Hi, after entering and exiting fullscreen mode, existing annotations are rendered twice. It seems like the annotations are baked into the tiles for viewing in fullscreen mode. Then after exiting fullscreen mode, these tiles won't be re-rendered so the baked annotations are still there. But they are also rendered in the commentsOverlay div as an svg, so they are actually rendered twice. Now if you move an annotation, the svg will move, but the baked annotation stays where it is. So now theres two of them. After modifying the zoom level, the tiles will be re-rendered and everything is fine again. It's sill kind of annyoing and irritating for the user though. I can reproduce the behaviour in the Bodea Brochure Demo in Chrome.  Thanks,Andreas

Recently, we received a notification regarding the need to upgrade our Adobe PDF service API before the upcoming deadline of September 30th. Currently, we utilize the adobepdftools connector within our Azure Logic Apps environment to efficiently generate PDF documents from various file formats. Given this impending API upgrade, we would like to clarify whether any specific configuration changes are required in Logic Apps Workflow to seamlessly transition to the newer version of the Adobe PDF API within adobepdftools.

I've been using Adobe embedded pdf on my website. Works well on pc it shows annotations (Sole purpose of the embedding) but it doesn't show on mobile. The code is in the attachment just hid the CLIENT ID. Thank you   [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]

I would like to obtain a visual representation of the output from PDF content extraction. For instance, if I have a PDF and I want to delineate the bounding areas of each element.My question pertains to the JSON provided by Adobe:Which key provides us with the coordinates of the bounding area?How should I utilize the obtained values to trace a bounding area (I'm converting the PDF into an image)?

While using the PDF Extract API we encountered a PDF document which could not be extracted with the following error message:adobe.pdfservices.operation.exception.exceptions.ServiceApiException: description =ERROR - Unable to extract content. Internal error; requestTrackingId=e920afa2-ee05-47e9-910e-ae9c3934ba1e; statusCode=500; errorCode=ERROR Upon further investigation we discovered that it was only the first two pages which caused the error. That means when sending the document without the first two pages works fine, but sending one of the first two pages results in the above mentioned error. I have attached the pages as individual pdf files, both of them cause the error. Any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to use a 'conditional-section' within my document template to check if  a string contains a certain substring. Take the example shown below: Assume my JSON input looks like this: "House" : {        "Furniture" : "Bed, Couch, Dresser"} And in my document template I am hoping to acheive something like this: {% conditional-section expr(House.furniture contains “Couch”) %}                The house contains a couch!{% end-section %} Is this possible? I purchased acrobate pro and still cannot combine pdf files 

Hi,Can you advise if developer accounts are throttled to allow only 2 PDF documents to be processed when using the export facility? I am finding that if I have 10 pdf files that I wish to export to an office format, only 2 will be undertaken and the third one will hang and timeout. If this is the case and only with a full account would I be able to process all 10 documents as a batch, that is fine, I am just unable to see any documentation that explains this. thanksG. 

I need to convert PDF documents to DOCX as part of a solution for our clients. Initially I was planning on using the Document Services API, but the client doesn't allow us to send documents to third party services. Does Adobe have any software solution that can convert documents on a local server instead of converting in the cloud? I have looked into using Acrobat Pro together with the Acrobat SDK, but understand that the EULA does not allow for server-side installation.

I received notification that my certificate was about to expire. So, today I have created, new certs and key. However, whenever I try and use anything Adobe all I get back is the message UNAUTHORIZED_ENGINE_ACCESS.I am trying to use the PDFServicesSDK dll. No joy. This did work, once, maybe a year ago. No idea. Nothing else of any use to suggest what the problem is. I have updated items in the developer area but all I get it this message. I followed the link in the emails to update the certificate but it just took me to my projects list.Quite amazed that no one else in the world seems to have seen this message so I guess I am just lucky.If anyone has anything useful they can throw me, it would be appreciated.thanks.G.

PDF Embed SDK has changed with Full_Window implementation where PDF is incredibly slow to load. It used to load hundreds of pages immediately using URL, but now via network tab it is loading a bunch of images every time you scroll to a different part of the document. Also,there is a new "Loading" indicator here

I need to get in touch with sales, I tried months ago to no avail. I submitted a request again just not but pre-empting it by trying to ask the community.  Maybe their emails were going to my spam? Maybe nobody works in sales at Adobe. My product is based on this API and we used to have it setup through AWS, when we went to switch from using my personal account to the company adobe team logins and they don't sell through AWS anymore this has become a big problem. Take my money!!

We recently launched enhanced external file support for Acrobat Services (details here: https://developer.adobe.com/document-services/docs/overview/pdf-services-api/howtos/pdf-external-storage-sol/), and I thought I'd share a quick example script. Following the straightforward instructions in the Getting Started page.  I successfully generated a bearer token.  Now when I try to generate the upload pre-signed URI, like this: curl.exe --location -- request  POST 'https://pdf-services.adobe.io/assests' --header 'X-API-Key: client_id_goes_here' --header 'Authorization: Bearer bearer_token_goes_here' --header 'Content-Type: application/json' --data-raw: '{ "mediaType":"application/pdf"}' I then get the Bad Request error.  Any idea what I'm missing?

When viewing a pdf in Chrome that has a link, Upon clicking the link I see the pop up asking "Do you want to open this link", I click Open Link but the link does not open. It appears to work fine in FireFox. Is there a way to fix this in Chrome?

Hello, we are trying to merge several documents in one PDF with Power Automate, however we noticed there is a limit of 20 documents to be merged.Is there a way to overcome this limit?The flow collect all files' contents in an array by the Apply to each action and then gives that as input to the Merge PDFs action. Thanks in advance for the support

I added the demo script below to my site with my client ID and it pulls in the pdf sample file as expected (URL in red).  I then added my own pfd URL and it fails to work.  I get a "File preview not available, please reload to try again" error. Here's the pdf I was trying to display:  https://medpower.com/s/himycasstatesubmissionfilecreation.pdfDo I have to save the source PDF files in a special way or on a special website before I can pull them in using the PDF Embed API? when tables in pdf are split across multiple pages, tables are not getting extracted in excel folders.

Hi, I am using the PDF Embed API to show PDFs in the browser. It works most of the time, but for some PDF files, it doesn't show anything. For example, this file shows correctly in the browser viewer, as well as in Adobe Acrobat Reader when I download the file and open it on my computer. However, using the PDF Embed API, the pages don't show any content as seen in the screenshot.
