Need help writing a custom calculation script.  The script needs to be written so that if "Field1" = 80 and "Field2" = 10 then it returns John, but if "Field1" = 99 and "Field2" = 75, then it returns Jane.I tried using some other scripts that I found, but they wouldn't work.  It would usually just always return the value of my first "if statement" regardless of whether it was true or not".Also this is for Acrobat Standard DC.Thanks!

Hi,I want to change the color of the highlight color and found this script, but the only colors I get to display are the ugly yellow, green, blue and white. What is the correct way of adding f.e. rgba(,244, 109, 45, 0.5) instead of yellow?app.runtimeHighlight = true;app.runtimeHighlightColor = color.yellow;

Hi,I have a batch labeling action wizard which stores the starting document # in a global variable as "global.dnum".  The default start value is 1 (e.g., document 1).  I noticed if the user does not completely close Adobe Acrobat after labeling a batch of documents and then starts the action wizard again to label the next batch of documents, the action wizard skips the first document and instead labels the 2nd document with document 1 instead of document 2.  My guess is this happens because the global variable needs to be reset.  How can I force a reset/refresh of global.dnum so the user can label a set of say 10 documents and then label another set of 15 different documents, etc. without having to close Adobe Acrobat to ensure the right starting document number of 1 for each batch of documents?Using Acrobat Pro IX.Thx.Sue

I've created a numerous amount of check boxes to populate a sentance in one main text area. I want my javascript to basically do the following: check the number inserted by the user into the text field and then spawn template pages (amount equal to that of the number inserted in the text field).This is the code I have so far however it is not working, can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? I've created a button that uses JavaScript to add a template page to the end of our document. The button works, but it is greyed out. I titled the button "Additional Page", but the button is solid grey with no font. I've checked and the fill color is grey and the font color is black.I'm not sure what to do!! I have a field that a person enters a value into.  The value has to be entered as a value of 0.5 or 0.  For example:12.0012.5013.00Those values are acceptable.  A value of 12.25 is not acceptable.  Is there a way to basically not except a value that does not end with a .00 or a 0.50 and just leave the field blank if the operators enters something other then this?

Can someone tell me how to have a number format and a custom format script? I am using this script to put the feet hash mark when I enter a number. Like so,AFNumber_Format(0,0,0,0,"\'",false); The thing is I cannot set the number format so I can only enter a number if I use this script. If I don't use this script then I can set the number format but then I lose the feet hash mark. I can only use one or the other formats. Is there a way I can have both? At the moment I only have this script in the custom format script pane window. So then, I can enter text in the field. Not what I want to do. Can someone help? Thanks.

I'm sure there's an exceedingly simple answer I'm missing, but I can't seem to get this to work right.  All I want to do is subtract 2 from the sum value if the radio button ABCs is marked "NA" but it seems that no matter what I do, it still displays 8. Can someone tell me how to write a calculation script for this.  Im adding my "Dental" field and "Health" to get the "Total",  Then to the right, there are two fields for "6100" and "1150" (just accounting codes). Anyway, If the "Total" is $784.96 or something, how can i make the first $300 go in the "6100" field and the remaining balance go into the "1150 box?   Thanks Guys!

I've used the following code in VBA for years since Acrobat 9.  I had a new user of the application that had Acrobat 2017 Standard installed and it doesn't run the scan command.Set gpdfApp = CreateObject("AcroExch.App")gpdfApp.MenuItemExecute("Scan")I did some debugging and I could make the MenuItemExecute("Scan") work if I opened a document in Acrobat first but it doesn't seem to work right when Acrobat launches. Is there any code I could add/change to make this work for me?

Hi. I am currently making a time sheet in Adobe Acrobat DC which requires a unique reference number everytime a new person fills it out and sends it in. I have tried several things and besides setting up a database the pdf can connect to and extract a new number from which wasnt used, this is what i came up with.I made a button you can click on "LøbenummerKnap" (sorry for the danish), when clicked it fills out my field with a new random number which is based on time. And it works.My problem is that i need it to be as short as possible but still guaranteeing the next number is unique to what have bin given earlier.This is my code on the button:var d = new Date();//Divide by 100 to get milisecondsthis.getField("Løbenummer").value = Math.floor(d / 100);So every milisecond a new number is assigned to my "Løbenummer" field if the button is pressed. I'm sending a POST to a server.  I noticed, using fiddler, acrobat sends the request twice. Once without the authentication headers and one with the authentication headers.  I have two servers, a test server, which sends back a realm with the 402, and a prod server that has no realm.  Acrobat will send the request again with the proper auth headers for the test server (i think because there's a realm), but will not send another request to the prod server, I'm assuming because it lacks a realm.I can't find any other reason for this except to assume acrobat wants to know what realm the auth will be used in.  I tested this in POSTMAN, it works for both servers, but the authentication header is sent right away (no need for two calls).

Ok guys and gals.  I'm going nuts here. I have been doing a lot of research on a dynamic drop down list for adobe acrobat pro XI.  I've seen a few things but nothing is working.  Here is what I am trying to do.  I have two drop down boxes in a form titled "Status" and "Rank."  I want Status to have two labels to chose from; NCO and OFFICER.  In the "Rank" field I want the list of either all of the NCO or Officer ranks to appear for selection based upon which option is chosen in the field "Status."  I tried this script which has gotten me the closest but only displays the data in the "Rank" field for NCO when NCO is the first item in the list in the "Status" field and the data that does appear in the "Rank" field does not display as drop down options.  Rather, it displays as a line of text with commas.  If I chose the Officer item as the 2nd item in the list, I get no change in the "Rank" field.  It stays populated with the original NCO

How do I decrease the white space leading in the tag tree? With the August 2017 automatic update to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 17.012.20095.42964, the tag tree suddenly got expanded using a lot of white space leading. This negatively impacts me because now I can only view about 27 lines of tags. Last month, I could see about 50. This means I now need to spend a lot more time scrolling up and down in order to see tags. This is not acceptable. Whoever thought this was a good idea was wrong. It's a bad idea. I'm a production person in Acrobat. I can't waste all this time. When I telephoned Adobe, the heavily-accented girl told me there was no way.
