AI generated images, can I sell them?

Hello, I wanted to ask about the copyright if there is any, so, I'm using a tool, made in a Google Colab, which uses stable diffusion AI, there is written script that if you click it activates the tool and I can do images for myself and no one can see them expect me, you also can load a model that helps to make other style images and make everything more beautiful e.t.c, so i want to ask if I'm using that, can i sell the images here or even if no one have permission to these images they are copyrighted? I just want to know if I can legally drop them here and sell them, or there is any problem.

Copyright is only part of the puzzle.  Generative AI is notoriously imperfect with details.  Particularly eyes, mouth, hands, feet and fingers.  It makes other blunders too. Examine your artwork closely at 100-300% magnification.  Fix imperfections manually if you can.  Discard the ones you can't fix.

High quality images are essential for Stock.  Otherwise, you won't sell anything. I've never used Google Art-Machine but if there is an option to generate high resolution output, use it. Low resolution JPGs are not Stock-worthy.

Midjourney charges extra for high resolution bandwidth and server resources.  Copyright is available to 2nd tier-level members or higher.  If you plan to generate a lot of AI artwork there, you'll need an ample budget to support it.

Good luck!

Hello,

@MatHayward, who is an Adobe employee, has written a post about AI Generative images. Read his post. It will answer a lot of your questions.

See his post here:

And follow through his links.

It is an important issue these days. Think about quality, IP issues, labeling etc.

You have to investigate whether the tools you use to create such images claim any copyright over the products created. Your agreement with Adobe Stock requires you to upload only assets in which you have clear "rights, title and interest" in the Work.

It's up to you to make sure that you own the copyright to the images you want to sell. Look here for more information on AI-generated images:Generative AI submission guidelines - Adobe Support Community - 13549435
