I created Application by Using SDK to convert Word document to PDF.It works fine but after conversation PDF file's size increases so much.15-20 KB Word document becomes 1 MB PDF file after conversation.How can I optimize the PDF file's size?

Hello!  So the need for this code stems from a long line of problems with solutions that only somewhat work.  I need a text box in a fillable PDF form that someone can type any amount of characters into and have it fill the text box.  Solution: Use Auto text size.  Works great.  Problem is, I'm using a font that cuts off some decendors (like j, g, y) when the text box is set to Auto, and I need to use this font.  I have tried changing the text box size and adding spaces after the words.  Adding spaces does work (it keeps things centered and just makes the font smaller) but it also results in the Text Overflow Indicator ( + ) on the text box, which unfortunately prints.  To make the + stop printing, you have to change your acrobat preferences, and I am not interested in including instructions with this pdf for all my clients to change this setting locally on their computers.  This PDF should just work for them seamlessly without adding unnece

I have installed the complete brother driver/software on 2 different Windows 10 PCs and get the exact same result.  The printer prints just fine and communicates.  However Acrobat crashes when I try to scan from Acrobat X. So I've been working at this for awhile.  The situation is that users complete a form inputting their Last name, First name MI.  The problem is they're supposed to include the comma between the Last name and First name but sometimes they don't.  I tested the code below in W3Schools.com "Tryit Editor", and it works fine.  It just doesn't in my PDF file.  Here is what I have so far:function fComma() {    var str = this.getField("01: Name").value;    var res = str.replace(/,|\s+/, ',\n')    this.getField("01: Name").value = res;}And I also don't know where to place the function.  I currently have the function at document level and tried calling it from the Actions tab, the Format tab in Custom Format Script, and I tried it in the Custom Validation Script tab.  None of them are working so I'm betting the script is messed up.Please help.

When I open a JavaScript window in a pdf the box is so large that not only can I not see the 'Accept' and 'Cancel' buttons at the bottom but the in box text is also largely obscured by the following lines like so:If I either play around with the text size on my laptop as a whole I can get all the text and box to display but it's so tiny it's unusable. I've tried selecting 'No-Scaling' in  the Acrobat preferences but this just leads to the same issue that all the text is too tiny to read. I also changed the Acrobat pixels per inch to no avail. Is there a way to scale things to a manual degree rather than just 'Auto-Detect' or 'No-Scaling', or another way to get all the information on screen at a readable size?

When attempting to sign a pdf document using either the ‘Sign Document’ or ‘Place Signature’ button under the ‘Sign & Verify’ tab in Adobe Acrobat X, we are getting a message saying 'There was an error when attempting to commit this signature. The document has not been saved. The file may be read-only or another user may have it open. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder'. This is after the signature is applied and when the user clicks save in the Save As dialogue box.Additionally, we are also having a second issue, when after applying the signature and clicking save, the document saves ok but the signature does not appear on the document.The preview panel has been turned off and these issue happen intermittently.All help would be appreciated as users are getting frustrated.

I want the form to be able to make a selection from the list then add a sentence to the text field. I am looking to combine multiple PDFs using the "Interapplication Communication API Reference"The below snippet will combine the documents and preserve the layers it won't give the same results as creating a binder using the UI combine documents buttonThe difference being 1) The combine button creates layers for each PDF document and with the document layers created as sub layers whereas the snippet just created the doc layers without the parent layers as per document name. 2) The button automatically creates bookmarks for each document, the snippet doesn't.Any ideas how to at least get point 1 working. I cannot get exactly 9 digits to pop in Adobe Acrobat using RegEx custom redaction. Or any exact digit for that matter..^[0-9]{9}$-or-^\d{9}$returns zero hits.Example = 456324787This is simplest form and works in every online test and even on Regexbuddy.I can get [0-9]{9} and \d{9} to pop but it gives a ton of false positives. Hence the ^ to start and $ to stop.Example = 0.802738476(don’t want)Example = 802738476.0(don’t want)So is there any reason why Adobe pro redact would not accept the ^ or the $ to clean up my search??I'm editing the SearchRedactPatterns.xml file to do this action.

I have a pair of check-boxes with the same field name to simulate a radio button. I would like to select both fields separately in a javascript. I have a 10 page PDF document with multiple fill in boxes for users to fill in on a Ipad using Acrobat Reader DC.I am currently using Acrobat Pro DC  and in the 1st page, the user copies an Email received from dispatch.  Using a button, I want to take this data and parse out the Invoice #, Physical Address, and telephone number so I can use this variable to fill in the other pages of the PDF. How do I fill a pdf form from a database?

I would like to automatically identify and edit the headlines of pdf text documents (newspaper articles). As the fontsize of headlines use to be larger than the text body, I could identify the beginning and the end of a headline by screening the fontsize changes of characters. Unfortunatelly I have not yet found a javascript method of dectecting fontsizes, while this information is provided in the UI - even for proprietary fonts. Can anybody help?

Is there a way to stop the Overview scan when using the flatbed scanner?  I do not want to waste the few seconds for Acrobat to do a preview or overview scan before I am able to actually Scan the document.I'm connect to a Brother Multifunction printer / scanner (MFC7360N) via USB cable and running on a Mac with current system software.Thanks in advance.
