I have a row of text fields that need to be rotated based on another field value.From this:To this:I've read through the forum and the only option I can see is to resize each text box? But that would be a lot of coordinates to script!Cheers in advance(P.S. Each text field has a custom calculation script and are individually hidden/shown based on another fields value, so they need to be text fields as far as I can see as opposed to image/button fields!)

Hello, I have a document which has 2 buttons a send via e-mail, and a print button.There is a single text input that has to be valideated for a 9 digit number.I'm using Javascript for the print and email sending and for the validation as well.My problem is, that the buttons are checking if the field is empty, but if I type in the correct amount of numbers, and DON'T click out of the text field the button will rercieves it as empty thus sending the error message.Any help would much appreciated. My javascript skills are decent, but I'm not familiar with Adobe JS.Thank you.

Morning All,Im trying to scan a multi page document using Acrobat Pro DC, basically i want to put a large document into my scanner. press scan and have all the pages scanned into one PDF.At the moment im getting 1 page of the multi page doc, im being promted to scan more pages but by that time the scaner already has scanned to whole donument. After this is says the scan can no longer be completed.Im usng Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and a network (ethernet) HP Pro MFP M477dw scanner.Any suggestonsCheersWoody

I am using Adobe ColdFusion on my client's server and I noticed that I cannot populate noneditable forms. I am looking for a way to programmatically prepare a form to make it have editable fields. Basically, I am looking to duplicate Adobe Acrobat PRO DC's 'prepare form' behavior via a scripting language? I would not mind if there is a Java solution to this. I am not sure if there is an API for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC but I would be interested in that as well. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

The following is happening for many of my users running Windows 7.The print both to printers on a Windows 2012r2 Print server and also to printers attached via IP address.All of the users have Acrobat DC with the latest updates.The problem: When the user selects print the print dialog box comes up. When they then click print the box closes. It never spools or does anything else..What I have done to trouble shoot:1. Tried different files saved locally and also out of email--same result as above.2. Uninstalled Acrobat DC and printed from the reader--same result.3. Uninstalled Reader and reinstalled Acrobat--same result.4. Ran the Clean Acrobat and Reader tool and then reinstalled--same result.5. Removed printer off of server and reinstalled printer using latest installer--same result.6. Tried printing to different printers--same result.7. I've been successfully using Acrobat Pro XI with MS Word 2003 under Windows 10 for several months.  This combination just stopped working -- When I try to convert .doc file to pdf inside Word, the process starts but hangs up.  When I open Acrobat Pro XI and try convert a file,  Acrobat tries to open "the application that created the file" but is unable to successfully complete this operation.  I reinstalled Acrobat with no change so I suspect this issue may  be the result of a recent Windows update.   Has anyone else seen this problem or have any suggestions?                 Jim[Mod: moved to Acrobat>Creating PDFs]

Can someone help me out with this? I have a button which places a new page in the doc, no problem. What I was wanting to do is to add a page number in the lower right hand side of the new page. As the doc grows so would the page numbers. The template places new pages after the first page so the number should be like so, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 etc. Is there a javascript to this? If so, where can I view it and where would I place it? Thank you.

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015.006.30033 and have been getting this message when trying to edit existing PDF documents: "this feature is not included in your current acrobat license".  I have run a repair with no success, removed and reinstalled the product with the same results.  Adobe Reader is not installed on this computer and documents are opening up in Acrobat not the browser.  Does anyone have a solution to this?Thanks!

Hi There,I'm creating a form for work - and am not very tech savvy.  I programmed my form to use checkboxes (after searching forums for hours) WOOP. I can not seem to , however, figure out how to have my text fields auto populate.  I would like my clients to type in their town or city and have the state and zipcode auto populate.  We are working with a specific state so I don't need to pull from a huge database, was hoping to manually enter all info (annoying, but I have time) for adobe to pull from.Would anyone be able to explain to me how to do this, and possibly provide the script as well. This is probably a fairly easy thing, I just can not figure it out. I've tried to manipulate other scripts but I don't think I truly understand how it works. Thanks!A

I have a 20 page form that we use for performance documentation on new employees. Most of the time, only a few pages are used. I would like to create a print button that, when clicked, executes a java script that will only print a range of pages (one range only) that have been filled out.I want to do this by utilizing the page numbers. At the bottom of each page, I have a "Page X of Y" area (where X is the current page and Y is the total number of pages). The Y fills out automatically with the total number of pages after a number is entered (User types in 5, it duplicates across the form for all pages).I want to somehow use the X form field as the indicator whether to print the page or not.Is this possible? HiI'm trying to improve a petty cash reimbursement process by introducing a form. The form includes an expenses list box that allows users to select Taxi, Meals, Telephone etc. These items require a receipt of purchase. Employees complete the form, scan their receipt and send these to their manager for approval.I wanted to know is it possible to set up a Browse button to select and attach .pdf file(s) (scanned copy of a receipt) so when the manager receives the form via email they can open the form, then open/view the attached receipt.Thanks for your helpMichael

I've built an action (using action wizard) in Acrobat XI Pro that inserts a single-page PDF file into another with this code:this.insertPages({cPath:"/C/Scanning Temp Storage/Blank Red Page.pdf"});I would like to find a way to have that page inserted after a selected page. So, varies from document to document.I used to have this action working the way I want it, but it got broken after I had to migrate my customized actions from one Windows user to another.Thanks for any help!
