Is there a way to save my document as current date/Text Form Field1/Text Form Field 2 once it has been signed?  Either by javasript, document action or something?

Hi experts, I'm getting an "Unhandled exception at 0x772ECE50 (ucrtbase.dll)" when I run my plugin. Hi, Sorry to be asking again but I need some more help. I am trying to set up a PDF form in Acrobat 2017 to calculate the total of some cells. i.e    Field1 is CITY_RATE,  Field2 is COUNTRY_RATE, Field3 is NUMBER_DAYS and Field4 is TOTAL$ So if there is an entry in Field1 it is multiplied by Field3.  Using the calculate tab in properties I have been able to do this using "CITY_BFAST$, NUMBER_DAYS which does work.  But I want to set it up so that if I enter details in both Field1 & 2 they will both multiply by Field3 to give me a total in Field4 and this is where I am stumped.Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Hi All, I am using Acrobat Pro DC version 2020.012.20048I would like to ask you to help with the following:I have many pdf technical drawings. For each one I want to add an image holding additional information.When this additional info changes, I create a new image file (image source is the same) and rename the old one.What I would like to achieve is that pdf drawings update image after opening, showing the new file content.Is there a solution for this? Howdy, knowledgeables!I currently have eight tabs open on my browser in my effort to crack this code, and not one of them has helped me accomplish a simple, singular if/else effectively in a particular box's properties, which doesn't bode well for the fact that the ultimate if/else should be many, many lines tall.What I need to create is three auto-filling field variations, two of which are not mathmatically derived but are numerical values unique from but reliant on the user-entered value of another field, while the third field IS the mathematical sum of the two auto-generated fields, but only if a checkbox is marked. Hi allUsing the Action Wizard (Tools>Customize>Action Wizard) I created an action that sets the page box (page size) adds the trim marks and saves the document (see attached (XXXXX Label.pdf) I have a separate form with fields (some are dropdown) that I would like to integrate with the XXXXX Label.pdf by placing the form fields at the top  Is there a Javascript that would allow me to add those form fields to the top XXXXX Label.pdf?  Thanks much!

I have the full version of Acrobat Pro installed and licensed on my computer, but I don't want anything to do with the "Acrobat Document Cloud"! But every time I boot up, I get a message saying "Update available for Acrobat DC". Does this have anything to do with the fact that I have Adobe Creative Cloud installed? I was required to have it installed when I subscribed to a minimal-cost monthly subscription to Photoshop CC.But I never wanted anything to do with any 'cloud' features with respect to Acrobat Pro.How do I make these messages stop appearing?

Hello! I'm new here, and also using Adobe, but I'm trust on some of you have the solution to my problem, because I spent days try to do, but when I download the document is exactly the same, I don't know if I'm putting the javaScript in the wrong side, or javaScript code is being ignored by the API...So first of all, thanks in advance.  My version of Adobe is Adobe Acrobat PRO 2017 and the thing is, I need to show a page to the document if a value of the form is equal to 3, in other case, then show another page and hide the previous one. Other thing that I can do is put the text in the document inside a form field, and condition the field with the same condition that I mentioned, but applied to fields, but I don't know who can I do that neither. I don't want to use mouse up or something like that, the document need to be automatically generated with following these conditions. Thanks again,  Silvia. 

Hi, everyone. I have a script in drop down field named "MODEL". It has two options is the list, G2500 and ONYX. Depending the selection, the script changes/sets the items of the list. When I try to select an item from the drop down list G1CDU other than first item, it goes back to the first item. Hello! I'm hoping some one can help me out there.  I'm using Acrobat DC.  I have a form that has a small area that I can't seem to figure out how to make it do what I want, if it's even possible.  I would like a set of radio buttons to only appear if another check box is selected AND for them to dissapear when the check box is deselected.  I can make the first part happen by adding a "show/hide" action but this only works one time.  If the check box is deselected the radio buttons stay visible.  If this has to been accomplished by using a javascript, please site an example as I am a complete newbie at that.  Thanks!

