Hello,I have a calculate script for a TextField.  The form runs without error, but the TextField remains blank. I'm sure you need more information from me to answer this questions, but I am not sure what information I should provide.

Is there anyway to circumvent the adobe reader print limit of 999? I've been using foxit reader, but that program moves the fields I paced on the pdf slightly.

I have a form that we enter the social security number in three different fields at the beginning of the form and then combine those into one field for auto insertion into other fields later in the form.The coding listed below works real well except when you enter something like 123 04 5678 it shows 123-4-5678. We need that missing zero to show. I have spent hours looking on the web and have tried things like  "toString in the "this.getfield' line, padding the fields with blanks, and others on this website and nothing works. So, I have a form I am editing that someone else created.  Using adobe Acrobat Pro DC. In this form I've got checkboxes.  The first checkbox has javascript that I want to affect multiple fields - by showing or hiding them based on if the box is checked or not.  For background, the box is called "Brkfst", is the first box in the form and if checked, two other fields should appear - 1st is basically a label for the second box.  The first box is set to hidden by default and marked read only.  Default is set to the label title I want to show.  The second box is a text box for user input and is set to hidden.The code I am trying to make work is in the actions under the Brkfst check box, and is set on the mouse up action, to run the following script:var fieldHide = event.target.isBoxChecked(0)?display.visible:display.hidden;this.getField("Expected Brkfst").display = fieldHide;this.getField("BDeliver").dispay = fieldHide;This code wasn't in the form when I got it

I need some help to see if its even possible for a message to display if I person enters a date, that is less than 2 days from today.  The message would just be a read only pop up that warns the form completer that if their event is less than two days from now, they should call a specific person to arrange their reservation space.  I tried some options in LiveCycle but I think LiveCycle is a little more complicated for me and the date field threw the message no matter what date was entered.  So now I am using Acrobat Pro DC.  And the field is currently a date field m/dd/yy format.  No other validation or calculations currently set on the field.I'm not a coder, so I may just be overthinking it or the script I'm looking for isn't a scripting thing at all but some other option I'm not aware of.  I don't want it to stop the user from entering the date, but prompt them to call ahead because of short notice. Hi,We have a created a form to be used internally within the business, we have noticed everytime we print the form we are then having to change the tray the form prints from via the "Page Setup" in the print screen.Is there a way to have the properties of the form changed so that the form automatically selects the same tray each time?

How can I generate a unique sequential number on a PDF form field? I want the sequence to be locked once form is saved (Save as) and generate a new sequence when a new form is opened. I also have a reset form button to clear all fields on the form and wouldnt want to affect the sequence field unless it is saved.

I receive a no. of pdf files daily which need to be send for Reviewing. We are trying to develop a workflow through which I can enable Commenting and Analysis on received pdf and start the process of Reviewing by sending an email. I need the user to enter a dollar amount in field A then reenter it in field B.  I want to compare fields A and B and throw and error if they don't match.   how do I do this?  i have ZERO java experience so dumb it down for me!! thanks.

Not looking for app.browseForDoc() function.  This one only gets the files.  I am looking for a way to bring up the Folder selection box so a user can select the folder location where a list of files are kept and then have a simple script to loop through the folder selected and combine them into one document.  Does anyone know how to do this?

But whenever the script runs, it basically invalidates the certified document with an invisible signature. Hi all,I am working on writing a doc-level function to be triggered when a particular page opens.A salesperson enters information for warranties (up to 4) that a customer has purchased for their vehicle on the first page of the document. When the page for the Bill of Sale opens, I want the "Notes" section to populate with the warranty information (description and cost).I don't want to take up more of the Notes section than necessary, so the function I'm writing will ultimately shift the line items up/down (i.e. if there is only one warranty package included, I want it to only show up on the last line). I haven't gotten that far yet as I keep getting a "field is null" error when I test this function.It will work for one line and populate it with information, then error and stop. If I run it a second time, it populates the next line, then errors. I can keep running it and it will fill everything correctly, but I can't figure out where the error is coming from. I don't know if the user will be filling out the form using Acrobat Pro or Reader so I'm using a logic statement in the document level Javascript to determine whether to use the "ImportDataObject" (Pro) or "AddAnot" (Reader) method.The problem that I'm running into is that while I can export document level attachments using the "this.exportDataObject" function by referencing the name passed to the "ImportDataOjbect" function... I don't know how to export a page level file attachment added using the "AddAnot" function.Really appreciate any help.
