Questions

When I start filling in a document, adobe closes in 1 second. How can this be fixed? And yes, I have closed all other programs, uninstalled and reinstalled, change preferences in security(enhanced), accepted eula file agreement, replaced the host file, unchecked protected view, none of it has worked for me. Please assist me.

My pdf file contains links that point to tables, figures, and references in the file. None of these links work after adding a digital signature. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reproduce the file.Is it possible to use the links by making changes in the existing file settings?

Does anyone know why certain actions I have javascripts for aren't performing the same on the users end when I email them the a fillable form I created? I have a dropdown ("Vehicle Model") that will filter only specific options to select because its conditional upon what is selected in a previous dropdown (Vehicle Make).  However a user emailed me that when they selected a vehicle make, that when they clicked the arrow for the second dropdown to select the vehicle model specific to that make it didn't populate any options to select other that the default "-Select Model-".   I thought maybe was an error on my side in the scripting, but when I open and test the form on my end it works completely fine. Another example, is that I have a lot of fields hidden with javascripts that should only become visible if certain check boxes are checked, but when the client downloads the PDF I sent them by email, it is by default revealing all the fields that I set to be by

I'm a user of Windows 11 Home(I am an insider, so I'm using beta-version of Windows 11.), when I updated my Windows to 11 from 10, Acrobat Reader doesn't open the PDF files and doesn't run after all.I'm using the latest version of Reader, (when I tried to update the Reader, the installer told 'this is the latest one'.) so this problem isn't about the version.  These are the specs of my computer:Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-8145U CPU @ 2.10 GHz  2.30 GHzRAM: 8.00 GBBits: 64 bits, x64Windows: Windows 11 Home 21H2 Can you help me, please?

We are using Adobe Reader And Office 2013 Version on Windows Server 2012 (not R2) with all Udpates installed - August 2020.This happen after successfully send the Mail via Outlook in the Moment when we close the Adobe Reader. I have installed Adobe Reader and I neel to sign some documents. The problem is that the signature option gives me an error every time I try to access. Please see the screenshots. Errors:- PPKHandlerImpl-83- Secutiry Console-430 I already tried to uninstall and install again.I friend of mine have the same computer and same Windows version, and it works fine there.

Avec l'ancienne version (XI) il était possible d'ouvrir un PDF directement en plein écran (à condition d'avoir déja un document ouvert en plein écran dans un autre onglet...). je n'arrive plus a faire la même chose avec la version (DC). Pouvez vous m'aider ? 

As I'm filling in a form and typing away in the text box using the "Fill & Sign" tool, I suddenly noticed that it's displaying suggestions for words that are specifc only to me, e.g. my occupation, name, employer, etc. Where is it obtaining this information? The only logical explanation is my resume located elsewhere on my computer; The file is not even open and I'm not even signed into Acrobat Reader. This is very disconerting that Acrobat has been pooling data from my existing documents without my knowledge. Where's the documentation on this and how do I disable it?

Bonjour.Je garde dans mes dossiers ma signature. Je viens de recevoir le refus de Reader de la placer sur le document, au motif que le format JPG n'est pas reconnu ! J'en ai refait 1 copie ( plus contrastée ), ai éteint l'ordi, désinstallé et réinstallé Reader, sans succès. Il y en a un exemplaire depuis toujours dans l'onglet " signer " , en haut de page PDF,  et celle-là, je peut l'insérer ! C'est pourtant la même que l'originale des dossiers ! !Merci à ceux qui se pencheront sur mon cas.J. J. S.

I do not want to log in to use the free version of Reader.I do not want to log in and stay logged in. I do not want to log in at all.Thanks. How do I get the old version back? 

I am needing a document open and am having zero luck. I have the newest Adobe on my computer and on my phone. I've tried ever way I can think to  get it to open and have no clue what to do at this point. Any advice is appreciated! Thank you. I also have attached a picture of the message that pops up every time I attempt to open the document  

After reinstalling app i'm not able to sigin in my account.. even after email verification 

So to help out a friend I made the grave mistake of downloading and installing Reader.  Only to find that Adobe had bundled two different McAfee programs with it, without first asking if I wanted that.  Bad business practice.  Bad IT.  Just bad all around. Then after that, I started the software, and instead of it being immediately useful for me, it had unavoidable popups and nonsense which literally prevent the user from using the software until those popups are dealt with.  Again, terrible design.  Bad IT. I immediately closed it and uninstalled all of it.  I won't be downloading it again.  I'm going to the open source alternative.

The reader DC on my Macbookpro does not keep connection to Google Drive. Even once it was granted for permission to my Google account for viewing and editing whatever, after around 1 hour, suddenly got logged out from the account and I have been kept enforcing to make a re-logging in procedure to grant the permission. I think it looks not a proper movement. Does anybody have the same problem, and solution?  OS: BigSur 11.01Reader ver: 2021.001.20149

It seems like with the new update to Adobe Reader we are having issues with "signatures" When we received a signed PDF,  it shows: "Signed by Unknown" and then the reason is: This signature is invalid because there are errors in the formatting or information contained in this signature" Can you please advise how to solve this?  

Hi,For most of my PDF's that I print for work, at the bottom of the page where the signature is. There is always a big black box on top of the signature. If someone could help me on what this issue could be I'd appreciate it, thank you very much!

I suspect I have a pdf file that has a weird problem but I am not skilled enough to figure it out. I can copy the file using utilities such as iText7 and pdfSharp but I get odd results when I try some other functions.  The functions I use work with other pdf files, just not this one. Iin one case when I try to scale the file to 50% size, I get a blank page.  And when I try to use some graphic functions (such as var gfx = XGraphics.FromPdfPage(page); ), I get messages such as "Width and Height must be non-negative" although the properties of the page are standard 8.5" x 11". Here is the link to file I am having problems with:http://www.firish.com/temp/HandRecord1.pdf(also attached if that is more convenient)Thanks for any help or advice.

Some of my documents will not print correctly in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2021.005.20058. Some of the text in the documents is illegible when it prints. It looks like black boxes. It is not the fillable text...only the standard form text. I can see it fine on screen though. I have tried printing it on 2 different printers that are both fully updated, 1 HP and 1 Brother. Also, I can choose to open the documents in Google Chrome and it will print fine. It is only when trying to print from Adobe Reader. It has to be a setting somewhere in Adobe, but I can't figure it out. I have scoured the internet and Adobe community and cannot find anything to help. I am using an Apple Macbook Pro with MacOS Big Sur, Version 11.5.2 (if that helps). I have attached an image of what it looks like when it prints.

I have PDF files that contain letter-size pages, legal-size pages, and other non-standard-size pages (e.g., A4). My new Brother L6200DW printer chokes on the non-standard size pages, no matter what Adobe options I select. Brother support tells me it's an Adobe issue. Support won't talk to me because I'm using the free Reader product. Any tips?
