Question

How do I report a poor quality stock image?

There is no feature that allows us to report poor quality photos, or vector images that are poorly executed. There is no feature that allows us to report images that are clearly AI when they are not tagged as such. Furthermore, the search results are often ABYSMAL – and they have been for years. People have clearly asked for these features/improvements and Adobe has not provided what we need. Will you just continue raising your prices and giving us ever more AI without responding to our needs? Seriously.

    Good luck.

    Based on personal experience, they all have their pros & cons.

    I hope you find what you’re looking for.

    It’s the same procedure for poor quality as mislabeled assets.

    When you encounter what you believe to be mislabeled AI assets, confirm it with an AI Detection Tool:

    Steps to Report Mislabeled or Poor Quality Assets:
    • Gather File Numbers: Locate the File ID number(s) (e.g., File #: 766397860).
    • Report in Stock Community Forum: Post the file numbers in the Adobe Stock Community forum, where staff and volunteers review complaints.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you. Two problems:

    1. That’s more steps than should be necessary. There should be a “Report” link accompanying each image that includes more options than just “Content contains the names of people” and “Content may infringe on IP rights”. This has been requested multiple times in the forums.
    2. Some of the poor quality stuff I’ve seen should never have been approved in the first place. Poor quality control.

    ===========

    IP & privacy violations are serious legal matters which could put the business at risk for civil & financial penalties. Asset critiques, however, are subjective concerns. One person’s trash is another person’s treasure. In the eye of the beholder… etc.

    If you have concerns about an asset’s quality, don’t buy it. Feel free to report it in the forum, or not. It’s your choice.
