Can’t save

I can't save anything to the cloud or star anything in Adobe Acrobat, instead an error message pops up and it creates a copy of the pdf randomly.

I hope you're doing well despite the issue you're experiencing with Acrobat DC.

 

First, may I kindly ask which version of Acrobat DC you're currently using? It's essential to have the recent version installed to ensure the best performance. You can quickly check this by going to Help > About Acrobat. If you need to update, go to Help > Check for updates and follow the prompts.

 

If updating doesn't resolve the issue, you can attempt to repair the installation from the help menu (this is applicable for Windows users only).

 

Another option is to reset the Acrobat preferences to default as explained in this community forum post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082.

 

If the issue still persists, creating a new test user profile with full admin rights on your Windows device or enabling the root account on your Mac may help resolve the issue.
