Hello Guys, Is there any method to interact with internet explorer's adobe tool bar to save a pdf?

Currently creating an application form where there are required "Yes" or "No" answers (using radio buttons).1.  I'd like to have the form require either Yes or No to be selected but not both.  I've used the required selection under Properties>General. However, it is still requiring both to be checked even though they are in the same group.I've read several js scripts but they don't seem to fit these needs as it seems to be too simple.2.  Also, on another part of the form, if the applicant marks "Yes" I'd like a text box then be required (to explain why). So, first require a "Yes" or "No" if "Yes" then require "Textbox1"3. How can we use watch folder or timer concept in plugin using SDK? Please anyone answer my question

I launch one dialog using app.execDialog(dialog1). Then in that dialog I have a button and if they click the button I dismiss the current dialog using:"btn1": function(dialog) {     dialog.end();     app.execDialog(dialog2);}This works fine in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on Mac, but on Windows it does not dismiss the original dialog. Any ideas?

conversion from a word file with AVConversionConvertToPDF hangs when word file is in revision mode, conversion from a word file with AVConversionConvertToPDF hangs when word file is in revision mode.I am supposing that, like in manual mode, Word is waiting for the user to acknoledge some dialog.Can I control Word from the conversion process?Thanks a lot.Christian

I am trying to write a script to change a dropdown's background color depending on the value selected. Then when I select "Pass" again "Fail" gets written to the console and it turns red. Basically Adobe thinks the prior selection is the current one. How can I fix this behavior?

Hi,how can I extract the first line of a multiline textfield into a variable with javascript?The thing is I would like to use a multiline textfield for the address so that I don't need to use a lot of separate textfields.I need to extract the first line of it to get the client name (which always would be the first line of that field)Best regards

I am trying to create a dynamic stamp in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, that I can distribute to other users to use with minimal work on their end to use it. I have a 4-page form of which the 4th page is a summary of the data entered on the first 3 pages. I'm 'building' this 4th page using form fields that get their data from the other pages. While it works really well, there is one thing I'm hoping is possible:If a field (let's say field C on page 1) is empty, it won't get shown on page 4, but there will be space 'reserved' for the data, creating a gap between fields B and D. In that case, I'd like to have all fields following field C to move up the page and 'close the gap'.Is this possible?

The scenario is :A dropdown box that has a number of names, based on the name picked I would like to populate that person's age in a text box, then using that person's age I would like to populate another dropdown box with several choices, based on the age. I would like the 2nd drop down box to be updated from some sort of array defined for that person's name and age. Each person will need to be unique as far as the data in the 2nd drop down list.I have figured out how to populate the text box from the first dropdown list, but how do I take the text output and make a choice on populating another droptdown list.Any help would be appreciated.Dan

I have a series of dropdowns that I want to attach the same script to that basically makes a "notes" textfield required if the dropdown value is "fail" (and makes it not required if it is "pass"). The script I have for one of the dropdowns is:var result = this.getField("Dropdown5");var notes = this.getField("Text14");if(result.value == "Fail"){    notes.required = true;}else{    notes.required = false;}on mouse exit and it works fine but I was wondering if there is some other way to reference the dropdown that the script is attached to besides using the name. I know this refers to the pdf, but is there some other javascript construct or something to refer to the currently attached field? This way I won't have to edit a bunch of different scripts just to change the name and I can just do a copy/paste. OR is there some way to do this with a document script? I tried making one but nothing happened when I changed any dropdowns.

I have a fillable PDF form with five checkboxes named FEES3, FEES4, FEES5, FEES6, and FEES7. When any one of these five checkboxes is selected, a text field named Subtotal4 is automatically populated with a fee of $115. hello all,I have scoured the internet trying to figure out how to quickly merge files with the same unique identifier. I have 5000 files and there files are named As follows:5772000001_15772000001_25772000001_35772000002_15772000002_21. Is there a way to combined the files by unique identifier? Combined file 1 would have the three files from above that have this prefix (5772000001) and the two files that have the prefix (57720000012)2. Is there a way to saved the combined files to a folder that has that same prefix?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Greets, all:I found this formula for validating the number of charcters in a field:event.rc = (event.value=="" || /^\d{9}$/.test(event.value));...but in my case I want to make sure there's only four characters in the field (for the year number). It's easy enough to see that I need to replace the 9 with a 4, however, how do I code it so if four digits aren't entered for the year a warning pops up that says, "You must enter a four-digit year"?TIA for your help!

I am trying to create a way to link easily link attachments and be able to view them after they are added via button icon in a PDF form using buttons. I started w/  what believe is George_Johnson​ file import script which allows me to upload the images, if the user clicks the button however I have not been able to figure out how to use the selected attachment which will always be a image (most likely a jpeg) to also create (and set) the button's icon as the image. I tried to use annot.path to set event.target.buttonImportIcon however i always received a NotAllowedError.The form is to be used by our internal inspectors to note issues during a project, so the idea is that they can keep adding additional entries to the form via spawn button that duplicates an issues page template, each issue page has a upload button and that button becomes a thumbnail of the the picture they upload for that issue entry  so it is clear which attached images belong to which entries since the final

How do you change the items in a dialog popup based on the selection of another dialog popup?

I have a folder-level JavaScript file installed in the user javascript folder. I'm wondering if there's a way to pass a URL as a parameter when launching Acrobat and to have the folder-level JavaScript code access the URL so that it can use that particular URL. Is this possible?
