Disappearing the button of cross section properties (3D PDF)

Does anyone know why disappear the button of cross section properties on the attached 3D PDF file?
I observed that button is shown in the parent 3D PDF file, but once attached the 3D PDF into another 3D PDF, the button has disappeard.
