Hi, I have both Adobe DC and Acrobat 2020 installed on my laptop. When I reference a VBAProject in an excel sheet, it always link to Adobe DC but not Acrobat 2020, seems like by default. Adobe DC is under C:\Program Files while Acrobat 2020 is under C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 2020. Is this the way it should be? or is there anything I can do to make it link to Acrobat 2020? Aparently, it reads the below codes well before reading the highlighted one. I got a Run-time error '429' ActiveX component can't create object when I run the highlighted code.Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks,Simon     

I am trying to automate the rotation of a given stamp that is duplicated across multiple pages. Typically I would attempt to script such procedure, but I lack information regarding the methods I have available. In what ways can you refer to an annotation, and what is the appropriate rotate method called?The only rotation I managed to achieve was by selecting the stamp, then executing a command along the lines of " this.selectedAnnots[0].rotate = <angle to rotate>".However, not only do I not want to select and execute the command (as that would be similar to manually rotating with the grip), but also, the rotation shrinks my stamp for some reason.Is there a more appropriate way to do this? Note I am using the Standard Version of Acrobat.Thanks

Hello All,I am probably making this more complicated than it needs to be, but I want to test the totals of 2 fields in the form that I have created.I have a hidden field ("Split Test") that should add together the 2 fields ("Amount To Be Paid On First Card" & "Amount To Be Paid On Second Card") if the checkbox marking the payment as multiple is checked ("MP Yes").  This checkbox is not a radio button, there is a checkbox for Yes and a checkbox for No.  No is the default selection.There is an app.alert within the code that needs to inform the user that the amounts for the cards cannot equal less than $99 or more than $1749.  But, if the multiple payment box hasn't been checked, this should not be tested at all.I have tried several different variations of code that I have found, inclusive of adjusting the codes that I already have in place, but to no avail.Any assistance that can be provided would be appreciated. I did find a way to trigger it so that it would add

My university hasenterprise account and I have been using it. Recently I just bought a personal (educational account). When I try to sign in with my personal account, creative cloud does not let me sign in with a personal account but asks me to sign in with university account (enterprise account). I want to use my personal account but not enterprise account.My notebook has enterprise account before. I try loggin in on another machine that do not have creative ccloud installed before and I can sign in creative cloud with my personal account. Looks like adobe places a hidden file somewhere that point to the creative cloud enterprise licene. I try uninstall, clean registry and credential but it did't work.How can I resolve this issue without having to reinstall Windows? Now I have wasted 2 months of subscription fees and I still cannot use any programs.

Hi all. I am new to Javascript and have limited understanding so far.I have created a fillable pdf form to align with my check paper to type customized checks. I have written a javascript to convert the number typed into the 'Amount' box (i.e. $1,000.00) to text on the written amount line (i.e. ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS). I would like to this this format itself as "ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS***********************************" with the asterisks repeating until the end of the textbox which would obviously be a variable length depending on the length of the words needed. Is it possible to print a PDF and also the PDF attachments inside of it with Javascript?

I have never been able to update my Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. I continually get the following message when trying to apply the automatic updates:"Error 1328. Error applying path to file C:\Config.Msi\PTB743.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor."Any ideas about how to get updated?

I want to make it where if some enters text into one field, it makes a handful of fields following it required. If no text is entered, the fields remain not required.

Dear All,After installing "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC" on Windows 7 Enterprise N, I am getting error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click ok to close the application" whenever I open any application or office document or any other text file. The behavior is strange, e.g. if I open a text file, I get the above error, then I click OK, and again I click the text file, it works. now I can open different text files and error will not appear. As soon as I try to open any other file like excel, error appears again and after clicking ok, I can open the excel file and keep opening many other excel files without any error.Error disappears when I uninstall the acrobat reader DC.Any one has experienced this?Regards 

downloaded find_highlight_and_extract.sequ from https://acrobatusers.com/actions-exchange but when I double click then I get a pop up saying that the file format is not correct or it has not been properlydecoded during download. 

