Is there a way to search all of the javascript in a pdf? For example, if I get feedback in the console about a specific variable, how can I search for that variable?

I am trying to write a custom calculation that adds 3 percent to a specified total when over 500 dollars if a credit card number appears in a field at the bottom of the form

I have a calculated field in my form that adds 30 days to a date entered into DateofHire. I need the resulting date to be the first of the following month. Ex: Using a hire date of 7/1/17 my script results in 7/31/17, I need to calculate it to 8/1/17. If the hire date is 7/2/17, the script results in 8/1/17, I need the field to go to 9/1/17. I hope that makes sense. I'm currently trying to write a JavaScript to Extract pages from PDF files and save those extracted pages as a separate document.Say I have a 100 Page document, I wish to extract 30 Pages, now the first 90 should each be 3 separate 30 page documents, now when I get to last 10 I wish to save those 10 pages  as another document.  What's the best way to ensure this in a Script?[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved... Hi, I am creating a estimation/quotation form that can be quoted in GBP, Euro and USD. To do this, i have a radial button for each and you select the one you want. In the form i have 3 sets of the same fields with different currency formatted and it hides the un required ones and shows the selected one. I've done this before and it worked perfectly. I have a dropdown menu, that when an item is selected a description appears in a text box from the selection in the dropdown list. Hello,  I am having issues changing the text color and size of comments when using the comment tools.  I used to be able to do this by putting cursor on text and opening the text properties bar, but the text properties bar has stopped popping up even when selecting Crl+E.  When using a text box, I can get the properties bar of the text box pop up; then I switch to the text inside the text box and the text properties bar appears, however, I am not able to adjust font type, size and color.  Help? Could the text setting have been accidently set to default?  If so, can this be changed?

I know this is very basic js but I am attempting to change the color of 3 groups of radio buttons based on the mouse up action on another specific radio button in a different group.  After the color change is set i am then resetting the group and setting it to read only but the trouble I am having is setting the fill color.  I am sure my syntax is incorrect but I have googled and can not find one that will work.  I am attempting to set the fill color to gray.  Any assistance would be appreciated. Hello everyone;I found the following script (linked below) that worked just fine in calculating the age of the user in years, but I'm having problems customizing it so that it will do the same for months. Even with the little changes that I made, it seems to almost work except that it doesn't show months from 1-11. Case in point, see the screenshot below. At the time of this posting (April 2018), if the Date of Birth is in June, shouldn't the script calculate that the user is 32 years and 10 months old?I didn't know how to copy/paste code into this post so I took a screenshot of what I had (see below). In previous versions of Acrobat, I thought you could set a destination in a pdf and then call it from a webpage to open the document and go directly to the page. I cannot find how to do it using Acrobat DC.

The combine feature in  Adobe Acrobat DC Pro or Standard does not work. Getting 'No PDF file was created because Adobe Acrobat DC encountered an unidentified error'.

Below are this the question from my form. I have a radio button Yes/No set (named HMDA) and I want to force the applicant to answer the question without being able to skip over it.  I wrote the below code but it doesn't work properly.  If the applicant tries to skip the question an alert will appear letting them know they have to answer the question.  When they click ok to dismiss the alert - if they answer yes to the question my script works fine and they can move on to the next question on the form.  However, when they click ok to dismiss the alert - if they try to answer No to the question the alert appears again and they click ok to dismiss the alert then the No button will populate and then applicant can move on. Hello, I have a pdf with 500 pg, with 100 markers created with the names and surnames that appear ...My question is when I click on "PEREZ JUAN" goes to the page where it is, now it will be possible to "HIGHLIGHT THE PEREZ JUAN PLABRA" so that it is easier to locate where it is in the page?looked like when I go to the "search" tool and highlights the word found

In DC, when I combine several pdfs into one, I am getting double bookmarks (the file name and the bookmark that was inside each file).  Is there a way to delete either the parent or children bookmarks as a bulk batch after combining the PDFs into one?  I've found Sean Stewart's javascript but that only deletes the parent bookmark if it has the .pdf extension in the bookmark title, which it does not.  I have about 900 bookmarks/files (which created 1800 when combined) and I don't want to manually change each bookmark to have the .pdf extension.  So I would be happy with a js that changes the parent bookmark to include the .pdf and then I can run Sean's js.  I've tested it on a small pdf where I manually added the .pdf to three bookmarks and it works.  But I can't do that to 900 or I would just manually delete the bookmarks.  Looking for a somewhat easier solution.  Even if it's two separate js (one to rename, one to delete etc.)  Thank you so

Hi, I would like to create an alert box that will only come up on the first document in a batch. I have the pop-up as a Javascript that runs as part of a longer action that also includes preset Adobe actions (such as "Remove Hidden Data"). Right now I have something like this: app.alert("Did you create a copy in a pre-cleaned folder?", 1);The action then goes on to do a couple of other things from the pre-set actions in Adobe (removing hidden information, setting the initial view, and saving the document) before going on to the next document in the batch of files to be processed. However, when I include the javascript as part of my larger action, the alert box pops up with every document in the batch that is being processed. Is there a way to make it pop up only on the first document but not on subsequent documents?Thank you!
