Exploring AI-Generated Art: Tips and Experiences

Hi everyone,

I am interested in exploring the world of AI-generated art and its impact on our lives. It's clear that this technology is already present in our lives and we cannot ignore it. That's why I also consider working in this direction. I have even tried my hand at a few projects and uploaded them on the Adobe Stock platform, waiting for approval. I suggest that those who have experience in this area should share their experiences. The rules set by Adobe Stock for this technology are quite simple. What other things should we pay attention to?

Best regards.

1. Not following the rules.

2. The reminder section concerns errors that can be corrected on-line with appropriate action. You can correct and resubmit.

3. Read the rules. It's stated there that if you have AI art depicting a fictional person, you need a property release. If the person is modelled after a living (or dead) person, you need a model release.

AI is far from perfect, particularly with fine details like eyes, nose, mouth, hands, fingers & feet.  We've seen some laughable mistakes from AI like the 5 legged horse or clock with 6 hands.  Examine images very closely.  Fix all imperfections if you can.  Discard the ones you can't fix.

Render only in high resolution upscales.  Additional service fees may apply.

Ensure you have copyright to the assets you generate.  This may vary by service so be sure to read the fine print.

Finally, I'm of the opinion that AI is at best an image enhancement tool for using in your own creative artwork.  For personal reasons, I could not put my name on something that was solely AI generated.  But I have no problem adding AI elements to my original artwork if it makes sense to do so.

Have fun with it.  Hopefully you can make a few sales along the way.

I appreciate your response. I acknowledge that describing people in a particular way can affect their expressions. I only shared descriptions of inanimate objects and similar things. I also wanted to bring to your attention that my images have not received approval from Adobe Stock for the past week and I believe there might be a problem. Furthermore, I utilize exclusively paid services.

Did your title, keyword, describe and submit as "Generative AI Illustration?"

Did you submit a signed property release by you as the artist?

  1. What is the most common oversight in submitting generative AI images?
  2. Can files that have been put into the reminder section be resubmitted after correction?
  3. What type of release is required if the person was completely generated by AI or based on a real person?
