we want to be able to password protect our documents we send to clients and can only do it using the 1 box option below (black). my computer also seems to randomly switch between these 2 options, the only known cause that can switch it to the other one is if the pdf if editable.
i’ve looked online and cannot find anything helpful.
Could you please clarify what you mean by "PDF is editable"? Are you referring to whether the form already contains form fields? It would be very helpful if you could share a video of the workflow for both screens. Please include the complete steps, showing the options you encounter on both screens as you continue the process. You may use a dummy email for the email demonstration.
