how do I unlicense something that I purchased accidentally?

I'm just now figuring out this adobe stock and there are buttons all over to license stuff, and I can't see any prices anywhere.  I apparently have x photos that I can license as part of my subscription, but as I was traversing the site trying to see what stuff costs I ended up accidentally licensing a photo twice.  It really needs more feedback on what I am about to do.  So, how do I un-license the extra copy of a photo?

Thanks!

Hi K.,

Apologies, I only now saw your post. I don't see a record of you contacting customer care under the Adobe ID you are using here on the forums. I'm sorry you had a poor experience if you decide to renew your Adobe Stock subscription by the 19th, thirty days from when you closed your most recent subscription, I can assist you with receiving a replacent for the accidental licenses.

Hi Bev,

I just transferred my credits from dollar photo as well as I signed up for subscription here. And I ran into the same problem as others have!

I thought I was saving to my folder "Packaging" but it all went to Licensed! I'm still searching for the right images to use and these are not it or even if some are I didnt make the final decision yet! It is a little confusing here compare to Dollar Photo Club, so easy to make this mistake here! Please help! And as others suggested you should really change this...

Also a question, once the images are in your licensed folder in case you don't download right away, how do you download what you have already purchased? So confused

Hi vgplus

When you license an image it will appear in your License History on stock.adobe.com & you can download it from there.

When logged into the Stock site, you have the option to 'Save Preview' to computer or CC library or 'License & save to' computer or library.  When you license an image you are using one of your credits.

See Adobe Stock Help | Adobe Stock Learn & Support

How many of the images were licensed in error?

Kind regards

Bev

Hi Bev,

In my licensed folder I now have 24 images total, 5 of them I genuinely purchased, the rest I didn't mean to click on a licensed button. So, 19 unwanted images.

Also, in the licensed history there is no download button, I figured out another way yesterday... to click on each licensed image separately and save to desktop from there. But, why is it so complicated and need to make these extra steps to download something? Why in your licensed history there is no "download" button  and only a "license again" button. Why should I license again something that I already licensed?

In regards to folders vs. licensed images... I came here from Dollar Photo Club that I used for years and loved it, so from that experience to here, this is my thought.... On image thumbnail there shouldn't be a purchase button, but only an option to save to a folder! But, if they are both there, do a better job to separate the two... and if someone clicks on License by mistake at least there should be a confirmation pop up so you can confirm that you didn't accidentally click the wrong button. So many people are having this issue here, can't adobe team see it as a problem that needs to be fixed?

I accidentally licensed this image:

https://stock.adobe.com/stock-photo/princess/69665145

,while browsing thumbnails. I'm using a tablet and barely went over the image without clicking it and it got licensed, I see that the license button and two other buttons pop up when you highlight a thumbnail.

Hi Beverly,

I accidentally licensed the following image to my account, can I be credited back since I never wanted this image in the first place?

I really don't like how you guys placed the license button, it is so easy to click on it when navigating with a pen tablet.

Hi tariqj

I'm afraid we don't have the option to delete photos.  It appears that these images were part of your 30 day trial which expired on 16th January.

Kind regards

Dear Beverley

Thank you for your quick response!

Would you then be able un-license them? And/or remove them from the history?

Hi Beverley,

I've done it again. Can you please remove (92213224—startup business people group at office - image | Adobe Stock) that I accidentally downloaded?

I hope Adobe fixes this very common issue soon.

Many thanks!

Thanks for applying the credits.

My problem now is that I can not access the photos I had selected to use.

The Error message: "Licenses for this image are no longer available."

come up whenever I try to "License and Save".

Is this a glitch in the system? I tried 6 graphics and got the same message.

Please help,

Brenda

I also accidentally licensed an image, if you can issue one credit please. Agree with the others, there really needs to be an 24-hour unlicense or an Undo function built in to the system, please.

Same here... please unlicense #908743 purchased in error.

Hope there's a setting to disable the one-click license please.

Thank you kindly!
