Hi GuysI have created a form with 20 check boxes  each check box is named vital signs 1-20 what I have managed to do is add up all the check boxes and display the answer as a percentage using the following:var total = 0;for (var i=1; i<=20; i++) {if (this.getField("vital signs "+i).value!="Off") total++;}event.value = total/20;my problem is that if 2 particular check boxes (Vital signs 3 & Vital signs 6) if either is not ticked then the percentage total  needs to be 0% but if they are both ticked then the true percentage for all 20 check boxes needs to be displayedalso if the percentage is less then 80% the total box needs to be redplease can anyone help

Hey Everyone,I have a pdf form that's secured (with a password) from unwanted editing (or possibly some light protection against people stealing the forms' scripts etc.)However, I'd like to have a script remove certain empty pages when printing the pdf.I got the script working as desired however when the editing password isn't entered the script gets a 'no rights' error when it tries to remove the empty page as instructed.My question is this:Is there a way to certify this on-print script so that it can remove the empty pages?Thank you in advance for any trouble to be taken.

so i created a checkbox which will hide fields when checked (mouse up)why dont the values come back when the box is unchecked? how do i do this?

Hi -Does anyone know how to use VBA (in Microsoft Access) to create a single PDF file by combining a collection of different file types (.docx, .pdf, .pptx, .jpg, .xlsx, etc)?  Basically I want to loop through a windows 7 directory and create a PDF file of everything in it.  I can do it manually right now by just selecting them all and right-clicking to use the menu option, but it sure would be nice to automate.Thank you for any help -Dan

I have a license and have Adobe Acrobat DC installed on one computer.   How do I install it on a second computer?

So I am not sure if this is the proper location for this, but it was the best I could find. I also searched the forums and could not find a good support answer. So I use Creative cloud at work, but I can not seem to download the extend script program. I had it installed and have been having no problem. All of a sudden I get random crashes from the extend script and Now I can no longer open it. I downloaded the only version I could find (3.5) and when I try to install it it tells me I am missing a file and to download a "Adobe Service Advisor" the two longer exists. any idea what I can do? also I am on Mac.

I know virtually nothing about coding, so please be gentle I have a list of items with checkboxes and I want to have a checkbox on one page in a PDF form get checked (turned on) when a user checks a box on the previous page. The checkbox on the first page is named "Redundant" and the checkbox on page 2 is named "Reach". I've tried to use code for what sounds like the same question, for example: if (this.getField("Redundant").value!="On") this.getField("Reach").value = "On";...but that didn't work, nor did others. Acrobat accepted that code (no errors), but when I tried to test it, the second checkbox didn't get checked.  As I said, though, I'm not a coder and this is as close to a foreign language as it gets for me! I feel like this should be simple -- check a box on one page so another box gets checked on another. Please help! I'm using Acrobat Pro DC. Thanks thanks thanks!!

I need to combine the 1st page of multiple PDF files into 1 PDF file. Please advise if there is a script that can be run to do this

Hi,I created a basic text field via Acrobat form to collect location info.Let's say that I guess some users will for sure type Chicago, NewYork, LosAngeles for sure, so I want to harvest -at least these inputs- in  a "clear" format.So, I would like to know if it is possible to embed into a text field a property somehow which contains a list of let's say per-assumptions, and to offer the user who fills the form (via reader) some suggestions when entering the letters in the corresponding text field.

Hi,I've searched around, but I've found very little related to what I need, so forgive me if this has been answered before.I have a very old form+macro created in Word that has worked well up until now. Every time the document is opened, it fills a Serial field with a number stored in a separate .txt file, and adds 1 to the value. After it has done this, it prints the form through a printer driver that is set up to print from a specific drawer of our copier (heavy paper), to be filled out by hand.Due to increased patronage, I need to create a form that allows me to bulk print 10 to 20 copies with unique serials at a time.I'm ok with adding extra steps to the printing process, or selecting the printer driver manually each time, but I can't figure out how to have the serial iterate based on prints/copies. We already have Acrobat for other uses, and I love the designs possible through Adobe FormsCental, so I'd like to recreate this in Adobe if possible.I think I could butcher the Word fil

So I am working on spawing a page template when a button in my PDF is clicked, then destroying it when the page is left. The page template has a video embedded that gets lost each time I spawn the template. All of the other items on the page show up, (text and button) but the video gets stripped. So this might be a dumb and simple question but I am attempting to have a letter grade out put based on the results of a different box.I have a text field that adds together two other fields on the form. (Lets call it Total point demerits) I need a different box (lets call it inspection grade) to out put a letter based on the data from box 1If total point demerits is <= 10 then inspection grade should be AIf total point demerits is >= 11 &&  <= 20 then inspection grade should be BIf total point demerits is >= 21 && <= 40 then inspection grade should be CThank you for your help.

I am creating an application that will provide the user with very limited specific information about a large pdf file (300 to 400 pages). OCRing the file is too time consuming and gives me too much irrelevant information. I can zero in on data I need based upon a couple of things: the name of the bookmark, and the general layout of the pages of that bookmarked exhibit. The pages are not pdf forms, they are basically boilerplate forms that present data in a uniform way. I would like to be able to create code that would harvest that text data. Essentially I am wanted to use the positioning of the data on the form to tell me what the data is. So, for example I know that "01/01/1998" is a birthdate based upon where it is positioned on a general page. Is this possible?

Hello,I have an employee timesheet that I am trying to setup. Time is entered in per Phase Code that is set up by job (not every job we have uses the same sequence of codes). To make it easier for the guys in the field so they dont have to memorize each code and what it stands for, I would like the drop down menu to display the code plus the description of the code but when a selection is made only display the code number. (i.e. "201 - Metal Studs" is shown in the drop down selection but when selected only "201" is shown). Is this possible? There are anywhere from 5 to 100 codes for any given project. To date, I havent tried anything and havent had luck finding anything online. Thanks in advance.