I have been trying to set up dynamic page numbering for a fillable form I have created. There are several fields on the form that cause pages to either spawn or delete, so I am wanting the script to auto update the page numbers and the total number of pages. I have been researching this for several days online and have found several different scripts and none of them seem to work properly. This is the one that has made the most headway. event.value = "Page " + (event.target.page + 1) + " of " + (this.numPages); The problem I am running into is that when I use the event.target.page I get weird answers like "-1,21 of 4" then "-1,31 of 4" on the next page, etc. Does anyone know why the form is calculating this way? The number is increasing, I guess, on each page and the total number of pages is correct, but that number formatting is wrong. I have also tried this variation: event.value = "Page " + (this.pageNum +1) + " of  " + (this.numPages); That script just

I'm having the worst time trying to find answers to this...What I have is a PDF document that consists of several individual forms.  I want to set up the whole document so that when you open it, it immediately creates an options box that allows you to choose the form(s) you want, and when you click OK, it generates only those forms.  I know how to code the appearance of the options box, but I have no idea how or where to code it to actually make it work.  I think it's in the docReady event, but beyond that I'm stumped. I'm working in LiveCycle, ver. 11.0.1.[...].  Thanks in advance.

Hi All,I am looking into the feature for enabling/disabling share, export and auto save feature in Adoebe Acrobat Reader DC. I have been looking into couple of days. So far my findings are as follows,1. We could modify the registery keys to disable the Share feature by setting bEnableShareFile to 0. I set this property at "\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\AVGeneral".2. Hide the menu items by using app.hideMenuItem("Share File"); Both of the options are not working for me. I must be missing on something.Is it possible to enable/disable the share file, export pdf and auto save feature?Please note that I am new to Acrobat/Reader plugin development though I had some experience in photoshop, illustration extension development. Any help would be appreciated. Regards!

Greetings:I am working on an employee on-boarding packet with fillable fields and QR codes for scanning into our document managemet system.I have a seed page that captures name, address, etc of the new employee (completed by the HR Representative). These fields are repeated throughout the document and autopopulate becuase I use the same field names for each field; ie I have 3 FirstName fields, 3 LastName fields, etc..Information from the seed page is used to calculate QR codes with metadata for ultimate scanning into our document management system.Once the seed data is complete, I selectively flatten (the HR representative selects a button which performs the function) the repeating fields throughout the document so they can not be modified further. I also, or so I thought, flattened my QR codes, so it would maintain the image first created.I thought I had flattened the QR code as I included the field name in my list of fields to be flattened.As soon as my new employee types in anything

Hi, I am working in Acrobat DC and created a terms and conditions form used for clients to sign and return.  One of the dropdown selections allow the client to either "Authorize" or "Not Authorized" us to use their credit card.  There are several text fields, whereby the default is "Not Required", however if they select "Authorize", I want those text fields to change to "Required".  I have tried custom validation scripts recommended in other posts, but when selecting the "Authorize" option in the dropdown, those text fields still DO NOT change to required.  The current script I am using is in the dropdown field: this.getField("Name of text field").required = (event.value=="OTHER"); I have also tried similar script in each of the text fields, but to no avail. I also tried to use this.calculateNow(); in the document level javascript, but again, doesn't change text fields to required after the dropdown selection. Summary, any of the custom vali

Hi,How can I insert pages from one PDF file into another PDF file in the following way using Acrobat Javascript?Page1 of source PDF file will be insterted after page 1 of destination PDF file, page 2 of source file after page 2 of destination file etc keep inserting until last page n of source file is insterted after page n of dest file? I am specifying the AVDocPermRequest callback as part of the _t_AVDocOpenParams during opening of a pdf document. Even though the callback is called for some of the operations like edit, annotate.. Some of the permissions are not being accessed or honored by most of the adobe tools as well.  Few scenarios which are failing:PDPermReqOprOnline was working till the latest release and the adobe cloud was being disabled for the document, in the latest release even this is not honored, the upload to cloud and share a link are active inspite of denying this permPDPermReqOprUIemail was working in one of the old releases of Acrobat probably 2017, never seem to work on the latest DC release, i.e., denying this permission is not disabling the email option.Never could get compare and combine tools to disable its options inspite of denying all the permissions.
