So easy to use for baggrunds and text. Realy not happy for that.If I understand the message as comes with update to ver. 15.2 the options goes out.  

I get that Adobe makes a killing selling monthly software subscriptions and the promise of constant updates helps to justify this. I get it.  But WHY am I paying a monthly premium to get a different set of bugs every single update? Why not aspire to create a piece of software that is relatively stable? At least in the past I had a sense for the certain little nuances that may trigger a crash and I could save accordingly, now it's like some kinda twisted game of roulette every click. This most recent update is awful, but my subscription cost hits my bank account each month without fail. End rant. No follow up necessary. 

I'd like to talk about the current problem with cracked programs that people buy. I have the solution. A better plan for new people. The simple reason of why people get cracked programs it's because they can't afford the real program, and it's understandable, it's way expensive and the majority just can't afford it. But the majority will if Adobe help us. Adobe should make a plan for the new people trying to use Adobe, a plan which could offer you a progressive price, first years a low and affordable price, after that the price gets to the normal price. This option will simply make Adobe more money since people will stick to Adobe since the beginning with no cracked programs and this option will help people to use the amazing programs of Adobe in a legal way. Everyone gets happy about it.And if you wonder how? Do it like the stock companies which in order to create an account you must submit your ID and legal documents, that way people won't just create 10 accounts to get the

To everybody who uses PP and thinking about using it: (this is an objective analysis not with a bias, a clear view on what to expect) I never write comments about any product but now I wanted to do my best and spend time and think hard about what and how to write I use PP since 2 months on a 24/7 basis. Long days.But you would expect that working with a professional product would be good and easy. So editing (I mostly do cut and paste and a bit of colour correction and a bit of green key, but no difficult stuff) is ok.  BUT THEN. Ok, It looks like rendering big pieces (I have an rtx  3070 card) is impossible. (I render h,264 and just hd.So I try to find the sweet spot (that I don't have to try 10 times for rendering before it works AMAZING YOU DO THESAME THING, EVEN RESTARTING PC AND ANYTHING ELSE, AND SOMETIMES IT DOOESN'T WORK, THE NEXT TIME IT WORKS) and I render pieces and then again drop them into  the timeline after eachother and render a b

some people started reporting that youtube links which worked up to yesterday have been crashing \ showing blank today... yes the problem is at the youtube end, yes there is already a patch doing the rounds which works around the code change they made don't panic

Every update makes Premiere less stable, less streamlined, less capable.  I'm working on an 18 core Mac with 256gb ram and Radeon Pro Vega 64x 16gb, and Premiere continues to underperform even basic tasks.  Can someone from Adobe please explain wtf is going on?? The latest issue I'm having is trying to create proxies for a bunch of h264 assets I received.  They are all relatively short (under 5 min), max resolution is 1080, and Media Encoder fails halfway.  Ok.  Force quit AME, go to batch out the files from Premiere and it literally doesn't do anything.  Just sits there with the progress bar at 0.  I left it for 30 minutes and nothing.  Go to quit, and it freezes upon QUITTING.  WHY.  I'm sick of throwing away money for a program and suite that keeps getting worse and worse. Since writing this, I've restarted Premiere, re-queued the proxies, and AME has already frozen.

Making YouTube videos and posting promotional social media videos requires Premiere Pro / Photoshop and Spark... it would be nice if there was a YouTuber friendly package. £45 a month is too much for the full package if theres no return on the work and most of the apps are left unused. We need a £25 package for YouTubers which includes the above apps. Can adobe help?An annual discount for loyalty would also be appreciated.

It would be awesome if we could get an expansion of active computers/liscenses. If my memory is correct only 2 active computers are permitted right now. It would be great if the wonderful people at Adobe for Christmas this year would expand that to 3 or 4 active computers/liscenses with maybe upto 5 listed on our accounts. Just putting a bug in Adobe's ear, hopefully you guys listen and implement it. P.S: Talk to your mobile programmers and tell them to get Premiere Rush woking on the top 3-5 Android tablets, maybe as many as 10 but emphasis to them that Android users should not be left out of being able to use ya'lls apps like Premiere Rush and others.
