Broken highlighting when using adobe on ipad

Hello,

My highlighting (with ipencil or finger) is not working properly on pdf documents on the IPadPro. In past, and properly, the highlight will go continuously, over several lines of text, from beginning to end. Now, highlight stops at the end of a word, even if the pen/finger continues, and doesn't work over several lines (or several words). Please help. I use this function all time for work, and would like to resume.

Moved from Adobe Acrobat to Acrobat Reader Mobile.

Is this with all documents or just ones that were scanned?
