Adobe Sign Access Token expiring too soon

We are currently experiencing an issue with access token validity within our Adobe eSign integration and would appreciate your assistance in investigating this matter.

Our application allows users to store documents and utilize Adobe eSign services to sign documents prior to download. Over the past three weeks, several users reported that their access tokens were expiring earlier than expected, resulting in “invalid access token” errors during usage.

As an initial workaround, we revoked the affected users’ existing tokens and requested them to re-authenticate and generate new tokens via their Adobe eSign accounts. This approach appeared to resolve the issue for most users.

However, two users continue to experience the same problem, where newly generated access tokens become invalid prematurely.

At this point, we would like to understand:

  • Whether there have been any recent changes in token lifecycle policies or validation mechanisms
  • If there are any known issues that could cause premature token invalidation
  • Any recommended steps to diagnose or resolve this issue for the affected users

Please let us know if you require additional details to assist with the investigation.

We appreciate your support and look forward to your guidance.

    Hi khurram.hassan,

The link will not work for the Developer account. It is only for the users with an enterprise subscription. With the developer account, you may contact the pre-sales team to get this checked. They will be able to provide you with pre-sales technical assistance and share the correct information.
Please refer to the following link to contact them: https://adobe.ly/3Q34kkX. You may use the Contact Us button for Adobe Sign Solutions under the team tab.

You may also post your query on the Acrobat Sign Developer community board to get advice from the experts.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi
