un install acrobat on macbook airy time i open a PDF document it opens in acrobat reader..

For some reason all my doucuments are oped up in acrobat reader and i cant do anything with them , cant send , save or anything i need to do with them. It is only recently happened ,i guess when I had to install Acrobat reader for something. I just need it off my mac book air  as i cant access all my documents ....
