Hello allMy Adobe X1 Pro form has 16 dropdowns for food choices, It's grown to 20Mb.All works well but is inefficient when the list changes, also each dropdown has to be setup again.I would like to imbed the food list behind the form [java] and have to dropdowns fed from a single list.Has anyone a working example I can deconstruct pleaseAny support, re-directions appreciatedThanksPaul

I'm clearly not understanding something in this process.I converted a regular PDF form into a fillable form using "Prepare Form".  My ideal being that people can eventually sign and send the form back to client directly from their browser/e-mail.I've made all the changes, saved the form, but when I open it from the web server location it just reverts back to being a bog-standard PDF that the user can't fill in!?What am I missing?Here's the form.  When I open this locally it's fillable, when I open it from the web server, it's not.  http://www.nathonjoneswebdesign.co.uk/caninerescue/PDFs/MEMBERS-APPLICATION-FORM-FILLABLE.pdf Hoping someone can point out the obvious!Thank you.NJ

Hi all.I'm pretty new to Javascript, but with a little technical aptitude and a lot of browsing on this forum, I've been able to create a somewhat complex form in Acrobat DC (Windows). The form functions as an interactive product ordering tool for office chairs. Initially, I setup the different chair options (fabric, headrest style, armrest style, etc.) in dropdown menus, with the selection auto-populating price/part number fields elsewhere in the form using both the export value and item name, along with document-level setValues scripts. For a better UX, I'm now hoping to switch to image buttons, where the user would click on an image of their chosen fabric and the same auto-population throughout the form would occur. For each option/image group, only one item could be chosen, just like a group of radio buttons. Is this even possible? I have two fields, one is calculated (text2) and the other has the user entering the data (text1). I want to compare the number entered to the calculated field. (The calculated field does not use the entered field in the calculation. Also, the calculation occurs prior to entries into text1) The entered number needs to be less than or equal to the calculated field. If it is not, I would like to un-hide a third text field (text3) - or I could use a popup alert. I do not want text3 to show until after something is entered into text1, meaning I don't want it to show before the user has a chance to enter a number.I've read through an assortment of similar posts but can't seem to find an answer that will work. It is unclear to me if this should be a validation script, a custom calculation, or added to an action.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello.  I've read a number of various blog posts but I'm still having trouble creating a dynamic stamp that will allow the user to just enter in 3 fields.  I already created the image, saved it as a Stamp, and located the file.  I then added the 3 text fields I need.  I am just not sure where to even begin with how to write the code in Acrobat DC.  The text fields are titled Text1, Text 2, and Text 3.  The outline of the stamp is simpleUser: Text1 (I need to be able to type in various initials)Amount: Text2 (Just need to be free form to type in either a percentage or $ amount)Sent: Text3 (Just need to write a name of whoever I sent it to)Any assistance is greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Hello,Is it any way to convert DWG-files (AutoCAD) to PDF in Black & White? Is it possible in the latest Acrobat version?In Windows Explorer, its possible to right-click and "Convert to Adobe PDF" on one or more DEG-files. But it's in color, and I can't figure out how to make it in Black & White like we need to have it.I'm working with AutoCAD LT 2015, but this issue is for non-AutoCAD users. I have tried to to set the locations for "Plot Configuration" and "Plot Style Table" like my AutoCAD, in Configuration Preferences for DGW-document, without any luck. I would like to step through the fields in a form (similar to VB's "For Each Field in Felds").......but I am confined to a C environment. I created an ActiveX controller for Adobe and for AFORMAUT. Hello there,i would like to use the adobe pdf reader com components in my application to show pdf files, which is selled to our customers.So I read a lot about licensing in this forum but my answer is still not clear. So I explain my steps:1. I added a Windows Forms UserControl to my Application, then added Adobe PDF Reader Com-Components to the UserControl. (VS 2017)2. When i perform step 1 , two libraries are automatically added to my project, AcroPDFLib and AxAcroPDFLib.When I Compile my project now, these two dll's are copied to my Debug/Release folder. To Run the Appliaction these Two libraries are needed.I dont't want to deliver Adobe PDF Reader at all, i just want to deliver these two dll's do my customers. If they have Adobe reader installed, fine it will work and pdf files are shown with Adobe Pdf reader, if not installed, a webbrowser control will just offer to download .Pdf files instead of showing them.Is there any need in this case to license it? Hi there I got a fillable pdf created by livecycle designer. Spaces of most textfields are limited to the preset value (i.e., 150 characters). Can I use javascript to set the default font size to 12pt and if the input text exceeds the textfield area, the font size will be automatically set to "auto font size" but not less than 8pt. Is it possible?? I know I can set the font size to auto font size by setting the default font size to "0pt". But in my case, the default font must be 12pt and the minimum is 8pt. Hi,I am using a template to add pages to a document which works fine. I have some (48) field calculations to check a box if an input value is between a certain range. It works fine on page 1. I have a text field on my form labelled "M1" on my pdf.   The value of M1 will always be a number ranging from 1-6. I've made a pdf of our colleges previous course catalog and for some reason it added links to pages outside of the path for the catalog. I need to search for pages that contain part of the url "/news" and delete them from the pdf. I've tried using a javascript, but nothing in the document is ever removed. Hello,I have some questions, I would be thankful if someone could help me:  1- when I open the ActiveView sample from SDK (Adobe DC) on windows, the selected pdf is not rendering properly, Do I need to do anything to get it to work without any issue? and when I click on comments the application stops working. Here is the Screenshot.  2- How Can I extend the ActiveView sample to have the commenting toolbar (including the drawing tools like line and etc...)?  3- Can I add line to pdf file through SDK classes?  4- Can I Enable commenting toolbar in Acrobat ActiveX control or is there any other control from Adobe Acrobat pro to use with commenting toolbar enabled?Thanks,
