What is this error message telling me? Adobe Reader was already open.  I double clicked a file in Windows File Explorer, a fillable PDF file.  Adobe Reader displayed this error message twice.  I clicked OK twice.  After that, Adobe Reader opened a new tab and displayed the file.  I haven't tried filling and saving yet. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, AGM Version 4.030.00115.  Windows 10 21H2 64-bit with all updates, 32GB RAM, 4TB hard drives, etc.  Reader and Windows are both Japanese because I used to live in Japan.

My printer is offline. Files will not print.

I've been searching for answers on this for 2 days now. My Acrobat Reader DC app won't launch, as in after I click the executable it loads for a second then nothing. Nothing in the task manager, nothing at all. It just won't launch, Tried reinstalling, restarting computer, nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hello,For the past few days, when I annotate .pdf files (I highlight or underline words or sentences), it happens that the WHOLE DOCUMENT is highlighted (or underlined), which makes all my previous highlighting (or underlining) work useless.I do Apple+Z to undo this but there is no way to go back!Does anyone have a solution?Philippe

hi, suddenly since google sent new software update for my s21, acrobat reader stoped working. attached the error mesge i was kept on getting when try to open an attachment. does anybody facing the same issue?? 

Mid way through downloading a few pdf's the following "Failed - insufficient permission" occurred.  

Is there any way to display a list of all the open documents beyond the tabs? I have 20 documetns open, I can't see all of them at once on the tabs or navigate among them quickly. I have to scroll using the arrows on top right and none of the tabs show a full name. Annoying!.

MacOS Monterrey 12.1I have seen many similar posts, but none seem to have an answer to my problem.  I am trying to print a 4 page pdf from Acrobat Reader DC v 2021.007.20099. If I select the default to print all pages, these are my error messages:Also, the same when I select a range of pages (1,3,4 for example). However, I can print the pages one at a time. Terrible time sink. Hope Adobe will offer a patch for this problem.

After upgrade to Monterey, when i get prompted to authinticate "adobe acrobat reader trying to authenticate user" after the 8th letter it greys out. Previous to Monterey upgrade this was working and the Authintication pin was 13 letters not 8. Please assist

I am trying to export a PDF (bank statement) to Excel but the results are far from being good... Acrobat creates all sorts of multiple columns (20+ columns) and merges when there is only a need for 3 columns : date, description and amount (see screenshot)... Is there a smart way to get around this? Is there a tool that allows for telling Acrobat where I would like to get my columns delimited?  

I have a strange one here that I wouldn't say is an adobe reader DC issue but Reader DC doesn't seem to give me any clues as to why.I use the send as email with the webmail function for one of my 365 accounts it works fine but for another, it fails. both accounts are identical (seems) same domain and everything basic account set up.Based on this I am digging into my 365 accounts. however, I would like some info from adobe reader DC to assist on why.Running the action just results in a message saying,"connecting" as expected then it disappears no further message or email draft  sent when checking the draft box in outlook.i have attached the picture of the last status recieved when sending. before it just goes blank. Can anyone assist me on how to dig into adobe reader to find the message or log of why it stop after the email authentication connection stage is completed?

Hey all, I try to lock down Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Continuos track. I had a working plist but the current version 2021.011.20039 seems to ignore most of the plist settings. For example I get the EULA shown, Auto Update is enabled, so is webmail, etc. To create the attached plist for the 2021.011.20039 version I used the old plist as a reference, the references from here https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/PrefRef/Macintosh/index.html and tried to add or use new keys like InAppUpsellEnabled that I found in a freshly created plist when launche the above version for the first time. The result was slightly better but auto update is still enabled as is webmail etc. Using only the references mentioned above and this guide https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide_Mac/predeployment_configuration_advanced.html#disabling-updates I created another new plist with the solemn purpose to disable auto update.  Again auto

Hallo zusammen,bei uns wurde auf allen Clients die 64Bit Version des Adobe Readers per Autoupdate installiert.Seitdem ist kein Ausdruck mehr auf unsern Drucker mögich. 64 Bit Treiber sind installiert.Es macht auch keinen Unterschied wlecher Druckerhersteller. Akutell allerdings hautpsächtlich Kyocera.Hat jemand eine Lösung ?Vielen Dank im VorausHelmut

Previouly when I clicked to save a downloaded PDF I could click on 'Choose a different folder' if the relevant folder wasn't in the list of recent folders displayed. Now there is no response when I click on the 'Choose a different folder button'. Not sure why this is happening and how I can resolve it

J'ai paramétré mon imprimante par défaut dans les paramêtres de mon ordinateur mais Acrobat Reader me propose toujours une autre imprimante lorsque je souhaite imprimer. Donc je suis obligé de modifier à chaque fois l'imprimante. Comment pourrais-je faire pour que mon imprimante par défaut soit réellement mon imprimante par défaut dans Adobe ? Merci d'avance pour votre aide.

I am able to set the Touch Mode to Never but it will not stay.  Automatically goes back to Auto-Detect.  What are the steps required to make it stay on "Never"? 

If I go to open a new file and Adobe is not already open, Adobe will freeze and open files that I have not opened in months. It is specifcally two files that open every single time I do this. Is there a way to prevent this from happening becuase Adobe is unusable for 3 minutes while it does this and no idea why it is even doing this?

Is there any reason why there have not been any Adobe Acrobat Reader updates since October?The last released version is; 21.007.20099.ref: Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader This is very unusual for Adobe to not to release one monthly.Please advise approximately when next released version will be released, thanks.  

Hi!,so I have Adobe app on my phone. I uploaded a pdd to adobe cloud and made some comments in the document.This file and those comments can be viewed and edited in my mobile app and thru the portal documentcloud.adobe.com. However I can see an option do download this file to local PC/laptop with latest Adobe Acrobat Reader. I hoped I could see my cloud files in the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, edit/add comments and keep those changes in sync with online version of the file in the cloud. I'm I missing something of such a feature is not built-in to Adobe Acrobat Reader PC for computers?

Hi,  I work for a content company. We have published a read only usb-stick containing PDF files of our published magazines for our subscribers. However, we have some difficulties in opening the files on the stick. The stick has been created by a company specialized in creating read only usb sticks. But, when we try to open the PDF files directly from the stick, we get the following error:Adobe Reader could not open … because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn’t correctly decoded)But when we copy the same files from the usb stick to the harddisk, there is no problem in opening the PDF. Even more strange: the problem of not opening files directly from the usb-stick seems to occur randomly, depending on the version of Adobe Acrobat Reader used. For instance, the opening error occurs in the newest Adobe Acrobat Reader version  2021.007.20009 (64-bit), but not on on older versio
