I created a PDF form, and some fields are required. Once my co-workers fill out the form they must print it and sign it. The problem is, some of them avoid the required fields and go straight to print the form.I was wondering if there's a JavaScript to set the print button to not let users print unless they have fill out the required fields?Or at least get a message warning saying they need to fill out those fields.Thank you

I am attempting to create a fill-in PDF form that is a scorecard.  Points values are assigned based on what the user selects from a drop down list.  I have the individual points working, however, there are a lot of Syntax Errors.  Also, I cannot figure out how to add all the different values together. Hello,It's been a little while since I've visited the Adobe forms. Hopefully, everyone is well!Can anyone answer if I can assign values to the selections in a drop down menu? I'd like to provide a visual score in my form with respect to text answers from drop down selections.For example, drop down selections will be text, but I'd like to "assign each selection a value" to be calculated in a field dedicated to a numerical score:Not applicable - assign value of 0Good - assign value of 1Fair - assign value of 2Excellent - assign value of 3A score field will average the answers and provide a percentage based of the text selections the user chooses, but the numerical values will be calculated in the background showing only the score in the dedicated score field.If this is possible, can anyone point me in the direction of finding a script for this specific function?

Hello everybody,I've developed a stamps package for one of your teams on the organization and they've been using it for a while now, a week ago they presented me with their updates.One of this updates is the possibility to adapt the size and proportions of the background to fit the size of the text, instead of the text adapting to the frame the way that I've manage to do.Basically the question is of its possible to modify the size while changing the proportions? is this possible? or what is the closest way I could manage this?Thanks in advance.

I made a PDF form with Acrobat XI that should show/hide layers using JS depending on if the user checks or unchecks a checkbox.At first sight it worked fine either on Acrobat Pro as well Reader DC.I tested it with Reader X (2010) and it worked but didn't allow me to save the changes -- that make it totally pointless to meMy boss tested it on a different early Reader (don't know the version) and it didn't work at all. In his case the worse part is that it didn't tell that there was something wrong neither ask for an upgrade. It just didn't work.There is a way to control this?

I am new to Java Script and am trying to work out the followingI have a form with radio buttons.  And a variety of skills observations. Each observation has been marked as a group with different values 0, 1 or 2 depending on the level.I would like my total box to calculate the number of times the '2' button has been selected and '1' button etc. Help!!!

Hello there,I have just purchased a new mac running on OS X El Capitan and noticed that some of my Adobe products have issues or do not transfer properly to this OS platform. I am using "Adobe CS5 Premium" and "Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro" and have come across the 2 following issues thus far:1. Adobe Illustrator CS5 crashes every time I use the eyedropper tool. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? Not sure yet what other issues I will encounter as I have yet to test all the software included in the CS5 Premium package.2. Also, when I bought the "Adobe CS5 Premium" package for use with Design/Web, it included "Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro", for which I also have the product serial number (shown as registered in my Adobe account). The watermark is always inserted on all pages of my target PDF (all 600 pages). I am trying to create a plugin that redacts words in the same fashion as the ones you are creating manually. But I am having a hard time figuring out how this can be done. I have played around with PDRedactParams and PDApplyRedactionParams but with no luck. It always create the redaction with my "custom" values for color etc.So what I am basically asking is how to programatically create redaction annotations with the same parameters as used in "Properties" for redaction annotations  in Acrobat DC?

Hi,I used the library provided by datalogic(acrobat's) in my Java Program to extract the content from a pdf file, but after extraction, the content has symbols and non understandable fonts. hello,I am trying to create a folder level script that will save the file as a specific filename based on the form field data of 2 form fields. I understand that it needs to be a folder level script for proper permissions, but I can't seem to get anything to work. I have searched around a lot and have seen too many lines of code. If anyone can help me from scratch, I feel it would be better to start fresh.The file name should look like this: current folder/W.O. Hello;I'm working on an Acrobat DC PDF form and need to have one field be able to extract the year (format: yyyy) from another field where the user enters the entire date (format: mmddyyyy). This second field (where the user enters the date) should also automatically add in the slashes once the user leaves the field. How would I be able to do this?Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello, I have 19 various checkboxes that have unique names. I would like it so that if I check Check.19 that checkboxes 1-18 are checked. However, if you uncheck Check.19, they all are unchecked accordingly.The export value is the regular "Yes" currently.Thanks!
