I have two fields where information is entered. When the numbers are calculated, I would like for the last digit of each entry to not be included. How do I accomplish this?Entry 1 is 1.23452Entry 2 is 1.23437Should be calculated in a new field as 1.2345 - 1.2343 (the two and the 7 are dropped off, respectively).

I have a form that asks questions with different possible answers to click on. Now when the answer is checked i need to have that field to equal a certain number. Then these totals would be added up for a complete total. For example: 1 question is:What is your age?____ (1) 56 and over____ (2) 46-55____ (3) 36-45____ (4) 20-35So if you chose 56 and over then that would equal 1 but if you chose 46-55 then it would equal 2. This field needs to be a text field i believe or a button but then the totals can calculate to a Sub Total from all questions. Help

Hello everyone,i've been searching and trying a lot of things but it just doesn't seem to work for me, maybe because i just started using js in adobe.In one dropdown menu i select (for example) a car type (VW, BMW etc.). Based on this, the selection possibilities of another dropdown(containing all types of car models for all car companies: golf, X3 etc.) shall be narrowed down to certain models(only VW e.g.). Any suggestions? I know how to get the content of the first dropdown via "getField" but hiding/unhiding or adding/removing in the second dropdown is the problem.Thanks!

I need to insert a document containing several pages into another document after every certain amount of pages.For example, my destination document is a 200-page document containing 100 2-page letters that I have to print out. Each letter will contain two enclosures that are in a source pdf file. Currently, I have to drag and drop the source file into the destination file behind each individual letter to get it ready for printing.I have been trying to write a script that will do this tedious work for me, but I am so green and I'm running into so many roadblocks. If anyone out there can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello!I need to create an interactive PDF. I am a graphic designer and I do not know JavaScript.In my PDF document I want user to enter his russian phone number in format +7 (111) 111-11-11.  Here "+7" is russian country code and it should be exactly like this.I understand that user might try to input "+" or parentheses or he might forget to press spacebar or accidentally hit some letter. So here is what I want exactly:1. User can not type anything but digits. When he types any other symbol nothing happens. No warning or any other thing.2. When user clicks on the field and inputs any symbol then this symbol should be changed automatically to +7 and an opening parenthesis should appear.For example: user types 7 then this 7 gets replaced to +7 (3. When user continues and type local area code like 963  the closing parenthesis should appear right after he types digit "3". At this point he should see +7 (963)4. When user types next three digits a hyphen should appear. For example

I have a group of 4 text fields but only want to allow user to fill in 3 of them (at user's choice) and if user tries to fill in the fourth, don't allow.Thanks in advance

Hi,I am encountering an issue with working with 16 + digit numbers. I have a script that converts the number from figures to words. However I use a math.floor calculation on the figures to separate out the decimals it rounds incorrectly. Is there a simple way to deal with such long numbers.  Or am I going to have to deal with this in the scrip and take out the Quadrillion values and compute them separately.Would share the script but it is on my work computer.

We receive many PDF invoices from suppliers.  I would like to provide our A/P folks of quickly adding a blank page to the document with an approval stamp with the following fields:  account no, approval signature, received date, processed data, and description.  I would then like users to be able to request signatures from other users through Acrobat DC.I apologize if this has been asked before.  I wish I could contact Adobe sales and support for this information, but they don't have an email address listed.  I would happily pay for support if I knew who to contact.  There are no email addresses listed anywhere.  I'm not sure I want to spend the day waiting on the phone.

I have used insert page from a document containing document level javascripts.This loads the document level javascripts into a new PDF which is a great way for users I support to add special functionality into their documents.The latest example is a JS that adds a date/time stamp as a button to the footer of each page. The requirement is however that this be triggered on the WillPrint document action. Unfortunately document actions do not seem to be respected in the new PDF from the imported PDF.I have tried adding this as a document level JS without the function wrapper but it does not set the trigger in the documentthis.setAction({cTrigger: "WillPrint", cScript: addDateStamp});Any suggestions that will allow for adding the functionality to the PDF without the user having to manually edit or add document actions...ThanksBen

Hi. I have Adobe Acrobat DC and SharePoint 2013. I need to send shared reviews using those two things. I have done this a thousand times before but since DC came out and SP was "upgraded" it's all messed up.  I have a library waiting to receive the review documents on SP; but when I try to send them through the tool "Send for Shared Comments" I'm told "The file destination provided is not valid."  I can't see anymore how to provide what they are asking for as I used to do in Acrobat 9. Does anyone know what to do? By the way, when I look in Preferences, "Shared Review and Form Data Collection" is set to "MySharePoint Workspace (send as link).

The form I'm working on has 30-some row with multiple similar calculations per row, so I'm hoping to make life easier for myself. I have two fields that I am multiplying in Acrobat CC (text4 * text5). This represents the total my company will pay towards holiday gifts for sales reps, but this amount can not exceed 250. So even if the results is more than 250, the answer can not show more than 250.

Where is AVExtensionMgrRegisterNotification, or AVAppRegisterNotification ?I am working on the first Adobe Reader plugin, and wondering where the APIs such as AVExtensionMgrRegisterNotification, or AVAppRegisterNotification are from?On Windows, I looked into all the Adobe Reader DLLs, such as AcroRd32.dll, but cannot find any exported functions like above.So how can the plugins access these APIs, if they are not exported in any DLLs?Thanks

If the value is less than three I would like this field to equal 0.How do I add this condition?

I am trying to limit the number of checkbox choice selected on a PDF document and have two sets of boxes where I would like to allow 7 choices of 9 boxes and 1 of 2 boxes on the same page.
