I am new to Java Scripts. I read several online articles and have had some success but the one I am trying to attempt is not working. I am on Adobe XI Pro.What I am trying is a simple algebra calculation E = A-(B+C+D). I didn't use the Simplified Calculations because my fields were named with Symbols and Spaces automatically when I created the document. I was having a problem with the calculation order here anyway.I have attempted this in two different formats - please see below but neither give ma a calculation. I am not getting any errors they just don't work.Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Can anyone lead me to a place to download Acrobat Pro 8?

I used a script to autopopulate physical and mailing address based on a drop-down selection from of location's name. If there is an exception for the mailing address, I would like to delete out what was autopopulated and manually type in the correct information. However when I tab to the next field, the autopopulated data comes back and what I typed in disappears. Thanks for your guidance all!
Hello,I am new to Acrobat Javascript and I would like to get some help on this:I have a pdf form where I have a Volume "VF" [liter] in one field and a Flow "Q" [liter/minute] in another field. In the third field I would like the calculation of Emptying time in seconds: (VF/Q)*60Now, I manage to get the formula right, but as you start to fill in the other fields, the Q field is equal to zero so you get a message that the stated value do not match the field format. I understand this has something to do with the denominator is 0. I googled and tried the Javascript below but it doesnt work. What is wrong?(all fields have the same format.)// Custom calculation script(function () { // Get field values as numbersvar v1 = +getField("VF").value;var v2 = +getField("Q").value; // Perform calculation if denominator is not zero (or blank)if (v2 !== 0) {event.value = ( v1 / v2 ) * 60;} else {event.value = "";} })();

I have a drop down with 12 items. Each item has an Export Value. Can someone show me the javascript to enable me to have the drop down item price to go into text fields? What I'd like to accomplish is, to have the first Item export price go into text field A when that one is selected, then the second Item export price go into text field B, then the third Item export price to text field C, and so on. I want the prices to remain in the corresponding text fields until Reset. I hope this can be done and not too complicated cause I'm still learning javascript, but I like working with it. I'd appreciate any help and any script examples that I can learn from. Thanks guys.

I'm going to straight up admit I do not know scripting language so everything I've used I have found from the web.I have 3 comboboxes in a PDF with choices I want to have linked.I would like my export value of "Combobox1" to be the item value of "Combobox2", which then pushes "Combobox 2" export value to item value of "Combobox3".I am using this Custom Keystroke Script (under "Format" tab) for "Combobox1":if(!event.willCommit) { this.getField("Combobox2").value = event.changeEx;}This successfully pushes the export value to "Combobox2" (where I've set all dropdown item value options to the "Combobox1" export values). However, once I add any export values for the options in "Combobox2", the script from "Combobox1" no longer works.The script only pushes to "Combobox2" as long as "Combobox2" options have blank export values. I don't understand why this happens, as I would like to then use the above script to push "Combobox2" export values to "Combobox3". Is there no way to repeatedly

Good evening, I would need a big help, in a PDF form I need to visualize in a field that we call "TotDayi" a number obtained from the interval of two date fields, which we call "DateStart" and "DateEnd", as title The days are workable and can be developed in a working week of 5 days or 6 days (Saturday included), all this to calculate the days of actual work are also considered festivities including the patron saint and easter (or rather The pasquetta as the easter always falls on Sunday), in order to return the actual days between two dates I used this script:Code://console.show();//console.clear();var strStart = this.getField("dalgg").value;var strEnd = this.getField("Algg").value;if(strStart.length && strEnd.length){ var dateStart = util.scand("dd/mm/yyyy",strStart); var dateEnd = util.scand("dd/mm/yyyy",strEnd); var diff = dateEnd.getTime() - dateStart.getTime(); var oneDay = 24 * 60 * 60 * 1000; var days = Math.floor(diff/oneDay); event.
I am making a medical form in which i have text fields which generates notes based upon the form fields selection.Dropbox - ScreenCapture_12.flv First of you plz see the video from the above link.... i am getting everything right.. except for the problem in the video....the problem is .... when one doesnot choose the continous check boxes there is a one line gap between the two options (plz refer the above video link)............I want that when any of the checkbox is checked the there should not be a line gap.. as is the case in the video.Below is the java script which i am using:this.getField("subjective").value = "SOAP Notes\n" + "\n"+ "Chief Complaint\n" + "\n" + "Mr. " + this.getField("member.name.last").value + " is inquiring about utilizing orthotic bracing for his current conditions. His chief complaint at the time of this assessment is: " + this.getField("consult.chief-complaint").value + "\n\n" + "Subjective Notes - Information Reported by Patient\n\n" + "On a 0-10 pain
how would you force capitalization of the first letter of the first word in each sentence in a multi line text box. all other words in the sentence should be lower case
At the moment I'm using two buttons, one to halt calculations and one to perform the calculations using these scripts: // Turn Calculations Off // Use Master Calc to control calculations in other areas this.masterCalc = this.calculate = false; // Turn Calculations On this.masterCalc = this.calculate = true; this.calculateNow();I really don't have calculations in the form, I'm applying these scripts to help speed up the form processing (like changing field colors, show/hide fields, etc). What I would like to find is a script that would work better and to eliminate using the two buttons and having to click one to turn on the script and click the other to turn off the script.Can someone help me with this issue. The reason I'm asking this question is because when the AcrobatUsers forum was open to asking, someone said that these scripts were not ideal to help speed up form processing and that there were better scripts.
Hey Everyone, I'm trying to validate a date field(mm/dd/yyyy) against user input in my Adobe Acorbate form. The date field should only allow the current date, no future/past dates. Here's my code that prevents future / past dates depending on the greater than or less than condition. if (event.value != "") {var d = util.scand("mm/dd/yyyy", event.value).getTime();d = d - (d % 1000); var nNow = new Date().getTime();nNow = nNow - (nNow % 1000); if (d < nNow) {app.alert("You may not enter a date in the past.");event.rc = false;}}The issue I'm facing is that in each scenario the current date is excluded, it will either have to be a day before today or a day after today. So with the code above for example I cannot enter 05/09/2017 even though it isn't a past date, the code recognizes it as it is. I've tried where d != nNow and that didn't work either. I'm trying to enforce validation where the user can only enter the current date, hope someone can help. Thanks!
