Acrobat Reader Mobile

I’m using ipad air 5th generation(ipados version 18.7.8 and app version 26.08.00). I’ve been using this app since years and it worked fine but after the recent updates, files don’t open in the app. I’ve tried restarting the ipad multiple times, even uninstalled and reinstalled the app.I’m attaching a screen recording below. It’s not visible in the recording but I’m constantly tapping on the pdf and it’s not opening. If I close the app and open the file from file manager, it works but it takes 20-30 sec to open the file. And the file I’m trying to open in this recording is only 56 MB. I also tried opening a 250 MB file and it took 3 min to open.I turned off “Enable generative AI features in Acrobat” and “Convert to Liquid Mode automatically” in settings and it’s still the same. I even tried with both wifi on and off and that didn’t matter either. All the files are stored locally on ipad.

I am using Acrobat on an iPhone running iOS 26.6.2. After updating Acrobat last week to version 26.08.01, I cannot open any PDF files with the app; when I click a file it just does nothing, no opening animation, no loading icon, nothing. If I go to iPhone Files->Open With->Acrobat, the Opening popup will appear with the loading circle, but it will just spin endlessly and not open the file (I waited for over 10 minutes). I tried restarting the phone and reinstalling the app and neither resolved the issue.

I am not able to access the adobe acrobat app in either my iPhone or my iPad. I have deleted the app, deleted cache, rebooted and reinstalled app and it still crashes. The opening page will come on for a second and then crashes. Can someone please help as this app is needed for work. I have a iPhone 16 pro max and an IPad Pro 18.5.

As an Adobe emloyee marked there answer as the correct in another post, when was it was clearly pointed out that their answer doesn't work, I have reacreated another post for everyone to vent their frustration at the AI assistant button in the new Acrobat. Link to the old post: Re: remove AI assistant button .... and no, we don't want to change the UI back to the old one to remove it. We just want the setting in the options to turn it off to actualy work!

I've go for 7 days trial last 3 days ago and I've got  charges of 269aed from my bank account I need to get my money back.

Cancelé antes de que pasará la prueba gratuita y hoy que finaliza han intentado cobrarse el plan anual. Lo he vuelto a cancelar y me sale que el plan está activo hasta el año que viene, pero no lo quiero y quiero que no se vuelva a intentar cobrar otra vez.

I was trying to use your free trial but when payment time it charged me before free trial. So now I want my refund.
