It is important to note that if you have already migrated your files to the new version, it is not possible to return to the previous version. Secondly, if you return to the previous version, you next switch to the new version will have to be final (with all files migrated) rather than the "preview" mode (without files migrated) you are able to access currently.

If you have downloaded the new app and have not migrated your projects yet, only then can you switch back to the older app version once.

If you've migrated the files to the new Express app, then switching to the previous version will not be possible. For more details, please refer to the following: https://adobe.ly/3Uho2b7;

I also would love to have ALL the features of the old version included in the new version. The new version is a big learning curve and not intuitive or seamless -- at all. I will check out the thread of updates - but honesly, I have switched to Canva (which is highly intuitive and offers ar rich array of graphic elements) and am close to cancelling my subscricition to an app I used to adore. Sad.

This new version is not great and I would like to know if I can switch back to the old version. This new version is really geared to filmmaking and not the photo. You can’t do everything in one app bc it becomes this behemoth. I realize that AI is kind of running the show here. It’s a great aid in some things but it seems to be running this app leaving the customer with less choice.

If you see this banner at the top of the app, you can (for a limited time) tap it to go back to the previous version.

If you are not seeing it, that means you must have already agreed to migrate to the new version, and returning is not possible.

The new interface will get familiar as you use it, so please be patient with it. And if you are stuck with something, please post here; we're here to help!

This new version of Adobe Express is a total failure. All the intuitiveness of the old version has been lost. The web version has simply been duplicated on mobile without any adaptation. I used to use text animations a lot, and now they've all disappeared for obsolete effects... all to integrate AI that doesn't work... do you know how to get back to the old version?!!!! Thanks 🙏

I have already written the senior leadership team. This is such a bad launch. I followed the try, do you really want to try, are you sure you want to try. I never saw explore. So yes, I feel duped?

If you have explore, why don't you just have a seven day trial and allow us to download the old version if dissatisfied.

I literally pay for two useful applications in the suite. Now, I am down to one. It's $55+ USD a month for occasional use of powerhouse tools and 2 essential items. One was this mobile app that I thought you were making better.

I started with an HR director and I will continue up the chain. This team needs new leadership. With this litany of online complaints, simple allow us to download the old app until you resolve user issues and the team can come up with a better implemtation strategy.

The express version made so you didn't need to be an expert graphic designer to do some fast and high quality,

I feel completely duped by Adobe and this experience.

Why don't you share how dissatisfied people are?

i am very disappointment and plan to share on as many platforms as possible. Not sure why more people aren't warned about how bad the beta version is.

It is awful. Singularly awful.

I don't even know how to work it. Everything intuitive has been removed,

The three things that made my work look professional layouts, design suggestions, and text are gone,

I am embarrassed that I was duped by adobe

What's worse is we can't return from this misery
