Hello,I many PDFs that I read in using Acrobat DC and I always need the top table on the second page of each PDF, I store these values in excel and later into a database.Is there  a way to automate this with javascript?Ideally I just need a way to quickly get data from the top table on the second page.thanks

HI,I am trying to make it so if the total number of pages (numPages) is 1, then the code inserts the "1" +  "page" and if there is a total of 3 pages , it would insert save as "3" + "pages".  I don't understand why the following is not saving the pdf with the cSavePath (i.e., filename) based on whether the total # of pages is 1 or not 1:        cSavePath += " - "        cSavePath += event.target.numPages        If (event.target.numPages == "1")       {cSavePath += " page"}                 If (event.target.numPages != "1")        {cSavePath += " pages"}     I even tried as numerical value:cSavePath += " - "        cSavePath += event.target.numPages     &nbsp

Hi there,I have recently been developing digital pdfs for salespeople to use to process orders. These are very nearly complete.One aspect of them is a unique ID agreement number. The format of this is as follows: aaa/bcccccaaa is a predefined personnel number.b is the last digit of the year - this currently does not update automatically and is just set as "7", and I will manually have to change this in 2018.ccccc is a calculation of how many minutes we are into the year, divided by 5.25 (to keep the number as 99,999 or less during work days of the year, so this number is never more than five digits)The problem I'm facing is that if ccccc is below five digits then the agreement number will be too short. Is there any way that I can force this part of the script to return five digits including leading zeroes? Hi,So someone was kind enough to provide the following code to generate an error message if there is a comma in the folder path.  However, this error is also coming up when there is a comma in the file name.  How can I make this error exclusive to only objecting a comma in the folder name and not the filename.  I don't care if there is a comma in the filename.  For example:C:\\test,in,the,program\file,1.pdf should generate an errorC:\\testintheprogram\file,1.pdf should not generate an errorif (/,/.test(this.path)) {app.alert("Error 104: Action Wizard will not run with commas present in the path folder.  Please remove all commas from the path foler and re-execute the program.");event.rc = false; }

Hi,Is there a way to remove a previous version of an action wizard from a user's panel?  For instance, I have an action wizard called BLA 1.9 an BLA 1.10.  I want the users to only use version 1.10 and the only way I can think to ensure they use the right version is by writing code which removes version 1.9.  I know the user can remove manually but is there a way to have this done automatically, without user doing it?S

My organisation keeps thousands of PDFs (mostly scanned forms, documents etc.), many of which have ridiculously large file sizes due to incorrect scan settings. When I select "preflight" in Acrobat XI pro, the dialogue box which pops up with all the options is very difficult to read because all of the line options in the dialogue box are squeezed together. It's so squashed together almost completely overlaying each other that even the click down option for more is difficult to execute. I've tried resizing the box itself by just dragging its corners but while the box itself expands the text remains crunched together.  I'm on a Microsoft Surface Pro running Win 10. I'm trying to get a document print ready and this was to be my first step. Is there a setting I've missed? Anyone have this problem/fix? Thanks in advance.

Every file I have 'Sent for Signature' appears to me as a single page which I then add a signature and date block to before sending. However, what gets sent (and thus returned to me after being signed) always includes this extra blank page with a signature block on it. A lot of my clients don't even realize it's there until they can't send the form back without signing it. For my purposes, this extra signature block is totally unnecessary and I definitely don't need an extra blank page with a signature on it (it confirms nothing for us). I've looked through my options before and after sending and I can't find the parameter to turn this off anywhere. It never shows up until after I send the document. Can anyone help?

Hello, I need help with a form i am putting together and am very new to javascript.If the age entered in box1 is 70, i would like the value in box4 = "Too Old" or "0" and if age is 15, then box4 = "Too Young" or "0". I have a pdf document that does not contain any date.  When I print the document I want the current date to print.  I am looking for instructions to do this.  I've found previous versions that suggest  adding a text field and some javascript using the “document will print” feature under “document processing”, but I can’t find accurate/detailed instructions for it to work with Acrobar pro dc.  I’m not familiar with scripting.

Hi, Can someone please help me , I have 10 fields which are populated with measured data.The data can be positive or negative, but not greater than -10 or +10If the data being measured is put into any of the fields, is less than or =  -10  / + 10 then I want to populate another field with "pass"but if the data being put into any of the fields is greater than -10 /+10 then I want to populate the other field with "fail"This is measured data,microns so can be positive or negative.Many thanks

Trying to deactivate Adobe Acrobat XI Pro on my old computer so I can install it on my new computer.  The Adobe instructions say to sign in, go to Help and select Deactivate.  When I sign in and go to Help, there is no option on the drop down menu that says deactivate.  How do I transfer my existing license to my new computer?Marge Sedlak
