HiI am designing an Access Database that combines a number of PDF documents and adds a set of bookmarks to various locations in the document , and also to a number of files and / or folder external to the PDF document. Currently I using VBA to open the PDF object and create the set of bookmarks, which for the most part work fine, however the are some issues:  some of the linked JPG or other graphic files open in a browser  (not the associated graphics program) or not at all  (The cause is not a file association issue).  Oddly, the resulting PDF will work correctly with some PDF readers and/or versions of Acrobat. but not in others. Dear allUisng MathType in Word gives the possibility to make internal links to the numbered equations. When I convert my Word file into pdf all the hyperlinks/cross-reference (Figures, references, Tables, ...) except the equation ones work properly.  I have Word 2013/Matytype 6.9/Adobe acrobat Pro Xi/ Windows 7.Thank you very much in advance

Greetings All,I have a drop down field which has all the Countries Names (Afghanistan, Albania, etc.) and for the export values I used each county's 3 digit code (AFG, ALB, etc.)After using this code for a few other fields, I need the actual country names when the user selects a country. In essence, I need both the selection Name and the export value. I have an image component which has two color fields "background color" and "border color". Initially when opening the dialog and selecting the value, the color swatch is working fine. But once I have saved the values in dialog, on opening it again the value of background color is overriding the value of border color. I have written a custom colorpicker.js. I've created an inspection form for work and would like it to auto calculate the date for next inspection 6 months minus 1 day from the date carried out. I found a script for adding days and that works fine between e.g Aug to Feb but not for Sep to Mar, where Feb only has 28 days. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is the first time I'm using this site and Adobe acrobat Pro as well. I have two pages of Timesheets. Each Page is seven days calendar dates. I want enter first date of a calendar week then I would like the rest of both weeks to populate automatically for total of 14 days calendar week. If anyone could assist me please, I would appreciate. When I click on any piece of text in a Adobe PDF that is a link to a URL, your software responds with an error        popup that says:        "Adobe Acrobat - Acrobat could not run the web browser. How can I auto-fill a user's name (or abbreviation of their name) in a text box? I know how to do the auto-fill for a date, but can't get the JavaScript to work for a user's name. This would be when the form is opened. I'm using Acrobat Pro DC XI.

I would like to change the border color of all of the fields in a 60+ array of fields, dependent upon whether a button is hidden, without having to set each field border color one-by-one. Here is an example of how I have this set up, which is not working. Hello,I am attempting to automate the process of adding a "Back to Index" button on the first page of each section of my PDF. All the pages I want to add the button to are bookmarked. I do know that you can duplicate a button on all pages, but really I only want the button on the FIRST page of each section. I have some coding experience, just not with Adobe javascript. I was thinking of an implementation that loops through all the bookmarks, pulling the page number they reference, and calling an "add button" function. Is this even possible? If so, could someone guide me along they way with some pre-written scripts?Or is there an easier way to do this? I appreciate any help!

I only know a bit of VBA, so Javascript is still a bit of a mistery to me.What I need is a program like this:If papersize = A4 or A3 ThenPrintsize = A4ElsePrintsize = A3This way, all our big drawings (A2-A0) will be printed on A3. The rest on A4. (Our A3 drawings are perfectly readable on A4 and that saves a lot of paper in the end.)I don't mind if this means that for a document of 20 pages, there will be 20 printjobs.thanks

I'm using the Javascript object interface to set properties of multiple annotations on a page. I would like the set the properties of all selected annotations at once but this method only allows setting the properties of one annotation at time, forcing me to iterate through all selected annotations and set them one at a time.  The is very slow.  In Acrobat DC user interface I can select multiple annotations and set all their properties at once (very quick).  Is there any programmatic means to accomplish this?

Hi Everyone,Our form requires about 5 different people to look at it, one after the other.  I set up a button for each person to press, once they sign it, to email a copy of the form along to the next person.Rather than sending a copy of the form via email, I'd like to have the button email the PDF file's location to the next person in line.  We all have a shared network so no problem regarding that.  I'm just not sure what I need to write in order to get this done!Any suggestions would be a appreciated!

Hi,I'm trying to script 3 different drop box in Adobe Acrobat Pro Dc and I'm wondering how I can script this so that when the first selection has been made in the first drop box, only certain selections would show in the second drop box and after selecting the second drop box only certain selections would show in the 3 drop boxthese are the 3 drop box im trying to script.So in the first drop box theres the services that people would choose for the cellphone and in the second drop box they have to select the IOS or Samsung etc. and the 3 drop box they would select the phone type they would like.is there anything or anyone that would be able to help me with this?

Hello world,I have a problem with a form I'm trying to put together; the form will be used to tally the amount of trucks coming into a job site (I.E. it is a grid with checkbox items that are ticked as trucks come in). The problem is, I'd also like to add the option of having a textbox with a value that will automatically tick the right amount of checkbox items, rather than checking them all one by one. I guess in summary the code would need to be like this: inputs > 0, Check Box 1 is checked. inputs > 1, Check Box 2 is checked, etc.I have no real experience with javascript, so any help would be appreciated,Thanks,
