External user having Adobe Sign account was asked to login

Question

The external users having Adobe Sign account ever logged in were asked to login when signing the document. This behaviour is not happening to external users without Adobe Sign account.

A similar behaviour was described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-sign/e-sign-document-requires-adobe-login/m-p/9786007 but the solution is not helpful.

Is there a way to avoid this behaviour?

we have found the same problem this week and are unable to get a contract signed by a Contractor which can causes us problems - this has never happened before - the message they are getting is:

Your account has been deactivated. Please contt your support staff. - see snip
