Switch back to classic experience in Adobe Sign

Does anyone know how I switch back to classic experience? This new experience is just awful and far too time consuming?! I use this programme every day to send bulk documents with multiple signatures and it's taking me an hour to do something that would usually take 10 minutes!!

Correct answer Meenakshi_Negi

Hi,
How do we change back to the Classic Version?

Agree with everyone else's feedback that the new version is painful to use.

Thanks.

Hi eric_6261,

Thank you for reaching out.

If you have already tried the steps suggested above and didn't find the option, there is not much you can do. You may try contacting the Acrobat Sign support team to see if it can be done via the backend. Please use the steps suggested in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/47D6rlU

Thanks,

Meenakshi

It appears that the option to use the classic interface has been taken away again, as it was, up until very recently, available by clicking the link in the top right side of the “send” page. My business is now unable to use AdobeSign. Any documents sent using the new interface are unable to be signed by the recipients, which defeats the purpose of this program. As other users have also noted, it takes significantly longer, with many more steps, to accomplish what could be done in minutes with the classic interface. If this is a forced roll out, we’ll likely have to find a different program to use for document signatures. My business needs an easy, reliable and user friendly option for digital signatures for daily use. This new interface isn’t offering any of that.

Hi @Miss_Michele,

Thank you for reaching out, and we're sorry to hear this is affecting your ability to send documents for signature. We understand how disruptive it is when a workflow your business relies on daily suddenly takes far more time and effort.

To confirm, you're finding that the option to switch to the classic experience is no longer available on the Send page, and that recipients are unable to complete signing on documents sent through the new interface.

The switch link between the new and classic Send experiences is controlled by the New request signature experience setting under Global Settings, and it can be enabled or disabled at the account or group level by an administrator. If you're not the account administrator, please check with them to confirm whether this setting is currently enabled for your organization.

Regarding recipients being unable to sign, could you let us know the specific error or behavior they're seeing when they open the document? A screenshot from the recipient's side, if you're able to get one, would help us look into this further.

Please share these details and we'll take it from there.

Thanks,

^BS

@Meenakshi Negi Im having the same issue. When I go to Profile>Settings> .... then there is no option for esign.
Any other way to revert back to the full classic version? I'm using the cloud based version if that makes a difference.

Hi andrew_6690,

Thank you for reaching out.

We checked your account, and you have the Acrobat Sign enterprise plan. Please reach out to the administrator of the Acrobat Sign account or the IT team in your organization. They will be able to make changes to the account. Please refer to the settings as shown in the screenshot.

Thanks,

I am one of the administrators of the account. Were getting alot of frustrated users who are experiencing some of the e-sign document changes and want to role back the classic versions full functionailty. Although I am not seeing that option or how to do that. Can you assist?

Worst update to date.  I'm finding an alternative to Sign.  I've been a user for years and it seems the engineers sit around trying to figure out how to make the software more difficult to use.

Hi jessedena1988,

We are sorry to hear about your experience with the new Acrobat Sign. We acknowledge that the new Acrobat Sign represents a notable change. The team is working on updating the application with the features as they used to work in the classic version.

We see that you are using the Acrobat Sign individual plan. You may try the following steps to revert to the classic version:

- Open the following link: https://adobe.ly/4jMQKw0.

- Click on your profile icon.

- Select settings and scroll down till E-Signing settings.

See if you get the option or not.

Feel free to let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

It should say disable, but is says enable because I already disabled mine.

Go into View then scroll down to Disable new Acrobat, I already mine but it seems they did something to the e-signature portion and it does not have an option to turn off the advance feature for signature and I agree with you. It is taking forever to do something that would normally take a few mintues.

Hi Kayleigh281146838ecr,

Thank you for reaching out.

When you use Acrobat Sign, you can switch to the classic version on the Send/ Home page at the top right.

Also, please make sure that the following option is enabled in the Admin account. If you are not the admin, please get in touch with the admin to make the changes.

  • Allow users to switch between the new Home experience and the classic Home experience.

Feel free to let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,
