I am creating a form with three checkboxes and several form fields. If the first two boxes are checked, the user needs to complete certain sections of the form before they can print. If the third box is checked, they only need to print the form and do not need to continue filling out the form. I added a print button at the bottom to run a script that if the required fields do not have data, the form will not print. But, how do I eliminate this warning if the user checks box #3? I have a job crew form that I have pretty much automated to save myself some time at the end of a job. And as a major part of this improvement my only option known to me to handle in/out time calculations using JavaScript to create a function [Time2Min] to convert the times to calculable values inside the function [TimeDiff] that performs the time difference operation. I have a few text fields I would like to change the fill color when the field is populated to yellow. If the text field is not populated the fill color would be white or transparent. The text color would be black. Can someone tell me how to accomplish this and where would the script go? Thank you everyone.

Hi I'm currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro.I'm designing a PDF form with dropdown option field. Its contains 10 dropdown options. If a user selects 7 of the 10 option I need ["dropdown1", "dropdown2", "dropdown3",]; fields to be blacked out.Can anyone please help me with a script?

Currently, I am capturing signatures on an html interface and encoding the signature as a base64 string. Now I would like to decode the base64 string to display either an image or signature on the pdf form itself. Is this possible, and if so how would I do this?

In my scenario, I have a multi page pdf.  There is a page that starts with a specific phrase "Page C".  I need to delete that page, and all other following pages until it reaches another specific phrase "Page D".I'm guessing it would be some kind of javascript in the action wizard.  If so, could anyone help me find something that would work?  Thanks!

I am trying to write a script with no success that sums up different cells based on their Job titles as shown in the picture below.I Need the Hour(s) column highlighted in red to get its value from the sum in column highlighted in blue based on the job number.example: all the "Apples" job number to be summed and displayed in the Hour(s) column highlights in red. in excel it would be something like this. Good evening, I am having some trouble understanding why my program has trouble deleting pages sometimes? My coworker and I use the same program, and he never gets errors when it comes to deleting pages via our script, only I get the error. We are pulling pages automatically from our shared cloud drive. The error I get goes along the lines of: "Error; could not delete pages; pages are open or are being used, and could not be deleted." Does anybody know why this happens?  Perhaps our google file drive does not like our script?

Comments are invisible on my pdf document when I add a text comment but the text appears in the right-hand bar comment bar. My text was visible beforehand but has recently become invisible. Any way to fix this? Thanks!

I am trying to compute a form that my foreman can fill out onsite. The question is all there is to it:  Are there any other ways to extract text from a page besides getPageNthWord?Likewise, are there ways to make getPageNthWord faster?

I have a form with several drop downs and many text fields built in the latest version of Acrobat DC.I have added a submit button that tests for required fields before submission.It tests text fields OK, but if the drop down has ANY value including the default "Please select" it considers that as a valid answer, despite a script added to ensure the drop down is always set as a required field if the value = "Please select".I have added this script to the custom format section, and tried it in Actions, Validation and Calculate sections, but it always has the same result. The submit button ignores that the drop down setting as "required".I have scoured the web for hours, there are many suggestions but look  a bit complex and beyond my novice JavaScript skills.How do I get the submit button to check if a drop down that has the default value, and to treat it as an empty field like a text field? Appreciate any advice.

I'm trying to convert PDFs to single-page tiff using the Adobe SDK using C#, but I'm confused on several points.  I've searched this forum but still have questions.- Do I need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on my computer to accomplish this?  Or can I accomplish this WITHOUT having to drive the Acrobat Reader's GUI app?  In other words, I don't want to open the Adobe user interface and start driving the GUI app that way.  I just want to have my C# program open a PDF fileand export it to tiff, with nothing visible on the screen.- Which of the SDKs should I use?       - Acrobat DC SDK    - Acrobat XI SDK    - Acrobat X SDKI downloaded sample probjects for each but they have a project reference to "acrobat" which isn't a dll presentin the samples directory.   Is that because I'm supposed to have the Acrobat Reader installed on mymachine, and the project is referencing a Registry based COM dll?&nbs

How do you create a button action that makes the button follow the user as they scroll through the PDF and when clicked it takes them to a specific page? For example, a button on the side of the document would follow the user as they scroll so that at any point they can click the button to return to the table of contents. I believe there is some type of javascript involved, but I don't know what it would be. Does anyone know? Thanks for any help!

I am creating an interactive form in Acrobat Pro and I would like to use Drop down menu entries to change relevant check boxes automatically please? So which ever drop down selection is made will trigger the relevant check box to be ticked on the form. How do you do that with Javascript please?