I am using teh STAMPR sample to create a custom annotation type. It works as far as displaying it goes, but the first time it displays a True Type character, i get the pop up that says the font has a bad /BBox. I have tried diffrent fonts and they all getit. i use the font elsewhere in a textrun and it doesn't get the error.I modified the Cos generation in teh sample as shown below the commented out parts were where I tried a couple of things - one that I found suggested as it culd force a defaut and the other just being a large BBox that no character should ever exceed. Currently not adding the entry at all as the doc say it will be  determined by using information in the font.After I get the message box once, it doesn't show again until I close and reopen the file.And finally, there is one symptom that concerns me the most and makes me wonder if it might be a problem with Acrobat. If I use two different fonts, it will only complain about teh first charcter of the first font. It

How do I add a font to Acrobat so I can edit while keeping the integrity of my original document? 

Hello,At the risk of repeating a lot of people, I'm new to using Javascript and I'm hitting a wall. I have a 4 page document, and page one has a drop down with multiple options. If options 2, 4, 6 or 8 are selected, I want page 2 to be visible, but pages 3 and 4 to remain hidden. If options 1, 3, 5, 7 are selected then I'd like pages 2 and 4 to be hidden and page 3 visible. Lastly, if options a, b, or c are selected, pages 2 and 3 should be hidden and page 4 visible. I've created templates and named them Page2, Page3, and Page4. Unfortunately nothing I've found on google has been helpful, because I'm not using a checkbox nor using Live Cycle. I'm hoping for a javascript solution. I tried doing a JS action on both Mouse Up and Mouse Exit with just a simple show/hide action for page 2, but the below formula didn't work. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help! Hello,I am new to JS. I am trying to conditionally format two fields. Field one is a dropdown menu called "niche size" with three options: Small, Medium, and Large. Field two is called "Number of Persons." I am trying to code so that:If Small is selected, Number of Persons = 2If Medium is selected, Number of Persons = 3If Large is selected, Number of Persons = 4  I keep getting the error: SyntaxError: missing ; before statement 1: at line 2 even though there is a semicolon after at the end of line 1. Hi there The setup: in a PDF I have a bunch of dropdown lists with a huge amount of entries each. The selected items (input) of all boxes populates into one text field (output). What I'm trying to achieve: I need the output to be automatically separated by ", " (comma/space)so it will look like this (box selection 1, box selection 2, ...). Since there's a lot of entries, I can't do that manually. I think ther's a simple Javascript solution to add to the dropdowns or the text field, but I have no clue.Can someone help please? I am trying to print color a document with black in it. The black keeps coming out as a faded grayish black. It is not true black. I have printed real black before on this printer from this computer so I know it is possible, but for some reason it keeps coming out like this. Any ideas?

Simple question - How can the margins be set inside text form fields? (a JavaScript option is fine)   In a multi-line text field, the top margin (padding) seem excessive and does not match the margin seen in single line fields.  The following graphics illustrates this issue:   All lines displayed in the multi-line field, notice the extra margin/padding at the top of the field. The font used does not seem to matter.  This example uses Consolas (a fixed size font - like Courier)Moving up the bottom of the field does not change the top margin. Calibri displays the same issue (commonly used in Microsoft products) After much searching there seemed to be at one time a 'Paragaph' tab in the form field properties dialog.  No more. Any JavaScript solutions? Thank you for your time.Alex Lindberg

Hello,I have a text field formatted as a "date" or "mmmm d, yyyy" (or for example, "February 21, 2023").However, I cannot use my normal way of applying placeholder text or that is, the Default Value, as I recieve the error "The defualt value does not match the format (Date) specified".  Is there a simple way to add placeholder texts to a formatted field? Apologies as I am quite new at this - many thanks for any help.

Hi  I need your help with the following question:  I more or less just need the pdf merge (combine existing pdfs) and compress functionalty for use in a aprogramme with VBA. I donot need or want the full programme to be installed. Which version or license I have to buy?
